Loaded Knock-Out Nachos

Great service by Kimberly! Funny & fast!! Sat in the bar w/ lotsa TVs & people. Tuesdays kids eat free. But we had a $10 credit from the new App. Food was all good. We got the 12.99 burger combo = soup or salad / burger / side / cookie. Burger was great. Fries could be crispier since I asked for crispy. Chicken tortilla soup was creamy & spicy but needed more chicken. Side salad was large & came w/ yummy breadstick. Cookie options were choc chip or snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin. Choc chip was tasty & crispy.

Southwest salad

My mom and I came to dinner here recently, on a Sunday evening. I ordered a bowl of their famous chicken tortilla soup and my mom ordered a bowl of their French onion soup. We also both ordered a southwest salad. My food was delicious (you cannot go wrong with the tortilla soup), but my mom said the French onion soup was lacking onions. Our service was outstanding and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely visit this location again in the future.

Ordered doordash and had a great experience. The Cajun pasta was well seasoned and largely portioned. The village salad was delicious. I may return just for that. I also ordered 2 snickerdoodle cookies. They were great.

Take out lunch for a hotel stay down the street. Ordered online and order ready when quoted. Chicken salad sandwich with fries, quesadilla and cheesecake. Food was just okay. Place looked a little tired inside, kind of a TGI Friday theme with junk on the walls, and staff not very attentive to anyone, including my takeout. No music, just so so atmosphere. The Max and Ermas on the west side is very different.

Great restaurant with great customer service and food! Convenient near Hampton inn and airport! Also have all you can eat wings in Wednesday and fish fry Fridays

Loved the vibe in this place. The young man who was our server was so very nice. The cheeseburger I ordered was cooked to perfection. The serving of fries are smaller than your usual restaurant, which is fine with me. The gentleman paid attention to detail and looked very happy to be working there. I'm so glad we decided to visit this restaurant. It's the first time I've ever been to a Max & Ermas. I am certainly going to look them up and try to read about their beginnings. I love the history behind businesses. The restaurant itself is decorated with signs, posters, wood type things etc. It all flows together to make this restaurant stand out. While you are eating you can scan the room for different things that are attached to the wall. The bar is on the other side of the wall which is great. It's there and close enough at the same time far enough to have families dining on the other side. Where I sat you can have a small group and are probably able to pull the curtains closed for some privacy.

The Boss Burger and seasoned fries

Hot Food! Great Service! It probably helped we came in just as they opened and we're the only ones in the restaurant for about a half hour. I had the Boss hamburger. It melted in my mouth. The corned beef was tender and blended well with the burger. The pretzel sticks were as good as I remembered. I miss the ice cream tub but happy the restaurant is still surviving.

You order food at the counter, online or at the drive thru and they do have indoor seating. The menu consisted of soup, salad, deli sandwiches and spuds (baked potatoes). They offer a "choose 2" option, which is 1/2 soup, salad, sandwich or spud + another half for $10.99. There is an up charge for Premium options that are marked with a red "P". My total was $12.19 including tip for the Choose 2. I tried the 1/2 spud with chili and cheese and 1/2 grilled chicken club sandwich. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Service was Excellent! Nice decor too with big screen TV's and clean restrooms.Highly recommend McAlister's!

I did want the sauerkraut to have more tang, and I think the dressing got somewhat lost in the mix, but I still thought it was a tasty sandwich. The $12.99 price tag also came with a pickle and a small side of unremarkable but serviceable potato salad. I was pleased to see that the soda fountain came stocked with Diet Dr. Pepper. I'm accustomed to restaurants only offering diet Coke/Pepsi for zero-sugar soda options. For dessert, I got a slice of the Colossal Carrot Cake, which didn't quite live up to its name, though it was a sizeable slice. The cake was moist, and if you like carrot cake, you'll probably be happy with McAlister's. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

My search didn't take me long, as I quickly found Express Deli: 5 minutes from the airport with an absurdly good rating. I don't always love ruben's, mostly because I'm not the biggest corn beef fan, but when they are done well, I am down. And I figured a place with a 4.9 rating would probably hit the spot. I think it did! I assume the mustached man who was a mirror image of the mascot was the owner, and he couldn't have been friendlier. There were only a couple of tables in here, so we sat down to ate, while a steady crowd of pick-up orders flowed through on a Friday at lunch time. My friend absolutely *insisted* I mention that they do not have parking spot lines painted in their lot. I am not one to turn down a dare, but I also acknowledge that these are the most inconsequential words I've ever typed in over 3,500 reviews. If you were to rank my priorities when evaluating a sandwich, the parking spot lines wouldn't crack the top 500. But my job is done here.

I stopped in last minute while out running errands. I was seated immediately on a busy Saturday late morning and greeted right after. The menu is fantastic. Great options, wonderful seasonal specials. (Short rib omelette?! Hell yes!) I wanted basic, so I built my own omelette with a side of bacon and a hot tea. They have a great drink menu- coffee, specialty cocoas, tea, cocktails, mocktails, and refreshers. I was on my way to see a friend, so I grabbed us each a refresher to go. My meal was out in just minutes. Expertly prepared, fresh and delicious. Also a very nice portion. Sourdough toast was excellent. Generous filling for the omelette too. The only drawback was a common plight for strip mall restaurants- entrance that opens straight into the dining room. No foyer or vestibule means the cold January air nipped you in the face every time that front door opened. On cold days, get a table in the back. I'd like to highlight the mocktail concept, too. I often want a spirited drink but don't imbibe booze often. I love that they have offerings. The entire staff was so nice and helpful. I can't wait to come back!

This is a Chicago company that I'm glad has landed in Cleveland. I was never a fan of Subway or any of those other places. Potbelly is different. How? Allow me to explain. First, I'll tell you what I usually get, then build from there. I love their turkey, Swiss, and avocado--my absolute fave. Their Italian "Wreck" is Ah-Mazing. The new prime rib is also excellent. For these sandwiches to work, you really need to start with fresh ingredients, or they'll be awful. After they come out of the oven, they add the avocado. I usually add the lettuce, onion, tomato, and a heaping helping of mayo and giardiniera or hot peppers. They're SO good. Their sandwiches are stuffed with ingredients, regardless of which size you get. The Skinny is filling; that's their smallest size. But wait, there's more! Their bagged chips are sui generis to Potbelly. I haven't even seen them sold in Chicago. But they pair perfectly with their sandwiches. Now, I recommend washing this all down with a bit of sweetness. Their Dream Bars are AH-MAZING. Grab one, even if you save it for later. I love them. I'm a big fan of their lemonade because I'm just sick of carbonated sodas. Folks, Clevelanders....it's worth your while to give this place an honest shot! Potbelly... bring back the PB&J! Nothing like a good, toasted, PB&J!
