Opened faced roast beef on bread. Very bad

Poor food quality. Open face roast beef was extremely dry. No mashed potatoes on Sunday. Charged for French fries as a substitute. Not seasoned.

Brunch at hazels today. My family and i decided to support local small business as much as possible. Hazels is your typical small town diner. The food is decent served hot and good size portions. Cost is reasonable and budget friendly. Don't expect much in the way of decor. But it's clean and comfortable with a small town feel. The only thing i don't like is breakfast is only severed until 12. I'm a breakfast kinda gal.

a coffee cup and a donut

The food is amazing and the staff is always so nice. I placed a order over the phone for pick up and everything was thefe.

In business since 1945 they do a nice breakfast. I have the bacon and eggs and they are as I hoped they would be.

Good for breakfast. Been going strong for decades. Server Charlotte is amazing. She's been there for over 60 years.

This is a great family restaurant and the prices are great as is the food. It's old fashioned but great value. I'm a regular here.

I grew up in Elyria and Oberlin and hadn't been to either in a long time. The Foundry is a really…read moregood option not far from the Square. Started with fries to share. That hit the spot while we waited for a friend to join us. I ordered the B&B Burger, barbecue and bacon, medium rare. It was delicious and cooked correctly. Even the last bite of the bun was crispy, in a very good way. Our service was friendly and very helpful. We needed more time to order due to being joined by a last minute friend. Clearing plates and drinks was a little slow but we asked the server to do so and that was solved. My dinner companions seemed to enjoy their meals too. The restaurant and bar itself is welcoming and seeing the downtown through the garage doors was very nice.

Did a delivery thru Toast for the first time. I ordered boneless wings with mild sauce with celery…read moreand blue cheese dressing. I also added extra celery and extra blue cheese. That came up to an extra 1.25. However I didn't get my extra celery or extra blue cheese dressing. The wings were good. I also ordered one each of their desserts. Chocolate chip cake , raspberry cheese cake and Chocolate Cake. Chocolate cake and Raspberry Cake were both delicious. We were too full to eat the chocolate chip cake. Over all good. But the kitchen needs to pay attention to every order. It took about an hour to get the delivery so I never bothered about the celery and dressing missing.

I have always loved Bistro 83. It has been a while since my last visit, and it appears the menu…read morehas been updated - and I love the additional choices. Today I ordered the Portobello burger. The portobello mushroom was marinated in balsamic. I'm not typically a fan of balsamic, but since I love Portobello I gave it a try. Unfortunately the balsamic marinade was too much, I almost choked with the first 3 bites. Both of my daughters tried the mushroom and agreed that it was too much balsamic marinade. This was the first time I returned a meal. Our waitress, Brenda, was AMAZING. She quickly had me order something else, which was promptly brought out to me (and it was delicious). Throughout the rest of our meal she continually apologized. I was not angry...I understood. She made this possibly bad experience a good one. My daughters enjoyed their meals. (Unfortunately my granddaughter did not enjoy hers - she ordered mac-n-cheese - and according to her it was tasteless.) Regardless, I love Bistro83 and I will go back, and the wonderful way we were treated is one of the reasons.

The best thing on our first trip here was the server and the busser that kept the table cleared …read more We also had 530 reservations and asked for a quieter area as a couple people in my family are hard of hearing . That was honored , so thank you . However , The food was underwhelming at best . We were sat immediately but didn't get our meals until almost 645 . We ordered hot chips for an appetizer and they came on a salad plate? They practically slid off the plate when placed on the table . A basket of some type would present a lot better IMHO like most restaurants do w like apps. I know it seems picky but I feel as though this is supposed to be a little more upscale than an Applebees . My mom and I ordered the Garlic Shrimp scampi , the noodles were Al dente which I prefer , but they all stuck together in a ball , both dishes and there was zero flavor and the dish was hardly hot temperature wise . My fiancé had the chicken Marsala and he said he should have just had a burger . The kids meals were enjoyed more than the entrees ~ chicken tenders and fries were good ! The waitress acknowledged and apologized for the long wait and manager comped us desserts . My mom had the crème brûlée , she did enjoy. I tried a white strawberry type cake , it was awful . It looked great but it was dry and watery when bit into the cake . It's like it was in a too cold refrigerator too long . The consistency was like packed cold sand that fell apart in your mouth . Just not good . I really wanted this to be a great experience, NR is my hometown and my mom still lives there , we visit a lot . I'd hoped it could be a better than it was because the atmosphere is beautiful and the server was great ~ but what is up w the food an experience that wasn't worth the price tag unfortunately.
