Blue sky is a hometown favorite! They have two locations, but this is the one I've been to more often. I have been coming here since I think I was in middle school. I do believe this is a breakfast all day type of place, but I cannot remember off the top of my head. I have been here plenty of times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My favorite breakfast to get is the meat lovers skillet, which is sausage, ham, bacon, cheese, potatoes, and two eggs your way. I actually get three eggs personally and I get them sunny side up. It's the perfect combo. I believe it's also comes the toast. They have typical diner coffee nothing spectacular. They have so many homestyle meals to choose from. My go to for dinner when I come. Here is their chicken Parmesan. It comes with a cup of soup and a side it is so much food for a great price. They also have a cake display with all of the different kinds of cakes and cheesecakes. They have for sale by the slice. I always try to get a piece of cheesecake when I go or take home with me. They also have soup of the day, vegetable of the day, and daily dinner specials. Overall, their prices here are very affordable. This is your typical hometown diner, so don't expect anything else when it comes to decor. There are just typical booths and tables that you would find at a diner. I almost always have great service when I come here - there are many people I know come here on a regular basis. read more

Solid diner with truly great service and great food! Came here with a larger group for late breakfast / early lunch, and though a sign said they were short staffed, didn't once feel as though we weren't taken care of. The server was stellar! They even made a special coffee drink for everyone who wanted a fun iced coffee experience! I went with the farmers omelette and chose cottage cheese instead of potatoes, and it was a good substitution. Farmers omelette with added cheese was the move, and was a delicious breakfast. The snickers cheesecake we got on the way out was OUTSTANDING. It was silky, chocolatey, and peanut buttery with some caramel flavors really combining for a whole snickers experience. The space is clean, there is a lot of seating to get you in quickly, and the service is fast and friendly. Great that they are open about an hour later than other diners in the area, especially during the pandemic when others are reducing their hours due to staff shortages. Got in on Thursday at 8 p.m. and focused on the specials which included Lake Erie perch (4 pcs) as well as pierogies. Included were are choice of stuffed pepper soup, and for the perch - dressing, fried mashed potatoes, and cole slaw. With it getting late, we got the pumpkin roll slice to go for dessert. We have visited this restaurant a few times. The have a restaurant in Lorain, OH as well. I visited the one in Lorain many years ago. I noticed that they do a lot of business via delivery drivers / orders on line. You can see the tables full with many orders. The tables are usually full of families, friends and couples. The servers are quick to take your orders. The orders come out within a descent amount of time. The food usually taste good. Last time we ate there I wasn't impressed. This goes to show how a restaurant can have their good and not so good days. read more

The breakfast here is amazing. Their biscuits and gravy are always good. They have deep fried hash browns too!

We had to wait outside for over half an hour which was fine. What wasn't fine is other people going in and being seated ahead of us without having to be on the wait list. Drove by this place on my way to somewhere else that ended up being closed, so I turned around, Yelped it, and tried it. I had the all American burger and it was a pretty standard burger but not too bad. All the sandwiches come with fries and a cold side or cup of soup. I tried the stuffed pepper soup. My parents each got an omelette and they enjoyed their meals. We had good service and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable, my burger and all the sides was $6.99! Stopped in because it had pretty good reviews. Not sure why though! The philly steak sandwich was pretty bad. The green peppers tasted old and little to no meat. The fries were nothing great! I am sure they get the lowest quality food they can, and serve it. The chicken club was blah and left a bad taste. Took home the leftovers to feed ti the raccoons... Nothing really to rave about. There were lots of breakfast options but I had the scrambled eggs, potatoes, toast and husband got the fruit yogurt parfait with muffin (fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, which was huge).
