My husband and I were looking for a good fish dinner because we don't eat meat on Fridays. We were already sitting down at Ruby tuesdays at 430pm. I know that was the correct time because I looked at Hubby's watch. I ordered the tilapia and asked the waitress to have the cook put very little blackened seasoning on it. It also came w a few shrimp and cream sauce. and I got 2 sides with it. Hubby got the same.but he likes the spicy seasoning. It got to be 515 and we were asking the waitress where are our dinners. (She did tell us the kitchen was backed up earlier) A few min later she serves us a chicken and salmon dinner. I said what! that is not ours! So here we are waiting again. Waitress said our tilapia would be out soon. Finally my husband asks to speak to the manager. because she kinda just made that up. Then at 605 we got our dinners. He did not charge us for the dinners. We walked out at 620pm. I felt bad for the waitress. I do not think she was properly trained. She did say she just started! I forgot to take a pic. It's a typical chain restaurant but what sets them apart is the salad bar. There are very few places with a salad bar these days. Their salad bar is always fresh and they keep everything cold including the salad plates. It's a reasonably priced and if you sign up on their website with a email address you'll get coupons. We used a coupon and 2 salad bars was $13.58 total. They have 3 tv's in the bar area. The seating is comfortable. They have booths and tables. The service is excellent and attentive. read more

We haven't had Ruby Tuesday in years. There are none left near us. We saw this one while running errands and stopped in remembering how amazing their salad bar was. It did not disappoint even though we couldn't find the soup. Our meals were another story. My shrimp was adequate at best. I used to eat here more often when the location in seven hills was still around I would enjoy the pasta salad bar but that no longer intrigues me. I got a ribeye quesadilla and had a piece but I filled up on five coke zeros first and had one piece of bourbon bbq boneless wing and took my leftovers home. My friend was kind and attentive about getting the server to refill my drinks. I was just chilling at the restaurant but service was nice and ambience was pretty good. I'll have to be in a mood for a salad or something else on their menu before I come back because their salmon has a lot of sauce on it and I never tried their ribs - they also had a tilapia and shrimp dish on the menu that looked OK . I wasn't wowed by the food but I had a good time with the people I was with. I did remember I had a loaded backed Potato for supper that hit the spot. Andrew was server from the bar, and he was excellent, friendly, and funny. We came for the. Thursday special $9 burger. The salad bar was in great shape. Most of the food was very fresh and it was stocked well. I did get a little sick from something on the bar... I presume it was the corn salad, it just didn't seem right very mushy. Zero stars. This used to be a regular place for our family to meet for dinner. We often had exemplary service and delicious food. Yesterday was the third time in a matter of months that we've gone there, again regretting choosing this restaurant due to the mediocre service and terrible food. We were there for my brother-in-law's birthday. We had to wait 40 minutes, which we knew and it went a little quicker so we left our name on the list. When we were seated, there were 4 of us...and we were given only three sets of silverware. We ordered the salad bar and diet for me, salad bar and soup and a Coke for my mom, fish and chips and a beer for my husband and then a Smashburger, salad bar and a beer for my brother-in-law. In addition to the sodas, we requested 4 waters. The water didn't come for almost 10 minutes ( and we had already gone to the salad bar). My brother-in-law and husband both ordered beers that were PRINTED ON THE MENU and we were told that they didn't have either. But then the server came back with the "one last bottle" of Yuengling for my brother-in-law, my husband had to give her a second option as she didn't know if they had Voodoo Ranger. It would be one thing if she wasn't sure they had it. She didn't even know what it was, and again, it was printed in the menu. We had to show her the menu! Last time I was there, I was told after I ate that honey mustard dressing is no longer kept out on the bar. But you could ask for it from the kitchen. That is the only reason I get this salad bar. So I asked the server -before I even ordered- if I could get some honey mustard and she said, no problem. I went and got my food off the bar, ate some of the cole slaw, and some of the pasta salad, waiting on the dressing. She came out with 2 cups that were empty for the dressing. And it took a minute for me to register, but I said I was told that the honey mustard would come from the kitchen, and she seemed to have just misunderstood. In the meantime, my mom's soup came out and it was cold. So my mom walked up to the bar and asked if she could get her soup warmed up. More than 5 minutes later, we're all sitting at the table. They bring my mom's soup with no spoon. And the server tells me THEN that they don't have honey mustard dressing. Had I known that from the beginning, I would have ordered something else. When it came time to pay, we don't have a tap card. So the server told me that the swipe chip reader was broken, and we had to key in the card number details manually. I'm not sure I even feel bad for the server. What a shit show. Because it sounds like the place has just gone to hell on all levels. As this was the third time we've gone that I've been told there's no dressing, no beers, even though they're on the menu...and to order and to get food takes a long time, we've officially decided as a family that we're not going to go to this particular Ruby Tuesday -or possibly any Ruby Tuesday- ever again. It's one thing if it was marginal and it got worse, but it used to be a very nice restaurant with very good food and excellent service. And now it's awful, it's hard to spend $60 plus tip when there was nothing redeeming about the entire meal. Let alone being embarrassed because my brother-in- law was celebrating his birthday and that was the experience that he had. I told my husband as we were leaving that I don't even want a gift card to Ruby Tuesday because I don't want to go there again. It was deep fried in the same oil that they use for fish, shrimp, etc. Even my pickle tasted like fish! What a shit show. Went there on valentines day (figured it wouldn't be that crazy because its just ruby tuesday). It didnt look overly busy, but we had to wait 20 min for a table, no big deal. The meal was ok, service was not. Our waitress didnt come around much, and messed up our order. It didnt seem like she didnt know how to waitress, just that she didnt care. She gave us butter noodles for my child instead of marinara, so we had to wait for the sauce on the side. Never brought my kids' broccoli, and then at the end of the meal, which was supposed to be a valentines special that included dessert, asked if we wanted to order dessert. We said no, but our meal was supposed to come with it. She told us we could take it to go, so we said ok. After I paid (and still tipped 20% by the way), I noticed that she charged us $7.50 for cake.... and the icing on the cake.... she never brought us any of the damn cake! I haven't been to Ruby Tuesday in many years. I'm going to make this real simple. The food was TERRIBLE!!! I ordered my steak medium well....no pink. I ordered mashed potatoes and broccoli! The manager didn't take responsibility for anything when he came to my table. He actually was saying that I didn't order my steak right. He also said that the mashed potatoes, that didn't have any flavor, were homemade and that's why they were lumpy. I said my homemade mashed potatoes are never lumpy. He replied because I mashed them. C'mon Ruby Tuesday do better. The menu is super busy and complicated. There are too many selections and too chaotic. I didn't even realize before it was too late they had a 2 for 25 meal deal..then they had music playing but apparently one of the employees felt it didn't suit her vibe and proceeded to turn it off. The food was lackluster. 23 bucks for small pieces of shrimp stuffed with crab and a measly serving of "rice pilaf" i don't know what was going on with the cooking that day but my husband and I didn't even eat together because our food came out at separate times. He was nearly done when I got mine ans they said they were waiting on fries that weren't even piping hot upon delivery. Then when we paid the bill the first choice for a tip is 18% although u can pick other options i feel like that is a lot when the service and food aren't that great to begin with. There have been quite a few bad reviews of this particular Ruby Tuesday, but I decided to try it out anyway since recent reviews seemed promising. Food/Drink: Salad Bar: Exceptional, very well maintained. Plenty of offerings plus some extras like pasta salad, broccoli salad, etc. Plus, can we have a moment for the croutons? Am I the only one who could eat an entire plate of them? Ruby Cheeseburger: Well seasoned, cooked to my preference, and accompanied by some well-cooked crispy tater tots. Top Sirloin 6oz: This is what my friend ordered and she said it was tender, well cooked, maybe verging on a little too salty, but overall great. Strawberry lemonade: I used to be able to down these as a kid, but they are extremely sweet as an adult. I was on the verge of asking for water to dilute it, but if you're in the mood for a strong sour/sweet combo, this is the ticket. Atmosphere: There hasn't been much of a change in atmosphere since I was a child, and I think overall they should think about updating a little bit; this is more of a franchise complaint than this particular store-- they have no say on what the décor is. Service: Service was a little slow initially, but they seemed understaffed and rather busy, so I'm not going to calculate that into the score. The manager also said hello to us and took some finished plates off our table, which was nice to see. Have you ever wanted to experience the feeling of eating out at such a nasty restaurant, you'll wish they gave you a z-pack with your check after the meal? If so, you should head on down to Ruby Tuesday's in Elyria! Stopped in here with my mom recently. The parking lot had more potholes than there are holes in your average slice of Swiss cheese. A sign we missed of the horrors awaiting us inside... Walking in, the front waiting area smelled strongly of ribs and barbecue sauce...to the point where it was nauseating. (How is that even possible?!) Once seated, I noticed the table next to us needed cleaning underneath. Looked like the patrons used Parmesan cheese as confetti. The smashed particles look...gross. The atmosphere is interesting. I'm not sure what direction they were going for. It was like the 80s, 90s, and 00s threw up in there--and not the more stylish parts. I totally forgot they made plastic table cloths with felt on the underside. Haven't seen one of those babies since 2003! Adding to the ambiance were unruly children and grown men loudly blowing their nose. (This happens anywhere.) The food was lackluster at best. My soup spoon was sticky on the underside, and I noticed after eating it that the crackers I was given were recycled from another patron...the wrapper had dried soup on them that was NOT mine. My mom ordered a steak dinner. The steak was puny and dry...and the baked potato tasted dirty and old. She did enjoy the salad bar. I didn't take advantage of it; it was too close to the entrance and therefore not appetizing to me. My mom also stated that there were no locks on the bathroom doors. She also witnessed an employee not washing their hands after using the restroom next to her. We didn't stay for dessert, and I didn't order a cocktail I had been eyeing. Based on our experience (as well as plenty of Facebook reviews stating the drinks totally sucked), we weren't missing out on anything there. After visiting this Ruby Tuesday's, it was immediately clear to me why so many of them in the Northeast Ohio area shuttered...and it's mind boggling to me how this one is still operating! Ruby Tuesday is a casual restaurant with the 80's feel. They are known for their Garden Bar, and it was well stocked. Their Saturday special is well worth it. If you get and entree, then for a small fee you can have unlimited trips to the Garden Bar. Although we didn't need much service, our waitress was great. I would have to honestly say that everything on the menu looked appetizing. All from their appetizers, entrees, and to their desserts. If you are looking for a casual restaurant that won't break the bank, then Ruby Tuesday would be a great option. read more

Ruby Tuesdays used to be the place to go, what with that awesome salad bar and quality meals, you couldn't go wrong. Initially after the pandemic closures were lifted, it appeared that the entire establishment was in the toilet including the scarce salad bar that was poorly tended. I've been back a couple of times this year (because it was a family favorite for over a decade) and the salad bar is back to being the jewel in Ruby's crown...but the food...not so much. I had the Bacon Club the other day and I've never regretted a purchase so much. It's supposed to be a BLT on Texas toast with a signature sauce. The key word is Bacon right? Imagine receiving 2 3/4" thick dry toasted (no butter anywhere) slabs of "Texas toast" with 3 undercooked, anemic slices of bacon, a slice of undersized, over ripe tomato and shredded lettuce. The sauce? I think they ran out because I received the equivalent of bottle scrapings on my very dry sandwich. It wasn't a bacon club, it was a bread sandwich with lots of lettuce, a suspect tomatoe, a whisper of sauce and the fond memory of bacon. You literally couldn't taste bacon because the bacon (1/8") to bread (1.5") ratio was so far off! I paid $10 for that...there's more meat (and substance) in a Whopper and that costs less than $10! Who ever is doing up the menu isn't eating the food, that's for sure! My poor daughter got the strawberry lemonade and she cut it with 2 glasses of water I her attempt to tamp down the over sweet syrupy taste! That's not refreshing! We all got a mug of lemonade after her attempts and they were all extremely sweet despite the watering down. Is there a quality control guideline for the drinks or are they prepared to the preference of the preparer? I don't recommend their lemonades unless you want to fast track your way to diabetes! The salad bar is phenomenal though...not sure if it's worth $12, but it's not a hard sell when you see all they have to offer on it. I'd recommend Ruby Tuesdays for the salad bar, not much else though. Sad, because it used to be our favorite place for family dinners. read more

I am not a chain restaurant person, but friends wanted to stop after the movies. Our server was quick to take our drink order and gave us time with the menu. I ordered a margarita and I have to say it was lousy. I don't think there was any tequila and it was extremely sour. My friends had the rose sangria and enjoyed it. Went to this location for lunch. Enjoyed the fully stocked, exceptionally clean salad bar and an order of ribs. The choices on the salad bar were great...lots of the basics but many, many other different additions. There is pasta salad, potato salad, corn salad, coleslaw and the homemade croutons. Shan manages to keep the salad bar in top shape. The ribs were meaty and I asked for the 'sassy' sauce which is my favorite. They were delicious! The service was really good. Angela was attentive, kept our glasses full, made sure we had what we needed and had a smile at each opportunity. Manager Josh stopped at the table to say hello and check on things. Went to Ruby Tuesdays Thursday about 1pm. Not to crowded but the hostess walked past us twice without looking at us then asked if we wanted a table. We'll duh! We said yes. There were 4 of us standing there now going on 5 minutes as she walked away. She came back and asked how many!!! We said 4 and she walked into the kitchen. She came back 3-4 minutes later grabbed menus and without saying a word started to walk away. We looked at each other at asked each other if we should follow we were not sure but we did. She put the menus on the table and walked away without saying a word. We almost walked out but we had a doctors appointment down the street and were in a hurry. This mean uncaring lady had pink and purple hair and didn't give a #!?=# if we ate there or not. Our waitress Arwen was there right away. Got our drinks immediately then took our orders. One salad bar, good except dressing were not labeled except for 3. One pasta, large and hot and good and quesadillas good too. But the medium hamburger was almost raw. We ate the edges and left the middle. Did not have time to send it back in order to make our doctors appointment. Things started out so rocky not being greeted and seated in an in polite manner we just let it go knowing we will never be coming back. We used to love this place. What a poor attitude. Went to your store in Elyria, Ohio. Clean store and Angela M. was super friendly and helpful. Food was less than average. I ordered diet coke and it's not diet coke. It might be a diet cola. It was flat and sugary. Waitress replaced it w ice tea.  Second strike were freezer burned tater tots. I was so excited. They have snow crab legs now! So I ordered them. Got no crackers, no little forks. Ok wait until you hear this. All of the crab legs were rolled around in butter.
