The Corn beef egg roll were good, but of course I just didn't read well enough to see it came with potatoes in them which was different (I'm not a big potato fan) but they were interesting I would absolutely recommend trying them they came with a 1000 island sauce but I used a spicy ranch dressing awesome match! I'm at the outdoor bar. Only female at the bar. Took a bit for the bartendress to even notice me. Got my double Tito's because she clearly didn't have time for me to ask a question. After long deliberation I decided to order food because I was hungry. I ordered a wedge salad for 9.00. Would not order again. Who uses bacon bits these days? Had a good lunch earlier this week. They have a great patio other than all the bees. The food was delicious. We ordered to jumbo soft pretzels as an appetizer. The pretzels did not take long to come out. They were soft and tasted fresh. I had the wright boy burger. The burger had four slider patties, shredded lettuce, American cheese, and their special sauce. The burger also came with a side of fries and cole slaw. The burger was delicious. The patties were juicy and flavorful. The fries were fantastic. The cole slaw lacked some flavor and was just ok. Overall a good experience. read more

I really love this place but......... as someone in the food business for over 40 years I got to say..... you really need to revamp your management. The menu is good but food NOT CONSISTENT. I think you know this. We had a bar maid last night , very nice lady with long brown hair . Very apologetic even when not necessary. But I see you have kids in the kitchen . Kids equal inconsistency. I'm coming back I always do but I want to see the place full again. If you're going to charge 33.00 for wings, don't charge 1.50 for celery and or blue cheese dressing ! It's petty ! It's a given at any other restaurant, I promise you. Also...... I ordered a turkey Ruben sandwich, comes with chips not fries for 14.00. I think you can do better than that, I expected a sandwich, I got a tiny Mich on a lunch plate as it would have looked even more rediculous on a dinner plate as I refused the chips and went with sharing my husbands basket of fries. ( still fully charged ) . I never eat that many fries but because the sandwich was so small ( the size of a McDonald's burden bun) I was hungry. I hadn't eaten all day, I buy that rye bread you use all the time and it shrinks with toasting 30% , gets really small. Perhaps start trying out a diff bread because I also got the end of the loaf which is even smaller, below you will see my palm sized sandwich as I did take a picture of it to back my claim . Again I will be back but I will never get that sandwich again . Ever . I already don't get the mesculine salad anymore because of inconsistency before . Get rid of that extra charge for blue cheese , it's lame as wing's is traditional with blue cheese. Make your own and refrigerate it if it's cheaper ( as it is) and it will be better . Always include celery ( and a consistent amount ) if your customer buys the bigger wing order don't still hand them 1 ranch or blue cheese , don't make them ask for more then charge another 1.50 , It's cheap of you and drives customers away and lessons your servers tips ( yes it does allllll that) I think you know this already . I've seen your business go way down and I know you can do better . But someone doesn't care. Your business is a great spot and your food is good but requires these things to get customers back. Horrible service n attitude from snotty servers. Admittedly I forgot to ask for Mayo when we made an earlier request. I apologized and asked for it after she brought other item. She glaringly rolled her eyes at me and was blatantly obvious about it. I acknowledged seeing her and responded with "you need not roll your eyes at me!" Got the nachos which seem to be under the warmer for way too long the cheese was no longer melted and was just kind of glued on, chicken was dry and lacking flavor, and the nachos were stale. Went there Thursday afternoon 10/26/ around 1:00 for lunch. The server Ashley ,was from the start not friendly. No hello, no smile, no personality. As I watched her she was like that basically to everyone. What a shame as I enjoy this place and the food. The two other servers were the same. Standing bitch face and one even was rude to a customer when they questioned something about what they ordered. I have had her before in the afternoon, same bitch face. Last time I will come there for lunch. When we were done eating, I needed a to go box. It was 20 minutes before she asked if we needed anything else. Overall not a great experience. Beers were not cold, fries were not hot and buns tasted stale. The server wasn't terrible as the food but when we mentioned the issues to the manager he complained that with all the people on unemployment he couldn't keep the restaurant staffed. We have come here numerous times and it's always a hit or miss. I've gotten a good amount of things on this menu but if you go here, only order the wings. They are good and juicy and definelty the best thing on the menu. I recently went and got a burger with mushrooms and onions on it. The burger you could tell was frozen. It was over cooked, had no flavor, and was very chewy. We also got the onion rings that were just medicore. The waitress we had too wasn't all that pleasant which didn't make it any better. They have a good selection of beer and alcohol and a ton of TVs so good if you want to watch sports. My only suggestion is don't go here if you want amazing food. read more

We waited for 40 minutes for our food. Turns out the server never put our order in, nor did she ever check on it to see why it was so late. The place was almost empty yet another server (not ours) asked us if we ordered food. Her name is Laurie. She got the ball going. The server apologized but let's face it, with so few customers, we should have seen her constantly. I was bragging about the place however, I had egg on my face. The server brought over a shot glass and said a drink was on her. The 'upstairs' is a bar wrapping around tv's and is perfect for watching the game along with additional seating around the bar. The bottom area is just a long bar that leads to the bar outside. I really don't have a preference, just as long as the beer is cold and the food is good. Pretty sure there is a juke box, there was a lobster machine but think that might have disappeared. Staff: Waitstaff and bartenders are attentive, and have been with the WP business for quite some time. They are friendly MOST of the time. This place is a must stop for me. The wife and I were out for a mid-week motorcycle ride and decided to stop in for a late afternoon beverage and snack. We decided to sit outside; after a brief moment the standoffish bartender came to the table and asked what we wanted to drink. Then I asked if they had a menu. She pointed to the other end of the table and said, "they're right there" and turned and walked away. The waitress brought our drinks and asked us what we wanted . Sliders and French fries. Waiting for our food, we witnessed the bartender take another order from a table walked back to the bar and begin to make fun of the older customers to a male customer sitting at the bar. A food runner- kitchen help brought our order; he was pleasant and speedy. I wanted ketchup for the fries, but the bottle was empty. No one came to the table to see if everything was ok and check to see if we needed another drink. They were super slow and the help was interested in playing on their phones and smoking right off the deck. As for food quality, the French fries were fresh cut, hot and plentiful. Very good. This is a pretty run-of-the-mill bar & grille. The food is fine, but nothing special. The beer selection is decent but not great. I have been here a few times and it is always very clean-- a GOOD sign in my eyes! What caused me to give a 2 star rating and not a 3 star? The staff. Don't get me wrong- they are pleasant, friendly and moderately attentive, but unless the place is busy, I feel like I just walked in on their group break-time. They all gather at the far end of the bar and talk about who was cut on what night and how dead it was on such-and-such an evening. This isn't just 2 employees chatting...recently it was 5 staff members sitting/standing around BS-ing. We felt like intruders into their private party. Stopped by here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night. Typical suburban bar setup and menu. Bar was unusually loud but after too many beers that is to be expected. I ordered a burger with cheddar cheese and sauteed mushrooms and my companions ordered wings and we shared spinach and artichoke dip and mozzarella sticks. Spinach dip was good and the mozzarella sticks were alright. The issue was with my burger. It was charred beyond recognition. Stopped in The Wright Place for a birthday party the other night and was surprised to see how nice it is since it was renovated. That renovation took place years ago, if that tells you how often I make it to The Wright Place. In my younger days, I spent a lot of time on their now nicely remodeled (and usable in the winter) patio, but after a friend started and then stopped dating a member of the kitchen staff, I had no real reason to go back. But seeing how nice the place is now, I'd definitely go back. The two main bar areas are exactly the same as I remember them, but the incredibly large outdoor patio area - that's gated in by garage doors in the winter (and is Africa hot thanks to a couple amazing heaters) - adds another nice and kind of unique space to the bar area. This weekends stop on our pick a spot. The decor of this place is nice, just what you would expect from a nice bar. Wood bar, warm environment, lots of tv's, kitchy art up on the walls... the norm. That being said my wife and I ordered an appetizer, a meal each, and some wings (the menu leads you to believe that these things are to die for). Just for those who will go there in the future, there are other ways to do nachos besides throwing a bunch of chips on a plate then pilling onions, olives, jalapeños, and cheese all over them. If your going to feature something and suggest it to new comers to your restaurant, you may want to make it something rememberable. The meals were just straight bland. My wife had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (which it was nice to see it was a butterflied piece of chicken breast, i.e. fresh) and I had there Stacker (panini). My wife's' food was fine, nothing special. The only problem was that the coleslaw was so wet that it was dripping liquified mayonnaise onto the bun, the breading, everything. Unfortunately mine was as well. Wet, soggy italian bread soaked in liquid mayo... enough said. The wings were just wings. Fried, sauced, and served.
