Why do restaurant managers all too often allow loud, screaming, obnoxious customers to carryon to the absolute discomfort of other diners? A number of friends have recommended LIno's as being a good bar that is customer friendly and has good food. I just left there and am still disturbed by my experience there. It was a Saturday night around dinner time and I was looking forward to just a burger and a beer. The place was only about a quarter filled with plenty of seats at the bar. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired. I sat down at the bar and the bartender without the slightest bit of friendliness or smile just asked what do I want? I ordered a beer and a menu. There was a high top table behind me that had 4 or 5 couples that were loud. Sorry, let me say they were screaming, yelling and carrying on louder than I ever heard a group in a bar. The women were the loudest just screaming louder and louder. Suffice it to say I did not order and could not even finish half of my beer. I asked for the check and the bartender gave a knowing look as if to say "they are kind of loud". Why the heck can't a manager ask a group to quiet down and show some courtesy to other customers? Maybe the food is good there but why patronize a business if disgusting behavior if allowed to affect others? Lino's? NEVER AGAIN. read more

My favorite local dive bar!! Hands down the best wings in NEO. They are crispy and saucy and delicious. Can't say enough about them. Your typical small town dive bar vibes -- a bar with stools and some tables and chair options. They also offer a patio area in the warmer months. My family and I have been coming here for years to celebrate birthdays, graduations, etc. and we've had Lino's cater several of our events. They have the best wings!! They're always fresh and extra crispy, and I love their hot garlic Parmesan and hot BBQ flavors. I also love their mini corn dogs -- the honey mustard dipping sauce is delicious. The bartenders are usually pretty friendly and quick to get your order. They do get busy during game days so plan accordingly. We've never had to wait long when placing carry out orders and have never had an issue finding a table when needed. read more

This is one of the best local sports bar watering holes, in my humble opinion they have the best wings anywhere. Tall glasses of domestic draft beer for a very reasonable price and the bar tenders are some of the best around. Came here for a Sunday bite to eat. For Pete's Sake....this place is A-OK!!!! It's super clean from what I can tell. The staff is nice and the food does not suck. The price for drinks for food is really, really reasonable. Bathrooms - I feel like most bathrooms are designed by men. No room to enter the stall and exit comfortably. I'd give this place more stars if I could but customer service for this last visit was a huge fail. We have been there several times and the food was good. This last trip, we ordered the "sizzle steaks" ~ an 8 oz. steak (which we have had before and enjoyed) but the server encouraged us to order the 12-oz steak because she said "it was meatier and thicker". What a mistake. My steak was fairly good; my friend's steak was full of gristle. He could not eat even half of it. When we brought it to her attention, she took $2 off the $12 steak. She should have either ordered him another or at least reduced the steak by half. We won't be ordering that again. What a huge disappointment. I have only been here 1 time to meet some like minded degenerate people for dinner and a drink. Steak and salad, is what I was craving. Well check this shit OUT, Lino's executes an amazing concept, the serve a steak salad. You do not have to order a steak and a salad. Bazinga. And it was nothing short of amazballs. Went with my family of 40, I myself got the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of Mozzarella Sticks. However;that's not important. That meal is amazing they nailed it but what caught my attention was the cup of Marinara Sauce I got with the meal that I ordered to go after attending the restaurant. That cup of sauce fell down an entire flight of my steps and never popped open didn't even spill a drop! This place checked all 3 bullet points for me which is really important. I've worked next door to Lino's for a little over a month and I regret not ordering lunch from there sooner. I'm not the social type so drinking at a bar really isn't my thing. However the food is great, especially for the price. I got a bangin burger and some crisp fries for under ten bucks. The burger had that delicious crusty surface that only comes from being on a grill. Props to the chef, they have the patience to let the sucker sit on the first side for a while. I was thrown out of the bar by a rude bartender who talked trash to me when I asked for my bill. i had a disagreement with another patron and tried diffusing it twice. Nice, friendly little neighborhood bar. They have a lot to offer. Darts, Corn hole, DJ on the weekends with a dance floor. It's a big place. Parking out back. Seems like a place where the barkeep gets to know you. Staff was very friendly. Come watch a game or play one; lots of entertainment here. Not fancy. Went here and sat at a table for about 15 minutes. No one came up to us. Two bartenders stood behind the bar helping no one and doing nothing. So we got up and left and will never come back. I guess the servers are just so lazy that they can't walk out from behind a bar when it's not busy. That's pretty entitled of them and it makes me wonder if the prisoners are running the prison in this establishment. The owner lost my money now and in the future. Firstly, just be glad I am not adding photos. The bathroom door alone looked like 200 sticky toddlers draw pics in the grime on the door (blech). Here is our experience: We walk in...sit at a table ...because we have been up since 4am then...to an all day expo...then about an hour of fishing....I had eaten a half of a hamburger all day...we were tired and starving. Before it can come out of my mouth my guy says "Yes, we would like drinks and is the kitchen open? At this point he is trying to be friendly even though we are both exhausted... I have a chronic condition that makes me extremely tired ...and today...I was dead on my feet- but hungry and not wanting to make anything at home. "Yes we would please." He says...she gets two drinks sets them on the bar across the room and leaves them there. 5 minutes pass... sigh...still sitting there... Listen: We had been here before and played a game of keno and had wings and it was nice...maybe we had a different lady working last night? Maybe they turned the place into a barber shop instead of food and drinks- maybe we walked into the twilight zone? Maybe we were on one of those hidden shows like "What would you do?" She says to my guy... "You want food?" Still shouting across the room... "A menu would be nice..." he says. "Ok but you have to give me a credit card first." Yup...she just told him if he wants anything he has to give her HIS credit card to HOLD until we were done. (Does no one take cash anymore?) Him: I've never gave you a credit card to hold any other time we were here- we have gotten wings etc.," At this point I am heading to the bathroom because I can see the steam building around his head...and i know there is no way on earth he is giving his credit card to someone to hold while he eats....*shaking my head.* As I come out of the bathroom- he is waiting and says "We are done here." Fine with me...I was done 5 seconds after she opened her mouth. We went to Willowick restaurant and lounge on Euclid Ave. Had a chicken salad each...played a game of keno...boxed what we didn't eat and headed home. I would suggest going there for a neighborhood place- they are always friendly and even kind. Definitely NOT going back to Linos. Oh..not done yet. When I went into bathroom at Linos- I used the potty...thought it was one of those toilets that flushed itself cause it had a little hole looking thing- it was hard to see...dark in there (Thank G*D). It was because the handle was literally ripped off and placed on top of the tank... nope not touching it... I washed hands and was out the bathroom door....and...there now we are caught up. All I can say is yuck, bluck phooey...if you could give no stars I would. PS: They actually serve food...or so we thought. read more

I called and someone picked up the phone, told me to wait, and then never came back to the phone. I have started frequenting Lino's more and more the past year. The food is excellent, at a very reasonable price. The staff is extremely polite and personable. The staff does an excellent job serving with limited personnel, unlike similar and mismanaged establishments in the area that limit hours and raise prices due to worker shortage. I have seen one server effectively tend a full bar and occupied tables. Lino's has his own unique chicken wing recipe that is excellent. The salads are excellent with no skimping of ingredients. Lino's is open 365 days per year. Lino maintains a very decent clientele and does not tolerate misbehavior. Lino's also has a great patio. I cannot think of anything negative about Lino's read more

Lino's is funny. Its like a wannabee night club on the weekends but not many people show up....except me of course. It has a long bar and lots of table seating. They put up a heated butt hut for you smokers during the winter months. Lot's of beers on tap and they serve a full menu. I have only gotten deep fried goodies there and their mussels once. Its what you would expect when walking into a place like this. They have Keno and a juke, I also think they may have scratch-offs but you might not want to take my word on that one. They do have a couple dart boards, steel tip, and I think there is also a pool table, yeah, pretty sure there is. They also have a patio but I don't see that being used that much during the summer. There was about six of us that entered the bar on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered beers from the bar with the intention of sitting at a table and ordering food. When asking the bartender for menus, she gave us one and told us we had to order from the bar. Five minutes later, two other couples sat down at tables and the bartender left the bar and served them food and drink, but not us. As a server, I found this astounding. Nice place to hang out. Patrons seem like a good bunch. However I would never suggest this place to anyone. Went there for a birthday party and was having a good time. We were requesting music that we wanted to hear. The bartender decided to march up to the DJ and demand him to play some songs. When the DJ let her know that people had been requesting songs her reply was that "they could suck her D@ck". I didn't know the DJ was there for the purpose of entertaining the bartenders. I can understand wanting to hear songs, and even not liking the songs that were being played. To make remarks in front of the customers is extremely rude. Our party had been tipping all night long, and leaving very good ones at that. After the comments we finished our drinks and decided to go somewhere else. The tips went down after that because of her rude comments. The bartender then confronted several people in our party about the tips, and basically told them not to return. She told the party how they "slaved" for us. Blaming us for not leaving anymore good tips. After learning about the rude comments she should not have continued to argue with us. I would have apologized and went to the bartender who had the bad attitude. She's the reason you lost money. Not us. Put blame where it belongs. She also didn't need to tell us not to come back.
