Hot garlic Parm wings. All drums. Fan freaking tastic
    Todd G.

They have blatz and heilemans old style. I've been here a couple of times and they call themselves a dive bar which they may indeed be. But that's not a slam in any way. We stopped at Tuesday night and the place was packed it was wing night 75 cent wings but yes I'm old enough to remember when they were 10 cent wings LOL. Our server, Tatum had waited on us before and it was nice to see they don't rotate through employees. As we mentioned we got a couple blatz beers, and ordered some cheese curds çevappi and nachos. Yes we eat everything and we're disgusted with ourselves because we ate everything LOL! Food wait times are just a few minutes as busy as they were. The wings were all drums so if you're a flat fan you might be out of luck I don't know if they had flats maybe they did maybe they didn't but I like drama so I didn't care. We took the King's corner which is a large table and is right by this vending machine that sold those rip and tear lotto tickets which people are addicted to it was kind of fun watching people win a couple hundred bucks. Overall music was a nice background they had a hockey game on TV overall which is a great place to hang out. The City also made the road in front of Crowley's a one-way Street which allowed for more parking. Overall I really enjoy this place.

What an awesome addition to Painesville. This is Crowley's newest restaurant making 3 total locations. This bar has dive bar vibes and makes awesome food. They are famous for their smash burgers but for our first visit to this location we tried their fish sandwich and po boy. Both sandwiches were served with crispy French fries and were absolutely divine. The service we received from our bartender was amazing and we had no complaints. If you're ever in the Painesville area definitely pay a visit to Crowleys, you won't regret it.

Burger, wings, and pretzel were reported as good! Fries were not shoestring and the hotdog ordered online was the wrong hotdog provided in order. So check your orders before leaving establishment. Will attempt to eat in next time to give this place another chance.

Oh the smash burgers exceeded expectations! Our waitress was so sweet and courteous and really helpful! The inside is decorated with a combo of Irish and Croatian flags, 5 large screen TVs and a big bar, lots of tables and boothes to eat.

Good food and ambience. Beer selections are unique! Service was exceptional. Parking needs some work though!

Walked in and walked back out. Not our kind of place. Seemed to be more of a Country/Western vibe.

When you pull up it looks like a dive from the 1960's or a small Soviet bloc, not many windows and just a square little building, but you come inside and the people are inviting and friendly and the food is out of this world. Their toilet has an awesome Andrew Warhol version of Misney there which is just a chefs kiss added touch to this place. 5 stars hands down

So I hate to have to post this, but the last few times have been very disappointing…read more We were just there on 7/26. It was good to see the owner on his hands and knees cleaning a cooler. The intention was to move the inventory around that was more convenient for the staff. That was a long time coming. The coolers were packed and never looked appealing. Not sure why our bartender had to ask about the change? We sat close to the door at the bar. Not sure where the occasional weed smell was coming from? It doesn't bother me, but others get offended by it. Maybe it's not good to have this odor while people are eating dinner? Does the staff look the other way on this? Not sure what our server's name was? We are not regulars. She seemed newer, but I did recognize the other. And when our server spoke loudly her voice was annoyingly squeaky, mini mouse like. She's where our problem begins. I ordered the hot dog special and asked if I could sub tater tots for fries. She said sure. When I received the check, I noticed a $3 upcharge for the tots and questioned it. Without even thinking about it she replied with this, "I told you there was a charge" and immediately disappeared from behind the bar. I asked my wife what she said when I gave my order. My wife's response was that she said "sure" and never said anything about an upcharge. She had all the signs of a habitual liar. No thought was put into her answer even though our initial conversation took place about 45 minutes earlier. Now to the restaurant. Fries and tater tots are the same price on the menu. The hot dog special comes with fries, so why is there a $3 upcharge? Fries are $7 and tots are $7. Again, why is there an upcharge when they are priced the same? The tots didn't come with Cleveland ketchup, so why? How many other customers are surprised by the $3 charge? Typically, hot dogs come with chopped onions, so I'm not sure why I had to pay .75 extra for a side of them? But I was also charged $1 for a side of mayo. Are you kidding me? A condiment has a price? It wasn't listed on your menu previously. I can't help but wonder. Since you guys claim to be a dive bar, wouldn't serving packets of mayo be more fitting? Now I know I could have taken all of this up with the owner, but a lying bartender would have defended herself and I wasn't in the mood. After thinking about this for a few days, I felt this was the best way to address it. When you nickel dime your customers, you are not a dive bar, you are cheap owners that only care about your finances and building more establishments. Now my only regret looking back was leaving about a 14% tip. I should not have left $3 and change. That way maybe the liar could think about the upcharge? Or is she even competent enough? Now on a previous evening, I ordered Cevapi. It wasn't very tasty and served on a pita. That isn't authentic Croation. I understand here in the USA, it might be acceptable. But when I can get it at Rose's in Eastlake on lipinja and the sausage has outstanding flavor, I think Crowley's could be a little more authentic to your heritage. Your heritage is displayed on the front of the building, isn't it? And your sausage did not have good flavor. Family of your ownership group asked me what I thought of the Cevapi. They didn't seem surprised when I told them and their response was that the sausage wasn't fresh, that's why the taste wasn't that good. Wait a minute, not fresh? Are you buying that much bulk that you can't provide fresh food for your customers? And the pita? Their was response to that was that some people serve it that way. I've been to the Eastlake Crowley's a few times and if you like biker bars with sleezy bar staff, that's the place for you. I went to Lake and that shouldn't be a good reason to support your businesses. I would be looking the other way. We have decided that we will never go back to any of your establishments in DTW, any of your so-called dive bars or your new venture in Irish cuisine. Irish? I wonder what will be authentic there?

It's been around for a hundred years I'm kidding maybe not but the sign up front is faded and it's a working man's bar. They do have food in there standard bar Fair but what really gets me is the price of the drinks. I had two Coors lights and one bullet bourbon on the rocks and my bill was $10. That coupled with I took over the jukebox and played all the music I wanted to hear that I didn't have to talk to anybody or make any small talk. The place is dark a little run down but otherwise I really enjoy going there. The bartender is as nice as could be. She will put whatever you want to watch on the TV. I hate to post a review like this for fear that people will actually go to my hidden gem and ruin it but I don't care it's freaking awesome and everyone should go there.

This is like the common watering hole where all animals bow their heads…read more I've heard some very negative comments of all kinds and for what my opinion matters here it is. As far as racism is concerned, this is probably the most least racist bar I have ever been to. It doesn't matter if you're gay or black or Mexican or Chinese or Indian or purple or green or orange, the only time you're gonna get static from anyone is if you pick on the innocent or are not kind to animals. Good and bad bartenders come and go just like good and bad clientele but if you become a familiar face, you can build friendships that have a positive effect on you and people around you. I can bear witness to a lot of joy and acceptance of people for who they are. It can be called the dive bar, but I find that truly everyone is treated equal, So sit down, chill out, live love and laugh, and by the way, the bathrooms are very clean and everybody watches out for each other so don't be an asshole. You'll have a much better time.

Its like Moe's Tavern from The Simpsons was alive and well in Mentor Ohio. It's even like Barney the sad drunk sleeping in the bar was intentionally placed inside this building. This place truly is a shot and beer bar that you do not bring a date to. There is a stripper pole and lights / dancing stage in the corner that is meant for ladies and ladies only. The drinks are ridiculously cheap so if your only goal is to sit by yourself and get drunk on 10 bucks this is the place to do it in. There are naked girlie calendars on the wall, bras and underwear stapled to the roof and walls, the pool table a decent jukebox but I'm pretty sure you can catch some sort of disease from out of the restroom or the floor. So if you have a bunch of fellas that want to sit down grab a quick beer parking is easy drinks are cheap but you'll probably not find very many ladies here but that's okay. Give it a shot I have been in much worse.
