    Overall, good food and service - would return. We had a large group at lunch time on a Wednesday. Service was smooth with quickly getting drinks, taking orders, and with food coming out. Most of us at our end had salads. The beet salad with added chicken was very good. Most beet salads a don't have a lot of greens, but this was more greens with some beets. Nice ratio! Other favorites were the wedge salad with steak. We also had an order of fries and tater tots for our side of the table. Fries were good, reliable fries. The tater tots are very different than typical tater totes. They had seasoning and different texture than I've seen other places. It reminded us of the flavor of potato pancakes.

    Went with the kids after a long day of traveling. Everything was great. From the tater tots to the burger. The kids loved their chicken fingers and rigatoni, I had the smash burger which was exactly what I wanted. Service was perfect with great recommendations on food that we all liked and recommendation on a local beer. Felt warm and cozy in the restaurant, great for a nice, relaxed dinner.

    Weird experience for me. Just a different one I guess.. I don't eat seafood but I think when you can smell it very strongly in the parking lot, that's not a good sign? Idk though... I mean I can see if it were a restaurant specializing in seafood but I don't think that they are. So when you walk into a restaurant you step up to the greeter stand; do you A. Wait for them to great you B. Immediately say "party of two" Well we waited, then the gentleman said "what can I help you with?" I was totally caught off guard; am I in a department store or a restaurant...Food, a table... Very hard getting over the strong seafood smell. I would imagine this may be fine for people that eat it but I am highly allergic to it. This was the plan for today so we ordered reluctantly from the happy hour menu. The choices seemed exciting enough but we were extremely underwhelmed. This post is long enough. We won't go back.

    Stopped here for dinner while visiting family. It had a great ambiance and vibe. We ordered the cauliflower bites as an appetizer and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet and spicy hili sauce. It was packed with flavor and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly. For my entree, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan which good but lacked a lot of flavor. Our server wasn't the friendliest or attentive, had to ask him twice to refill our water glasses because he forgot and he didn't seem to want engage when we asked him questions about the menu.

    I went here for lunch with co workers. The word tavern is a little under stated for this restaurant. It is a very nice up scale "tavern". Decor is amazing, lodge like, open air seating and airy in the dinning area. I had the lunch chili with half a tavern smashed burger, Fantastic. I think it is really a whole smashed burger with only half the bun!!!! Prices reflect the quality, and decor.

    I was visiting family in the Solon area over memorial weekend and had dinner at Burntwood tavern on night. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and and a great patio area. We were there on Memorial Day so maybe not the best day for judging a restaurant as many staff way down for slower business. Our server did a great job food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen. We had a blackened salmon salad , fish and chips , the smoked wings and an app of house made tots. When the food arrived it was presented nicely and everything tasted good nothing exceptional but a solid meal. I will give it another shot being that the day was not the best to create an opinion from

    Location: 2291 Riverfront Pkwy, Cuyahoga Falls OH Website: https://www.burntwoodtavern.com/cuyahoga-falls Found this gem located with a great view of the falls and enjoyed a few beers during Happy Hour on a Saturday afternoon. A very nice selection of drafts (10-14 varieties), cocktail list, and wine list available. We skipped any food - but the menu is varied with some nice starters, salads, sandwiches, and entrees. The service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant, bar, balcony, and patio are beautiful. Tips: 1). Sit in the bar or on the balcony for the best views. 2) Consider Happy Hour timing. 3) Worth finding this spot, whether you park on the upper level and descend the stairs to river level or find the path to park on the lower level.

Also be prepared to sit at the bar- this place is very tiny. The vibe is nice. Low ceiling, dimly lit, comfortable cozy. The server/ bartender (I'm pretty sure she was running the whole place) Nikki, was phenomenal. So friendly, good drinks. We started with the oysters which were good. The mignonette sauce was a little different, it had lemon zest in it. It was very good! But the give you laughable amount. Like, a splash. Then we had the fig and prosciutto toast. This was the highlight for us. Tasty all the way around, 4 generous servings on the plate. Jam was so good and the prosciutto was warmed up ever so slightly. I had the hangar steak with some unseasoned boiled carrots. The steak was tender and high quality, but I couldn't taste a bit of seasoning. Also served with a tiny crispy potato pancake. Husband had the halibut special. This had some wasabi crust and if you got a bite of the wasabi it was good. The bites that weren't crusted were boring fish. Again, very fresh and prepared well. Black rice and asparagus also boring. I got a hint of lemon on one bite I tried. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which were charred along with the few pork belly pieces. Husband finished with a whiskey crème brûlée which he enjoyed. He did not, however, enjoy his Dark and Stormy. He said it was all booze and no beer or mix. Sadly, we won't be back.

So, this time I leave work to get there a little after 7p, let's say 7:10p. I now have become accustomed to asking what they have left, but usually closer to close which is 9p. This day I ask if they have brisket and they say no. The disappoint hit me. Mentally, I'm like, ...what? Why? You don't close for almost 2 hours. Why is a restaurant known for its brisket, out of brisket so early? They actually tried to cross sell me on ribs, but there's no pork on my fork. Who responsible for the amount of food prepped each day? Do they not care about losing the business? I pulled off and who knows if I'll be back. It's a toxic relationship.
