Good food and great service. Food was hot and fresh. Waitress was friendly. Wasn't near as busy as previous shop we tried.

Very nice to dine with the locals. Was up here for a swim clinic and stopped in. Clean, friendly and fast service came with delicious breakfast food. If in the area, will stop back in!

Friendly wait staff. Fun traditional 50s diner vibe. And typical diner fare with seasonal specials. We were here on a Saturday at 5:15p and were in and out in a half hour. Perfect for between soccer matches at Spire (only 8 minutes away).

Staying in the area and tried Mary's Diner for dinner. We liked it so much we came back for breakfast the next day! 50's style diner serves typical diner food but also small town restaurant style food. Delicious food and friendly service makes this a great place for the "regulars" and first time visitors alike. Highly recommend!

My friend and I were craving a Sunday morning brunch. However we had a dog with us. After searching for a pet friendly patio we decided to try Mary's Diner. My friend and I were the only people on the patio during our visit. So I was a little worried we might be neglected by our server. Thankfully that was not the case. our server checked on us frequently. For breakfast I ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes, sausage and hot chocolate. The pancakes were huge! I found the pancakes a little bland in the bites that didn't have blueberries. The pancaked needed about twice as many blueberries. Also the hot chocolate was very tasty especially with the thick whipped cream topping. Overall I was happy with my meal and experience. Not to mention the prices were really good.

this is an actual front end to a 1957 Chevrolet!!

We stopped here for lunch. Hubs got a cheese omelette with toast & hashbrowns. He said the omelette was very good; buttery & 'fluffy'. I had the Reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both were excellent. The sandwich is large & I ate half, packed the other half. The fries were fresh & had cinnamon butter to dip them in. Our server was excellent and the decor is very cute. It truly felt like we were having lunch in the local diner in the 50's. The jukebox was playing and the specials looked tempting. We may be back for supper soon!

The first thing I saw walking through the door was a framed TripAdvisor review that read, "The…read moreworst breakfast I've ever had." Right then I knew I was either about to have the worst breakfast of my life or one of the best stories. Thankfully, it was the latter. To the TripAdvisor reviewer, I only have one question. Did Gordon Ramsay personally cook breakfast for you every morning growing up? Because those are the only expectations that could possibly explain that review. This place is tiny, but that's exactly what makes it special. I felt like a regular before my coffee even had a chance to cool off. The owner, the servers, and even the folks in the kitchen made us feel like we'd been coming here for years. Sitting right next to our table was a plate of fake roaches and a pile of crooked silverware. Between that and all the hilarious signs and decorations covering the walls, I probably spent as much time looking around and laughing as I did eating. Every wall has something worth reading, and it's all part of the experience. The breakfast was fantastic, but honestly, that's not why I'll remember this place. A place that makes you laughh, treats you like family, and makes you feel like you belong before you've finished your first cup of coffee is much harder to find. Breakfast is simple, atmosphere is hard to achieve in today's society. The place has breakfast but delivers on culture and atmosphere. That's what makes it special. To the owners, thank you for proving that customer service isn't dead. You've created one of the most original restaurants I've ever visited. The food was excellent, but the experience is what I'll remember.

A fun and funky place for breakfast. It's small and you might share a table with other patrons but…read morethat's part of the ambience. Walls are plastered with funny sayings and the staff adds to the irreverent vibe by yelling out loud "if you're eating, hurry up and if you're done, get the hell out of here" when it's busy and people are waiting for a table. The food is as good as any greasy diner. Basic breakfast is filling and reasonably priced. Plastic silver ware and paper plates make it easy clean up for the staff. Just be sure you check your coffee cup for chips. I don't like drinking from a chipped cup or glass and it may actually be illegal to serve beverages in those. The waitress was nice and took mine back and brought me one without chips. Although I don't think the management cares to replace them. Coffee is serve yourself from a carafe on the table as is the water from a pitcher.

I wrote a review eight years ago and wanted to update. The guy I was dating (now I'm happily…read moresingle) is gone and this is a place I've ventured to many days on my own. I sit at the bar and enjoy a Wine Burger. Just... this is the BEST burger. They DO have wonderful food, and great specials- (of note the Pasta Sunday!) But then if I DON'T get the Wine Burger... I ask myself why didn't I just get the Wine Burger?! lol. To save my poor frazzled mind, that Burger- which is heaven on a plate -is a must. So now I order it and you can change the sides, add a salad- etc. But just get this scrumptious lil slice of Burger Heaven. The service is just fine, but it is slower-so you'll see me scrolling at the bar, yet the food is so worth it. The wine is sweet- as in sticky sweet so if you like the better wineries- Old Mill is those sweet comfort wines. I know what they have and when it's warmer I get a Grindstone Pink, but I like their Chardonnay. For this high palate wine drinker, it's mellow, soft and refreshing. Sure, it's not a high end fancy chard, but it's theirs and I love it. The atmosphere is rustic, cute, funky and casual. I love sitting outside too in the spring/summer. This is my spot. I'll bring friends visiting the area here (to get my Wine Burger- lol). What usually happens is that everyone orders something else and then my Wine Burger arrives. "Oh wow, that looks awesome." "I should've ordered that- maaaan that looks good!" "Hey you don't want to trade do you?" "Oooh! Can I try a little bite?!" No. Get your own. I warned you and I will fight you on this. lol! So go here and always get the wine burger and you'll leave with a tummy full of joy and a smile. This little place may not be a fancy, high end dining experience- but to me it's laid back, delicious- pure joy. It doesn't need fancy trappings or even expensive prices. It's home. Get a Wine Burger. Amen.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the area. The crab cakes were delicious. The Italian bread and…read morebalsamic vinegar were delicious also. The service was great and the ambiance was welcoming. We will definitely visit again.
