Along with standard salad bar options, there was also cole slaw, pasta salad, and homemade potato salad. The slaw was delicious and the potato salad even better. Soup came with our meals. We chose one each of the two options available, chicken noodle and stuffed pepper. The soups were average, but still good. The Rueben was phenomenal. Fresh corned beef was the star of the sandwich and I would highly recommend it. The hot beef was just okay and I would order something else next time, but that didn't stop me from eating almost all of it. With the addition of the green beans, it made for quite a meal. A slice of Reese's pie topped off the meal and it was as sweet as one would expect. Definitely a perfect end to a good meal. If you like homemade food at reasonable prices, this is the place for you. There are other, more upscale places nearby if you're stopping off of I-90. Definitely give Best Friends a try, though.
