I'm updating my review given the fact that there is finally more parking... behind the bar, down the hill, in the dirt, under the oak tree :) My two stars go to three given the fact my biggest complaint was the parking at night. I still don't find this place to be all that exciting and only go because my friends that live in P-Ville live down the street. read more

Great ambiance. Huge selection of beers on tap. Bartenders are super friendly and easy on the eyes. Always something to keep you entertained 7 days a week. Gets an unfair bad rep as an urban bar. Never seen an issue or felt uncomfortable here. Enjoy and judge for yourself. read more

This is NOT a place to hear great music and dance! Overcrowded, not enough seating. If your a THOT or HO this place is for you. The website needs to be updated to reflect what this place really is like. I guess the younger crowd would love it read more

My ex best friend worked here last year. She used to accept 8balls of coke from her regulars and snort with her co workers in the bathroom. She also, along with her 'friends' would pick up older men who frequented Spinners and take them for a ride in their cars if you catch my drift. This place is shady as shit. But the shots are just greeeeat. read more

Local indoor/outdoor bar went last night, bartender was cool since im not from the area i told him local beers but no IPA. He choose a good selection. You order food from a little window at the end of the bar, little dofferent but the wings where awsome and they had no probkem letting me try a few flavors. Generous portion on the side of fries and dipping sauce, alot of places only give you those tiny little cups. Overall good feel with a DJ pumpin out jams on a sunday read more

Worst bar & grill ever. This place has gone through 4 name changes that I've seen and this is the worst re-incarnation yet. Always under-staffed, as in there is usually one person working the bar. Took me 45 minutes to get a grilled cheese sandwich. The live music side is a dump and the stage is not kept up. Staff is unfriendly and sometimes rude... Probably because their management is lousy. read more

My first time here. I popped in for lunch. I saw they had Irish Red on tap. My pulse started racing, as I haven't had one in awhile. That rush ended rather quickly. Cowgirl BT was all too quick to tell me they don't have it! Why is it on the menu? This place wasn't crowded. As a matter of fact I was customer #7, yet it took pretty lil' cowgirl in her shit kickers 10 minutes to take my order. Cowgirl isn't big on service. Maybe she's better on a horse! So this turned out to be another one of those wtf were you thinking moments. I ordered the gyro and fries. The fries were pretty good and crispy, I like them that way. The gyro was a fkng nighrmare! It came with fries on it!!! You don't do that to a gyro!!! I took the fries off and took a big bite!! I damned near spit it out! First of all the meat was those frozen thin greasy strips, yuk! Secondly it was built wrong! They put the nasty meat (it ain't meat. There's no way) on top of the veggie (a tomato) and the sauce. The tatziki sauce was warm (shudder) and had no flavor. I tried to masticate my bite without showing my disgust. Didn't work! It was flavourless and GUMMY! Ewwwww! What's making this gummy is all I could think about! So I told pretty cowgirl to cash me out. She commented that I didn't eat, and asked if everything was ok. I told her no, that I didn't like the sandwich. She apologized and offered to bring me something else. I told her no it was ok. She brought my check and pointed out that she comped a couple of my beers! That was impressive! It got her a good tip. The only person happy here was the pretty little cowgirl. Ye hah! read more

This placece USED to be a GREAT spot to hang out with friends, BUT became extremely messy. Please step up the DRESS CODE & you will see more people enjoying themselves there. Its bad enough there isnt hardly any bars in Pflugerville, that the ones close by have gotten bad for lack of mismanagement. Bartenders can be rude, one looks like the smell of a bad fart paralyzed her face, waitresses are ok, especially the tall one & the one with tattoos. It gets EXTREMELY GHETTO now! read more

This is a very good bar. They have a DJ from Wednesday to Sunday. They also have good bartenders from Devin to Bonnie they take care of their clients. During the weekend they get pretty busy as it's a good alternative to going downtown but Devin and Bonnie will take care of you. They also serve food until like 10pm and is pretty good! read more

I love this place!! Hot staff, cold beer, rockin food and great sports packages on the big screen....what else could be better?? Definitely a great place to hang!!! read more

A newly re-discovered daytime hideout bar with EPIC food and a smoking hot bartender who is fast and courteous and friendly. Big Luther's food is a MUST try, I grew up eating fried catfish and his is some of the best I have had in recent years, the best in Austin bar none. And you get a heaping serving for $10, and his BBQ is succulent. The pork ribs are amazing. The bartender is what keeps me coming back as she is so pretty you can't take your eyes off of her and she is always smiling and promoting a good time and pours generously. When I don't have much going on in the afternoon, this is where I will be if I want to kick back a few and enjoy some damned good food. It's my kind of place to a T, small friendly crowd, with anything you want to drink at a great price and food that stands on it's on. I can't wait till I get back from my business trip to go back! read more

Well they definitely have a colorful crowd. The staff is mediocre. And it's straight up at TABC violation to ask you how old are you instead of ID-ing you. If I had the number for TABC, I'd call to report this bar. So guess I'll be googling it later. read more

We needed this up north..Thanks Spinners!!!!

This place has a good beer selection, descent looking food, and quite a few tvs. They also have a small patio area. This would definitely be a good place to check out a game on a nice day when they can open the place up. I went on a Friday night and the dj was way too loud, but other than that I had no complaints. The waitresses were quick with our drinks the bill was way cheaper than I expected. I will check this place out again. Hopefully on a night when there is a descent game on and no DJ, though he did play some good music. read more

The bartender was super slow, very intoxicated, & almost as much of a hot mess as her manager. Only giving two stars bc I feel badly for her. This place definitely needs better management. read more

Place was not crowded on a Wed. night, and after waiting 30 minutes of ordering some tacos we left.Bartenders are nice and for that I give 3 stars...get your shit together. Its Austin, there are a ton of better places than this. read more

We came from out of town and I must admit I liked the vibes in this place. The bar tender was really sweet and quick. The music was awesome and the DJ played good old and new music. I will definitely go back if I get the chance. read more

first time here, if i could give zero stars i would. the toothless bartender called me out of my name when i didn't want her to hold my id card. she had no mask and we touching other customers when i walked up. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Nice bar place for up north Austin. We should have more places like this. The service was great and shots were good. Will be back!

First time at Spinners and it's definitely my kind of bar! Real down to earth people, great music, and great service. Big shout out to Devan the bartender super hot, gorgeous with a great personality made me feel right at home. I'll definitely come back here! read more

A co-worker and I stopped here for lunch one day thanks to Yelp. Small but high quality lunch menu. I had a very good cheeseburger and affordably priced pint of microbrew. Easily accessible parking lot with ample space for a lunch and/or dinner crowd. The scenery was a delightful surprise as well. read more

For a small local bar, this is a fun place! Gets packed after 10pm on the weekends. The "view" at this place has never disappointed me. Great beer selection on Tap kinda pricey, although I truly miss getting 512Pecan Porter(local microbrew) there. :( Watching a special sports event is awesome here, plenty of plasma t.v's! read more

Nice atmosphere, food was good, drinks a little on the pricey side but manageable. Overall this place was pretty good. Both my husband and i shared fried pickles, he ordered shrimp tacos and i, the brisket wrap. The people watching here is interesting as well. DJ on the Saturday we were there was horrible. In fact i don't even remember him playing a full song and there would be this awkward silence between "halfway" songs. Might try this place again in the near future if i am in the area but would not consider it my new hang out. read more

Best Wings in AUSTIN!! And a great place to watch NFL on Sunday.... Bartenders (Marci and Ally) are awesome.. if my beer looks almost empty they bring another one right away.. and like i said - THE WINGS are GREAT! and they have plenty of TVs to watch your game.. kicks third base in the assprin bottle.. read more

Usually head here after work for beer and bar food. I prefer the earlier crowd vs. the late night. The outdoor seating is nice and you can hang out with your dog. read more

I liked the atmosphere on Friday nights.. I went on the weeknight as well and it was very nice and chill the bartenders are great!!

If I could give a zero I would. I always come to this place on Sundays but yesterday was by far the worst experience from the time my group walked in. We were greeted by Angel and she told us that with a party of 6 I do not have space but outside...so we looked around there are empty tables that she could move together to make it enough room. Secondly the "Falling off the bone turkey legs" that's not true at all. I ordered turkey legs with seafood mac and cheese with the glaze. The turkey leg was dry and uneatable towards the bottom. The mac and cheese was dry I asked for more glaze they charge you for it and that didn't help. Angel had a horrible attitude when she did not inform the group about the "new" policy of only being able to split the ticket up two ways she walks off and talks shit to her man and friend that was there while he rubbing on her butt and kissing her very unprofessional! I will not visit here any more and I was a normal customer!!! read more

Had a great time here Saturday night. Not a rowdy obnoxious crowd, good music and sports on TV. All you want in a bar! Drinks were great and my husband was thrilled that they had Modelo Especial on tap! I think he can only find that at 2 other places around town. Great service. Overall, a pretty solid experience. read more

THE WORST BAR!!!! New Year's Eve at spinners was horrible. Tickets for $50 was supposed to included appetizers, a champagne toast, photo opportunities and if you purchased in advance your name on a Hollywood star to match the theme. The doors were supposed to open at 7 and the band was advertised to start @ 8pm. At 7 pm. the bar was not decorated in fact the bar was not even set up yet. The staff was clueless, and the owner was rude. Food was not served until 10:45 p.m. The food was awful over Fried Chicken Fingers and fried macaroni and cheese nuggets tortilla chips and cut up sausages in burnt BBQ sauce. I wouldn't recommend this place to watch Sunday football much less to have an old Hollywood themed New Year's Eve party. To the owner, get your act together your event coordinator was nothing more than an oversized plastic Barbie doll walking around taking pictures of herself the only good thing about the night was the band. read more

This is a good local bar, relatively quiet on the weeknights good, fun crowd on the weekends. Lots of beer options, lots of TVs, pretty decent food and reasonably priced drinks. Doesn't get much better than that for neighborhood bars. read more

Decent food, but the atmosphere is great. The wait staff is super friendly and the drinks are at a good price.

I came in this past Sunday to watch some football and enjoy a nice cold beer. I sat at the bar and the service was great! Heather and Devan were my bartenders and they were extremely fun and friendly. I did order food which was good, however, it took FOREVER to come out. I think I figured out why. Not because someone forgot to put in my order. I came up with ONE reason...YOUR COOK was standing at the end of the bar watching the football game! This place was busy and there were a lot of hungry people ordering food and nothing seemed to come out in a timely fashion. He also got an attitude with the girls when they asked for his help with running food during down time because they were so busy. I am not a fan of him or his attitude. This place would do great on it's own without his help, since he doesn't seem to do much anyways. I will still be coming back because I love the sweet girls and the awesome atmosphere. I just think the "head cook" needs to go. read more

I stopped by there Sunday afternoon for a quick beverage. Wasn't sure what to expect with a name like "Spinners". It's a nice place. Not too risqué. The bartender was wearing cut offs and a tank top. She was very cute, and friendly. Prices were good. I didn't eat but the food I saw look good. I'll go back. Give a local business a try. read more

Good music great party environment. We had a blast will be back. I loved it!!!! The prices was good and no cover charge

Been suffering through this place's AWFUL customer service for the sake of the seafood, which I order OFTEN. Well, never again. I finally had enough of the disrespectful idgaf attitudes the bartenders ALWAYS have. I waited tables for YEARS and am always respectful and a good tipper but it doesn't matter; they treat me like they don't care at all and it's really frustrating. I could not be nicer. Tonight, I drove 15 minutes to place a Togo order (they don't do them over the phone anymore so you have to show up before they'll start the order) and after getting the food and getting home I realized it was the wrong order. I called and the girl Sky first off told me to "box the food up and bring it back so I can show that manager you didn't eat it"despite it being her fault. the call got "disconnected" in the middle of me talking and I called back NINE TIMES with NO ANSWER. So I had no idea what the status of my order was and had to drive BACK only to be treated just as rudely from Sky. Not a SINGLE apology or any type of kindness. Also was sitting there listening to her answer every phone call instantly lmao Just honestly a straight bitch. I got my money back bc I spent an hour in my car/gas money to deal with this shit. So disgusting that people can have jobs and act like that. Will never set foot in that crusty place EVER again. Bet on that. Ima tell all my friends too bc I care about them read more

I went on a sunday night. There weren't very many people and I had driven from Taylor to meet a few friends there. When I arrived I sat at the bar with my friends and the bartender passed by me a few times before I had to flag her down to grab me a beer. When another male companion of ours showed up it took her all of 5 seconds to come over and start flirting and take his order. I had planned on staying longer but decided it wasn't worth my time. I didn't tip her I will not go back and I will let people I know not to go because of the service read more
