This place is super fun! My sister and I came in for dinner on a Thursday night. We ordered 2 different pizzas. Mine was the prosciutto and caramelized onions on regular dough and my sister got the chicken and pesto on a gluten free dough. Both were AMAZING. I actually liked the gluten free pesto more than the prosciutto pizza. I also got the strawberry basil lemonta (with spiced rum). Had a lot of basil but was a great summer drink with the pizza. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I would recommend this Place for a weekday dinner or a lunch. They have mini pizzas as well and their happy hour seems very reasonable. Today was my first and last time trying Spin Pizza. The lobby was a complete mess with trash and silverware all over the floor. The server brought one set of silverware and one napkin out for two of us. We waited a while for our pizza and when it was delivered it was missing a topping we ordered and it was cold. The food itself is great but I had a horrible service experience. Ordered pickup on the website and showed up at the exact time we had it set for. Got to the pick up line and we were the only ones there. A manager walked over within 2 feet of us and then walked away without saying a word. A not so busy bartender stood several feet away and never acknowledged us. After about 5 minutes my wife asked the bartender if we could get help with our to go order. We then had to wait another 10 minutes for them to bring out our food which was barely warm. It would have been faster to just get in the order line and wait for our food rather than order ahead like we did. Poor customer service. read more

I always thought I'd have to go some financial hoops to afford a pizza that makes my mouth dance and sing, but it looks like I just had to pay what I usually pay at other pizza places at SPIN. The catch that I get a pizza visually made for everyone to see and made with beyond high quality ingredients. The first bite I had of my BBQ chicken pizza made body dance to the moon and back it was that good! I have been going to the Spin in West Omaha since it has opened. The last 2 times have been absolutely horrible service. The tables are sticky and the floors are always filthy. My last visit there, we sat at the bar for 10 minutes, with several serving staff walking by us and never greeted. I left Without ordering anything- and with zero acknowledgement by any team members. What a huge let down from a place that at one time was a pretty decent place to grab some pizza. I will never go back. What a disappointment. The lack of care is going to run that business into the ground. read more

We've tried this place several times in last 3 years hoping for improvement and where disappointed 3 of the 4 return trips. I like the food, mini mia combo's. Just be sure to order dressing on the side, they like to drown the salad. Where this place fails is it's front of the house operations. It's a little awkward how you walk in and go to register to order. If people are trying to get gelato at the same time it turns into a ridiculously long time standing in line as there is never more than 1 person working cash register & gelato. Within 15 feet you'll most likely see a number of employees just standing around but don't expect them to step in and help. Then you find a table and wait. They don't expedite at all. We have gotten our pizzas before our salads on more than 1 occasion. Don't expect to get any refills. Totally hit and miss if anybody checks on you after they drop of food. They do expect you to tip though. Not understaffed from the number of employees I see standing around. Under managed. Hire somebody that knows how to run a restaurant and execute. Clean up the customer experience and my family would be regulars. read more

Friendly staff but seems out of place to order at the counter. The decor and vibe make it more of a sit down place. Wait staff doesn't check in with you after delivering food. Manager was walking around and we had to ask for drink refills as the person who brought our food didn't come back. Food was so so. Caesar dressing was very oily with little flavor. Ordered the #5 pizza. Again, not a lot of flavor in the sausage and very few caramelized onions. Sauce was lack luster and hardly any cheese. My husband ordered the roast beef deli sandwich and it was so full of peppers, he couldn't taste anything but peppers. Minestrone soup was his side and he said it was mushy. Wow! I was able to come here for a special event and try many of the menu items. All were exceptional. Highlights for me were the chicken alfredo pizza, and the salsiccia con mela which is sausage with apple and pecans. This pizza was totally unexpected, but so good. The pizza to me is outstanding. It is the perfect thickness to hold the toppings, but not overwhelming. The outer crust has great flavor and is chewy and crispy at the same time. Their salads are also very fresh and have a lot of variety for everyone's taste. I had the BLT and it was fantastic! We also tried the garlic herb rigatoni and the spicy rigatoni. Both pastas were cooked to a perfect al dente and were excellent. The sangria here is also worth a try. My favorite is the blood orange. We finished with a choice of their 12 or so gelato flavors. You can ask for a taster before you choose. The menu here has been developed by a James Beard winning chef and you can taste it! This place would be perfect for a lunch stop as well. You can get an individual pizza and a salad for $10! The pizza cooks in 8 minutes so no long wait here. I would recommend this place for whatever your needs are. They have a bar with a selection of craft beers also! Great for families, casual date night, or quick lunch. Definitely check this place out. read more

just ordered from the papillion location via doordash. the driver was speedy and our entire order process from transaction to delivery took rougly 30 minutes, and has nothing to do with the restaurant itself -- that is the problem, however, as our only positive experience was with the doordash driver. our food arrived reheated, and our salad had a sticker on it that said "thursday" - today is sunday, so i guess our salad was made four days ago. cool. the crust was soggy and floppy, the pizza itself was room temperature, the meatball had no sauce on it and was cold, the salad was warm. nothing good here. disappointed - always heard good reviews about this place. read more

I absolutely love this place. I eat at the one in Richardson, TX when I'm in town for work and was pleasantly surprised to see this had opened right next to my hotel. They have an innovative concept of ordering at the counter but then getting full service once you've picked a table. The pizzas and salads are amazing. I'm always rotating pizzas but can't get myself away from their spinach salad! The flavor is awesome and the chianti dressing knocks it out of the park. The staff is incredibly friendly and management makes themselves available by frequently walking the floor and being on the front line with their employees! read more

I visited this location on a slow Tuesday afternoon with my mom amd little sister. I'm new to the Omaha area and really liked the pictures on yelp and the majority of the reviews. I have to say I was impressed. We all three got the mini Mia (pizza and a salad). My mom and sister were fairly unadventurous with pepperoni and margherita pizzas and Caesar salads, but I went with the Sonoma salad and the olive and artichoke pizza. All the food was delicious. My mom loved her blood orange sangria. We were a bit lost on who to tip, but every staff member we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. It was a bit pricey for lunch, but we enjoyed the food and our girls day out immensely. read more

So so pizza. Fresh but tastes like a chain. Just doesn't impress. Menu limited to over-priced 12" pizzas and salads. Some pasta dishes. Decent selection of local beer on tap. Very confusing ordering process. First you find a menu, find a table, then try to remember what everyone wants, then you go to the order counter, then back to your table and wait. Pretty sure this place won't be successful. In West O, you need a bigger menu with food that speaks of uniqueness and taste. The blah pizzas and salads aren't going to cut it. read more

Food was good and service was friendly but very poorly executed. From the downscale impression made by ordering at the counter to the server overlooking bringing our drinks and flatware to the table the initial impression was bad. This was followed by poorly timed delivery of the appetizers. One person in our party who ordered the salad had that delivered right away, but those of us who'd ordered hot appetizers had to wait another 10 minutes for our food. Worse, after the hot appetizers were delivered the pizzas we'd orders were delivered within a literally 60 seconds. By the time we finished our appetizers and we're ready to eat the pizza it was cold.. I'm optimistic for the future of this place but they need to get their act together with respect to service. read more

While the food was mostly enjoyable, the staff completely ruined lunch. The the young woman who took our order was rude, and when I'd explained that we'd never been there her service didn't improve any. The "Cesar" salad dressing was watered down to oil. The floors were extremely dirty. Everyone that was working looked like they hated their jobs. Our drinks sat empty as multiple staff members, including the manager, walked by and made eye contact with us. After bussing a table and spilling a drink on the floor, it was never mopped up so someone wouldn't slip. Lots of improvements can be made. read more

Service was excellent, I like having full-service at the tables once the order is placed. I think we should have ordered pizza for the best experience, but we wanted something lighter and ordered soup, flatbread, and an Italian sub. Everything was OK, but nothing was exceptional. Next time we'll try the pizza. My only complaint is how they do the check. When you order at the counter, they place an authorization hold for the amount of your order but leave the check open for additional drinks, etc. When you are ready for the bill, they run a new transaction on your card for the final amount. Because I paid with a debit card, I had that hold on $45 in my checking account for three days after eating there. If we go back, I'll ask them to close the tab immediately rather than placing the hold on the initial amount. I know it doesn't get charged, but that hold irritates me! read more

I'm really surprised by the 4 and 5 star reviews here. If you're looking for an authentic Neopalitan pizza, do yourself a favor and go to Dante. If you think that pizza is pizza and have low expectations, then the food might be considered edible. My kids like it, but that has more to do with the token they receive for gelato after they're done eating. If you're brave enough to try it, do yourself a favor and get there early, because subpar food aside, they have to have the worst possible system in the world for ordering and seating. Depending upon how busy they are, someone will either ask for the number of people in your party, and put a "reserved" sign on a table for you, or you can try and find one yourself. The first time we went after they just opened we were told to just grab a table because it was early. The second time, without knowing their "system" we did the same thing to get the kids settled and a place to sit while I went to stand in line to order. The manager quickly and rudely reprimanded me for seating ourselves and made us feel like we had done something terrible wrong by securing a place for our kids to sit. There were plenty of open tables and not that many people in line so I'm not sure what I was supposed to do; tell my wife and kids to get up? He finally relents and makes us feel like he did us a huge favor, so whatever. It then took seemingly forever to place an order (and of course I have to remember all 5 orders because we wanted to secure a table) since it's apparently too difficult to have someone take your order at the table like a normal restaurant. The drinks took forever to arrive and as others have stated, the service was not good and we had to track someone down to ask for a refill. The food arrived relatively quickly but the quality of the food was not good. The sauce is bland, and the proscuitto I had may as well have been a slice of deli ham. Since you've already paid up front, if you want another drink, they have to re-ring up your receipt! Makes absolutely no sense. If/when you want gelato, you need to go up to the case, stand in line, and pay for that separately. I mean who came up with this idiotic concept? When I go out to eat, I want to be able to relax, and have it be a low-stress experience (eating out with small children is stressful enough) and this place is anything but relaxing. Unfortunately, the kids like it and so we've been back twice since, but each time, my wife and I both curse ourselves and swear we aren't going to come back. So I'll give it 2 stars instead of 1 for the quick food arrival (though overall the service is very poor) and the fact that the kids like it. Recently visited spin this past weekend. It was our first time visiting and ended up being a horrible experience. I ordered a mini Mia and asked to have no meat on my salad. Their first mistake was that my salad came out with meat on it even though I asked for no meat. My boyfriend ordered a pizza w no pineapple and his came out w pineapple on it. About halfway through my salad I found a long hair in it. As if this wasn't enough... we had horrible service the entire time and couldn't even flag a waiter down to come to our table (they were too busy talking and watching the busker game). When we finally talked to a waiter and told him.. all he did was offer us free ice cream coupons. We then asked if there was anything more they could do and they offered to take the salad and the pizza off of our bill. The next day we noticed on our bank statement that they didn't take off the salad or the pizza and charged us for the full amount. We will be going back in tomorrow to speak to a manager. This will be the last time we visit spin. read more
