I don't live super close to a Marco's Pizza, so have only had it via delivery - but I think that is a valid format to review for a pizza place! I first ordered by myself for lunch so didn't get a large pizza or anything. I ordered the new Pizzoli handheld style item. I got the Pepperoni and Sausage option and when it arrived it was lot larger than I was expecting. I don't have huge hands so it barely fit in my hand to make it "handheld" like it said (this is not a complaint, as it meant the bang for the buck was great). Aside from the large size, the Pizzoli's sausage was really tasty and flavorful. I could definitely see that being good on a pizza. Along with the Pizzoli, I got an order of the boneless BBQ wings with ranch. When I plopped the wings out onto a plate, I was sad to see the BBQ sauce was only really coated on one side of each wing and the other side was bare. However, the wings themselves were super tender in their breading and not hard and crispy like some other boneless wings can be. So the lack of extra sauciness wasn't too big of a deal. I added the ranch sauce for dipping, and their ranch is quite flavorful and tangy. I also have ordered the actual pizza from Marco's and chose the Old World Sausage as the protein. It came with a white sauce vs marinara, which was sort of nonexistent and dry (I thought there was no sauce on it at first!). But the sausage itself was full of spices and flavor. I think Marco's is a good option for a quick and affordable pizza run, but some of their items are a little hit or miss, so choose wisely! read more

Yum! Marcos pizza is kind of a hidden gem to me, it's not exactly what you'd expect from a video rental place back in the day buts it's good. Ratio of crust to toppings sits really good. Very saucy! The sausage is really big and tastes better than chain stores. We for the meat and pineapple and both were good! Only complaint was the wait time was way off. We went early to wait the expected 20 mins and had to wait an additional 20. Not great but all in all we were hungry and it was worth the wait. read more

After seeing the TV commercials for Marco's Pizza, we made our way to Omaha and I have to say it was worth it. The staff greets you as you come in the door and take the time to explain the menu to you. The prices are good, the place is easy to find and very, very clean. This is for the new location in La Vista, NE - I realize they're new but really??!! 3 out of 3 orders were missing something. 1st time it was a garlic cup 2nd time it was a garlic cup (I even asked before I left the store if it was in the bag and guy confirmed it was). Nope, not in there. 3rd time it was a gross pizza. We ordered The Works which is supposed to have bacon on it but did not. And to make up for the missing bacon they added on an extremely large amount of green peppers and onions that seemed to have been added after the pizza was baked. Marco's has become one of my favorite pizza places in Omaha during the last year or so. At least at this price point. They have good deals, which is a plus when you are feeding kids. I usually order the plain cheese for the young ones and they love it. I like the thin crust with Jalapenos. They are generous with the toppings. The crust is on the thin and crunchy side, but I'm happy with that. I'll definitely keep Marco's in our pizza rotation. read more

Took advantage of the chance to return movies with the delivery of a pizza. That's a great service. The pizza is great. We constructed our own online. That's a big help because my daughter prefers white sauce over tomato sauce on her pizza, and we could split the pizza in halves. This has been the worst visit ever to Marcos pizza first I placed my order and the cashier gave me an attitude and then when I arrived there he gave me my order didn't welcome me either. To top it off he charged me extra for a side of ranch which I wasn't aware of until I received my receipt and asked him why he charged he said sorry it's our policy even if you buy a pizza. I didn't say anything because it was only 60 cents but it was unprofessional to uniform me of the extra charge that was going to apply even though I've never been charged before so it came on as a surprise this time. As I was leaving I asked him if the pizza was correct with all 3 crust toppers and he said "yes" I was a little hesitant to say something but I just went with it. As I arrived home I open the box to have dinner with my family who was all waiting for dinner and to see in disgust an disappointment to see there was bacon bits and ham on the pizza plus there was only one crust topper. The reason this bothers me so much because my family and I have been let down so much because we all order our pizza from here and trusted Marcos pizza to understand a customer who had never ordered pork and has noted on the account no pork please in the past due to religious reasons. So I expect them to sincerely make this up to me and my family especially for how often we've been coming here and gave our business to this fine establishment as it used to be. Great pizza. Great value. Large specialty and Large 2 topper for $22? That's hard to beat around here. I've been really impressed with their pizzas. Have tried several of their specialty pizzas on both regular and thin crusts and our whole family really likes it. I base this review solely on their cheese steak. I've never had anything else from there all thu it looks good. Their customer service was great. I was greeted when I walked in and was helped right away. Only a short wait time of 10 mins. A+ Now, coming from Philly I know what a good cheese steak taste like. This ladies and gentlemen was not it. It was dry, it was way too salty, they used the wrong cheese and the meat was too thick. Ordered online for carry out, which was simple enough. Very small place, and on a Friday evening, was standing room only. Picked up pizza and paid with no fuss and was back out the door. Prices were great, too. Brief interaction with the staff member that helped me was friendly. There were at least ten employees working in the back, so that's a good thing for speed and efficiency. Large pie with sausage and green olive=pretty tasty. Beware of the dead-end parking lot. The adjacent video store and this place make for a frustrating experience if you need to park on a busy night. Never would have considered trying the pizza place attached to Family Video, but my coworker raved about it and we were looking for a new pizza place. I was really surprised by how "real" and fresh their ingredients were. Huge pieces of real chicken, not the sad little tasteless meat cubes that are usually found on pizza. I think the specialty pizza we tried was the chicken fresco? Something fresco. And the cheese sticks, which were also much better than I've had at other places. None of that globby, greasy white cheese, and they were really soft and fluffy and well-seasoned. Loved the classic pizza crust, it was super-filling. I can usually eat a lot of pizza but I was stuffed after two slices. We ordered carryout online, the process was a little screwy on my phone, but once the order was through everything went smoothly. My boyfriend said it was a madhouse and other people were having issues with their orders or having to wait a long time but ours was done when they said it would be, no waiting, and they got it just right. It was about the same price wise, or possibly a little less, as ordering from godfathers, and much better ingredients. read more

Neither the white cheezy nor the pepperoni pizzas were great, and the pepperoni was very greasy...like more than pepperoni pizza from Godfather's, Valentino's, Mama's, Pudgy's, or Papa John's (which has gone way downhill recently). This pizza is great. It's easy to order online and they allow you to get extra sauce etc for no charge. Tho I wouldn't recommend getting extra sauce and cheese as it just counters the other. It's all about that sauce! They always had coupons and deals going on. As far as delivery, they will say 30 min but it's closer to 20. Great new pizza place!! I placed an order on line. I was given the option of picking up the pizza in 15 minutes or having it delivered in 40 minutes. I could not wait and chose to pick up the pizza. I arrived exactly on time and they were just boxing up my pizza. I ordered sausage and onion. The pizza had nice large pieces of sausage and plenty of onions. The crust was great, not to thin and not too thick. The pizza looked, smelled and tasted delicious. The guys in the shop were friendly and polite. This is my new favorite pizza. Marcos has gone down hill. Their pizzas are sloppy. They have no organization, every time I order online I end up waiting at least 20 more minuets, it's like they forgot to even make my order. We ordered Marco's on a Friday night and carried out. We were pleasantly surprised to say the least. We ordered a thin crust pizza with "old world" pepperoni and onions. This style of pepperoni is smaller in diameter, but thick, crispy and "cups up". It was distributed very generously on the pizza. Two of us nearly devoured the entire large pizza, which costed only $10. It was significantly better than most $15 pizzas you can get in town. We also got an order of cheese bread, which is similar to Roman Coin's, but without the mozzarella, overly thick and a bit over baked. If they were better, I'd have given Marco's five stars instead of four. Oh, the pizza also came with a complementary 5-day rental from next door Family Video. Score!!! read more
