I ordered the Hummus Stacked Bowl with Lamb. As soon as you're seated, you're served warm pita bread to start. Each table has olive oil, salt, and pepper available for dipping, which made for a simple but delicious beginning to the meal. The pita was warm, fluffy, and had outstanding texture and flavor. Despite the restaurant being busy during its first few hours of opening, the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The presentation alone was enough to make me hungry, but the aroma of the lamb had me ready to dig in immediately. The hummus, which serves as the foundation of the dish, was silky smooth and velvety when paired with the olive oil. The grilled squash and onions added a wonderful contrast of textures, blending perfectly with the warm ingredients while still maintaining a satisfying bite. Their seasoning was spot on. Bright red cherry tomatoes brought a fresh, vibrant element that tied everything together beautifully. The bowl also came with additional pita and seasoned pita chips, adding even more variety to the meal. Overall, Meddys absolutely exceeded my expectations. For a restaurant that had only been open a few hours, the food, service, and execution were impressive across the board. I was blown away and can't wait to return and work my way through the rest of their beautiful menu.

It's probably my favorite thing I've had here of all the locations. Honestly the one off putting part of our meal was our server. He had what I can only describe as a nervous energy. I ordered the Creamy Tomato Sauce Combo for my pasta and added grilled chicken for a bit of heartiness. It was super dry when it arrived, and I'm not sure if they just don't use a lot of the sauce or if it soaked into the noodles on the way or what. The chicken on top was fine but the lack of sauce was not my favorite. For the "combo" side, I did a Caesar salad and that was luckily without issues. It was equal size to the pasta entree I got, so that was nice to see they didn't skimp on the salad. I also grabbed a few more sides in case I was hungry later or my main entree wasn't great (which was the case). I got the Killer Mac (in a child size so I didn't waste too much food). It definitely tasted like a fancy version of Kraft Mac and cheese, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you like that. This child size was also the same size as the adult sized entree I got. My child size macaroni came with a side of fries (in case I felt up to eating them) and those were actually pretty tasty, but it's hard to mess up fries. I also got a juice box which was probably the best part of the meal. I think when I saw this was run out of Firebirds, I expected a little higher quality, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for the entire order.

So no dine-in experience here--just you, your couch, and some takeout containers. The first time I ordered, I tried the Killer Mac--once plain and once with grilled chicken. It was good, but I think I was expecting more. At first glance, the mac and cheese looked dry, but the cheese sauce had actually settled at the bottom. A quick stir helped bring it all together. The dish itself was solid, just a little underwhelming. The sauce was thinner than I'd hoped, and for something with "killer" in the name, I expected a bolder, more flavorful punch. That said, the BBQ Salmon Salad more than redeemed the experience. It was absolutely loaded with toppings--tomatoes, bacon, sliced hard-boiled egg, charred corn salsa, and cheese--with a BBQ-glazed salmon filet that was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It's now my go-to when I'm craving a salad that actually feels like a full, satisfying meal. Since this is delivery-only, I can't speak to the Noodles and Greens restaurant space itself, but having eaten at Firebirds in the past, I know the environment is clean and the service is great. Noodles and Greens is a good option for when you're looking for something a little different from the usual takeout--fresh, hearty salads or comforting pasta dishes without leaving home. Just maybe skip the Killer Mac and go straight for that salmon.

I'm not sure anyone had an amazing bite but the menu was large so there is still potential! I will say the one thing that stood out the most to me was the flavor. If the menu item said chipotle, Parmesan, honey, etc then that flavor was there and you could not get away from it! I had Parmesan in my potatoes and salad and it was overpowering. And my friend got the chipotle potatoes au gratin and said he could barely get the potato flavor. We all had the three course meal and most of us got the steak. We all ordered at different temperatures including medium well and they all came out rare or just uneven. It was good flavor and it wasn't too chewy so we all just ate it with no complaints! Along with the three course meal was a mini dessert so we all tried each and they all fell flat. We did get them to-go so maybe that had something to do with it but even a simple brownie wasn't anything great. Overall I want to chalk it up to wrong ordering and hope to come back and try other menu items and some suggestions!

Our server came out and she was just frantic and scrambling to keep up with her tables the whole time. It was strange, she came over to drop our chips and salsa (didn't take our drink order), brought water (took our drink order then), brought over the drink (didn't take our food order), stopped by to tell us she had to wash her hands, and finally took our food order when she came back. Once the food arrived, she neglected to refill our waters or beverages. The chips and salsa were ...odd. The chips were thick and the salsa was kind of paste-like. The taste on these wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Then came out the food. My husband got two street tacos and they were so unappetizing that he didn't even finish eating them. I got a Birria quesadilla which was fine but not spectacular... but the rice and beans that came on the side had the equivalent flavor as baby food. Overall, this place wasn't dirty and the staff was friendly (despite being inattentive), so it's not a bad place to visit. But for the price, you're better off going to another restaurant at Village Pointe.
