My husband and I first visited Spin! for a Yelp event (when he was my plus one, he loves that!) - and we enjoyed it so much that we have been back multiple times after the introductory event. The restaurant's vibe and decor are super charming, featuring cool murals adorning the walls, a cute bicycle-riding mascot, bicycle wheel lamps, and exposed hanging lightbulb-style lighting at the bar, creating a unique and stylish atmosphere. The staff even remembered us from the Yelp visit, because we went back so soon after that first time - LOL! Speaking of the staff, they are always excellent. I ordered a pizza once with the Detroit style crust, but the manager told me that she wasn't sure that style/flavor would work on the Detroit base. She had it made that way originally, but said it didn't turn out right (like she had first thought), so re-made it with the normal crust. Now that is service! And in relation to the Detroit style crust, that style is so delicious and crispy/almost caramelized on the edges. Love it! My husband is from Detroit himself, so he always gets that style without question. We had the mini mias (which come with a pizza and salad) for the Yelp event we attended, and we loved that combo, so have ordered that a few times on return visits. My favorite Mia combo is the BBQ Pizza on the Detroit crust, paired with the Greek Salad. It's a delightful combination of sweet and tangy flavors. The salad is light and refreshing, featuring pungent (in the best way) feta cheese, a light vinaigrette, and juicy cherry tomatoes. My husband sticks with classics - the Pepperoni pizza (of course on the aforementioned Detroit style crust) with a Caesar salad. The pizza is always on point for a pepperoni, and the salad is perfectly dressed (his words). My one non-Detroit style pizza that the manager remade on the normal crust, was the Sausage and Apple paired with the Sonoma salad. The normal crust mini pizza is a 7 inch round pie, which was plenty. The apple and sausage went so well together, and the Sonoma salad was great with the pizza too, as it it had apples also, along with grapes, raisins, goat cheese, and an orange vinaigrette - yum! And we don't just stick with the Mini Mias always. We have also tried some of their pastas and entrees! The Beef Bolognese is very flavorful and a huge portion, so you will definitely have leftovers to take home. The Chicken Risotto is also a large entree, with perfectly cooked risotto and a juicy chicken breast. Lastly, if you're looking for a sweet ending to your meal, the tiramisu is top notch. It's a pretty good size for sharing, but I could eat by myself. If you're looking for an inexpensive meal that's flavorful and plentiful, definitely give Spin a try, either at this Legacy location or the Papillion one. You will not regret a stop at either!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with a smile and genuine hospitality. The hostess greeted us immediately and offered our choice of seating--booth or table--and kindly took our drink orders. Our server arrived promptly to take our appetizer order, and not long after, Brian--who may be a manager--stopped by to introduce himself. He was incredibly friendly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and provided great insights into the menu and new items. Brian's service elevated the whole experience--attentive, enthusiastic, and truly memorable. We started with the spinach artichoke dip served with rosemary flatbread. It's hands down the best I've had in years. The warm, flavorful bread paired perfectly with the creamy dip--so much better than typical chips! Next, we enjoyed the Detroit-style meat combo pizza and a salad. Let me say--this was not "just" a salad. I had the Very Berry salad, which was bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. Brian mentioned all dressings are house-made, and it shows. As for the pizza: perfectly crispy crust, cheese all the way to the edges, and delicious cupped pepperoni. We tried three versions, and every one was consistent and absolutely nailed the Detroit style. The atmosphere is bike-themed ("SPIN!"), with fun wall art, creative light fixtures, and an open, airy feel thanks to the large garage doors leading to a great outdoor patio. TVs are well-placed without being overwhelming, and the overall noise level is perfect for a conversation. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming--right down to the well-kept restrooms. Before leaving, we discovered the gelato counter--local, house-made flavors. Though we were stuffed, Brian offered us sample spoons, and we couldn't say no. The gelato was outstanding--rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. It's worth coming back just for that! All in all, this was an exceptional dining experience from top to bottom. Amazing service, great food, clean atmosphere, and thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend stopping in--especially for the salad. Okay, and the pizza. And maybe the gelato too!

The staff were welcoming and the seating was spacious. We enjoyed appetizers, drinks and the mini Mia combo. We had the 1/2 very berry salad, 1/2 Sonoma salad with out Detroit style pizza (forgot to take pictures). Everything was delicious and fresh. The pizza has delicious crispy edges, which I enjoyed. I look forward to coming back with the family again.

Spin is a family oriented, order at the counter pizza "and more" restaurant. We dropped in for a quick Italian craving. They have two fairly new additions to their menu. One is pretty good, the other fairly awful. I love Detroit-style pizza and have had some pretty great ones -- in Denver as well as from the Costco freezer case. At spin, the pepperoni was sparse, but the cheesy crunch was nice. This pizza saves the review. The second new item -- Papardelle Bolognese. I love, love, love papardelle. For me, it's like a light and fluffy, flavorful small scale lasagna noodle. Here, it barely had any flavor. And to call the accompaniment Bolognese "sauce" really was a stretch. Lots of meat/burger, with a slight red tomato-y tinge, but not really a sauce. Disappointing. If I make it back here, it will be only for pizza. The people were nice, though.

Decent size restaurant, very roomy. We were greeted by the owner Donna very nice & went over the menu items. Next our waitress (kassidi) took our order & was also very nice & served us great. Born & raised in Detroit I could hardly wait to compare . I ordered the meat lovers mini with Greek salad .the pizza is Super delicious made me a little homesick. The Difference between the two is Spin pizza is a little thinner but more crispy, crunchy , less doughy than my hometown fav & satisfying my taste buds without being to heavy. Look forward to coming again

WOW! Spin Pizza is the place to go for Detroit style pizza in Omaha! We came for lunch. We were greeted at the door by Donna, one of the owners from Canada. A very lovely person. Kassidy, our waitress was the sweetest. She was great too! Checked on us from time to time to make sure we had what we needed. Had the Mini Mia pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad. Salad was fresh and tasty. The pizza was so so good. It was thick yet airy when you bit into it. And the crispy cheesey crust was out of this world!

I was very excited when Spin came to town, I still am! I built my own pizza try to stay as close to plant paste as possible and boy was it a treat I use the Grubhub through Yelp and it arrive before expected time, the service was awesome. In the past when I would dying in, I always loved their venue. It's a beautiful space and they make you feel welcome, I remember their salads been wonderful as well, I've never ordered any salads to go!!! I built a 14 inch cauliflower crust, vegan cheese, red onion, and here's where I left the plant-based planet, I added, Gorgonzola, and Soppressata. This pizza was a work of art, I would prefer a little more onion, and a little more so Prasada, but other than that it was just phenomenal. It was a little pricey , 50 bucks with delivery and tip for one 14 inch pizza, but plant-based eaters are getting used to that, in fact, next time I'm going to add a few ingredients. If this location offered vegan Parmesan, I pay as much as five bucks to have it delivered with my pizza!

Friendly service, comfy setting, and oh yeah - the food! Unfortunately for me, there is too much seafood on the menu but there's always something. People rave about the seafood dishes so I'll trust them and say it must be good. I'm just not into it. On this visit, we each ordered a cocktail. I decided to try the lemon martini which I never order and OH MY GOODNESS. It was awesome! They nailed it. The limoncello brought it home. My dining partner had a dirty martini and was satisfied as well. We enjoyed a Spezia salad which featured mixed greens, prosciutto, tomato, Kalamata olives, and a house vinaigrette. It all combined so well. The lettuce was wonderfully fresh, no need to pick out rotting leaves like some places. The dressing was simply light and delish. We shared a plate of spaghetti. You get several options to add to it. The grilled spicy Italian sausage sounded good. I'm not sure which was better. The sausage or the marinara sauce. Both were soooooo good!! The sausage was truly grilled and spicy and just amazing, and it was not greasy either. The marinara sauce challenged my own that I make at home. We devoured that plate of spaghetti which was big enough to share. I forgot to take a picture as it was served so I am sharing a tight shot of half the order after we divided it.

Spezia, you let me down!…read more Our waiter struggled to keep up with the dinner rush. We arrived for our reservation and were seated at 6:40 where we weren't greeted by our waiter for quite awhile. It took a long time to get our drinks and I had to ask for bread so we decided to skip appetizers and go straight to our entree. When ordering the entree our waiter said "and which salad would you like?" And then listed the salad options. Normally when ordering a main and the waiter says which salad do you want that's because the salad comes with the meal. Nope. We were charged $11 per salad that we didn't even really want. The salads were your average side salad, but thankfully had good dressings. We hadn't brought up salads, the waiter did when we ordered our entree. So we were disappointed to have $20+ in salads that we didn't request until the waiter offered them. Our salads were finished for at least 15 minutes before our main entree came out at about 7:30, nearly an hour after we had been seated. My shrimp scampi was good, the broccolini was a touch under cooked but the flavors were still good, and the shrimp was surprisingly large in size and cooked exactly how it should be. Had we been served quicker and not offered things that didn't come with our meal when ordering our meal we may have been happier, hard to say. The table next to us was sat about 10 minute after us and had a different waitress. They received their entire meal (including bread & apps) and left before we were offered dessert. The food is good, I won't discredit that at all. But when coming to a restaurant like this you are expecting a level of service that we just didn't get. I'm sure we'll try again in the future and if service is better I will definitely update my review but for now, this was a let down of a birthday dinner.

For the main course, I had the penne bolognese fiorna, and it was flawless (rich, fresh, and a generous portion). My better half went for the Big Vinny Combo (chicken parmigiana, fettuccine Alfredo, baked lasagna). Everything hit except the Alfredo needing a touch more salt... though she definitely didn't need any help enjoying those glasses of wine. We started off with happy hour drinks and calamari. The lemonchello and Negroni are strong!!! You've been warned! The calamari was surprisingly delicious. It didn't have a fishy taste, the breading was thin, tasty and yummy. The sauces it came with were also bomb. It had a nice kick along with pickled peppers that I could eat by itself. Now to the stars of the show -- margherita and pepperoni pizza. Wow. It almost felt like our taste buds were transported to Italy after the first few bites. Both of these pizzas were on the happy hour menu. I strongly recommend getting them if you're in a pizza mood. Based on the food alone, this easily could have been a 4-star experience. Unfortunately, the service made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. We didn't have a reservation, and I completely understand that it was a Friday around 6 p.m. in a small restaurant near the Old Market. We fully expected we might have to wait. Instead, we were told, "Well, all I have is this table for two, but I need it by 7." It was about 5:45, so we said that was totally fine and we'd easily be finished by then. From that point on, though, it felt like the clock was ticking. We were seated and immediately given water, which was great, but we already felt rushed so we quickly chose a pizza and focaccia to split. Once the food arrived, the check-ins became frequent enough that it was hard not to notice. As soon as we took the last piece of focaccia, the board was whisked away. As soon as we took the last piece of pizza, that was cleared too. The check came almost immediately. We were in and out in about 30 minutes...roughly 45 minutes before they actually needed the table. Take that for what it's worth, positive or negative. I want to give a lot of grace because it was a busy Friday night, but the overall atmosphere from the service, including a hostess who seemed visibly unhappy much of the time, kept this from being a four-star experience for us. The food is absolutely worth having again, but next time we'd probably choose carryout so we can enjoy it without feeling like a nuisance for being there.
