When I saw the bill via email on 2/13/25 that Blue Star was going to be charging $266.18 automatically (we have auto pay), I emailed and told them to stop service until this could be explained to me. Instead, they charged this amount and then in March 13 I received yet another bill for $444.82!! How can this be? It seems to me they would care to go over all this with me as requested, rather than simply just continuing to charge me automatically again and again. I trusted Acme when they owned the company, but I do note trust Blur Star.

I have a great relationship with one of the most employees that normally works the night shift, and have multiple times stayed after my propane is already filled just to finish our conversation. 4/28 at 1:15 A.M. I arrived and walked to the door to find it locked, walked over to the window and the employee gives me the cut throat gesture. I attempted to explain that I come here ALL THE TIME and it even says online "Our dedicated team is here to fill your propane needs 24/7 ... and we know our stuff. From barbecue tanks to forklift bottles, we get your propane tank re-filled or exchanged and get you on your way." But he decided to ignore me, and continue to make coffee, which makes no sense if the doors are locked and you aren't allowing customers in the store why are you making fresh coffee? Another gentleman came to the door and attempted to open it. He was waved off in the same manor. I would understand if he did not know how to fill the propane, but to not talk to me like a human being and then ignore me is so rude and disrespectful I refuse to come back to this store. Getting my propane tanks filled is my only source of heat. And I have spent hundreds if not thousands getting my tanks filled here regularly. I will take my business elsewhere and drive all the business I can away from this place.

Should've listened to the reviews. I got charged $273.08…read morewhen it was supposed to be much much less. They charged me a $117 fee for "fuel charge 18 Gals" (aka not filling the gas tank back to full) there's also a $30 fee for a "fuel service fee". I 100% filled the tank back up at the ARCO a block away with a $20 bill. I drove about 54 miles total off a full tank. They said that I returned it at 1/6th of a tank. Wow. The van had an average gas milage of 18mpg, the total gas tank held 25 gallons. Do the math. Driving 54 miles would leave it at a bit over 3/4 of a tank full. 22 gallons out of 25 gallons. (I used 3 gals of gas). IF I WERE TO BRING IT BACK WITHOUT REFUELING. But I did. So. The 1/6th doesn't even make sense if I didn't refuel it. Also just looking at the receipt again. It literally says the odometer reading when I picked it up and when I dropped it off. The difference? 52 miles. Wow. Yall. What? I'm currently waiting the 72 hours for this UHaul's response about the matter. Will update if anything gets worked out. Would love to get my money back. If you do decide to go here. Take photos of absolutely everything. Get names too I guess.
