Many gas station booths. There is always staff out here to help you out if needed. They are very friendly and helpful. They offer car wash as well for less than 10$. And as usual, Costco offers the cheapest gas prices. There are a couple of air dispensers for filling air in car tires for free, these are located in the front of the parking lot near the Costco wholesale entrance. I like coming here to get gas, fill air and get the car washed, all at one place!! read more

Wow! Friday evening is apparently a good time to go get gas. Or at least it was on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 18:46. There was hardly a line and I was able to drive right up to the pump. Still the one to beat when it comes to price, Costco gasoline is the cheapest place around! Had a horrible experience at the Beacon Avenue Shell (2424 Beacon Avenue) that resulted in me driving to Costco to get gas - and it was an 80 cent saving per gallon! read more

Two days later I went to a Costco membership line and ask them if they could print me a past receipt of my recent gasoline purchase. They were kind enough to do that for me. Cheapest gas around if you have a Costco membership. I forget that Weekends are ridiculous crowded and the wait can be quite long. But given that they have so many pump stations, it isn't so bad. Tip: Stay to the right for the fastest service; it's one line but split at the last minute into two different isles, each with three pumps. You have to be a member of an exclusive club to be here. I mean you don't need a wrist bracelet or UV stamp, but like all clubs, you get carded when you get to the front of the line. No additional cover for members. They only take card here, and they are specific. No AMEX, Discover or MC, just Visa and your bank debit counterparts. From the moment you get the liquids going, you are a VIP. Need help, they have a button right there to get an attendant. Honestly, I don't know many clubs where you get cleanup and general assistance with a press of a button. They even have help for handicapped members, I mean seriously what an awesome all-inclusive club. All said and done, I hit this place up a few times a month, and some may say, I have a tank that never stays full for long. Definitely, I will be a repeat customer. read more

An automated car wash is just fine for me there. The typical gas station car wash gets your car clean but in the process leaves so many little scratches and swirls your paint becomes dull over time. My neighbor recommended the Costco car wash so I gave it a try. I was really surprised at how good the car looked for $9. No discernible swirls yet. Same concept as their gas stations -- slide in your Costco card, debit card or American Express, then drive up to attendant so they can check off your receipt and they'll tell you "Neutral. The Costco gas line has definitely improved since they added more pumps but it's still a trade-off saving some number of cents per gallon vs stopping somewhere much more convenient on your daily drive to fill up. Yup, I am a fan. Not the best car wash but the best deal for the buck. You can't beat $7.99. It gets the job done but it will miss a few spots and you will need to be a Costco Member. You are in n out in a flash without getting out of your car or suv. My benz get free detail at Mercedes dealership but my other cars, I come here most of the time. Elephant Car Wash, watch out! My car is always glistening clean. If they miss a spot, you can run your car through again - no questions asked. The only downside (hence four stars) is the placement of the credit card reader. They were designed for giants or SUV's. As I am neither, I usually have to crawl out of my window to run my card though their credit card reader. read more

I had been doing the self serve thing at Brown Bear and was never all that happy with the results. For $8.71 I have to say, other than a few spots on my side mirrors, I am VERY impressed with the final result. I used to never take my car in for a car wash as I preferred to hand wash my baby. As I've gotten older (and lazier), the car wash will often get me out of a jamb and I am guilty of using it instead. I was shocked to find this Costco had a carwash as I didn't even know they existed. The price is in line with Brown Bear middle grade ($8.50 or so after tax) and they seem to do a nice job. There are two lines and on sunny days, you are going to have to inch along and wait your turn. You pay at machines (similiar to the gas pump) before you get to the gal who will mark the receipt. The only thing I've been anxious about is the "put it in neutral" bit as they seem to let the cars get super close and I have a manual. I basically almost slid back into the car behind me. So give people room or else you'll end up with a fender bender in the car wash entrance folks! Only downside is no 10th wash for free like Brown Bear. Can you look into that Costco? :) read more

Seattle's Costco gas is not as crowded as the one in California. Came here for gas and there wasn't any line at 8 am.

Friendly employees and the cheapest gas in the area. Beware pre and post work hours as the lines do get quite long. They only take amex and debit cards (who uses those?). The hoses are long enough to reach around your car so don't worry about which side your gas cap is on. Drive straight and take a left under the overpass if you want to quickly exit northbound on 4th ave. read more
