What can I say, this is a tire shop which means they only have 2 jobs to do 1 take care of peoples tires and 2 take care of people's tires! I came in because my wife's car had tires under warranty with them and we just got a nail in ours. I went in on a Saturday around 1 or two and was told they didn't carry the tire that we needed and they could order it and it would be there by Monday or Wednesday at the latest. We called Monday and they didn't have the tire, we called Wednesday and they didn't have the tire, we called Friday and they didn't have our tire. And then Tuesday of the following week and they said they didn't have our tire. When we threatened to cancel our order the guy "checked with his manager" and miraculously they already had the tire. When I asked how long it had been there they said they didn't know. The shop is disorganized, and when we were there the first and the last time it seemed like they didn't even want us to be there. Like somehow we had annoyed them by walking in the door. I don't need any special treatment, I just need my tire when they said it would be there and for once maybe they should be the ones to pick up the phone and call their customers!! Weekly fill-up at 4th Ave. Costco. Gas prices may not be what they seem. Last week and then again this week checked my gas receipt that showed I received 17/18 gallons of gas. My vehicle has a 12 gallon gas tank and if I overfill will take maximum of 12.5 gallons of gas. Yet, my receipts these past two weeks shows that I purchased 17/18 gallons of gas. Something is wrong with this scenario? Tried reaching supervisor today at this Costco to ask about the above noted deviance but each time, once I explained my dilemma was transferred and then disconnected (called 3 times). Use to be a fan until I took my truck through with a moderate amount of dirt on it. Ended up with chips in the paint on every section of the truck as well as a chipped passenger door window. Costco Claims ran me around for a couple months before refusing to repair the damage. The truck was less than a month old and had no paint/glass damage prior to me taking it through the Costco Car Wash. The dealership I bought the truck from as well as the Linex shop that installed the bed liner had documentation on the condition of the truck and were willing to vouch for it. Costco Claims was unwilling to take that into consideration and now I'm stuck with 5k in damages. read more

For less than 9 bucks, you get a car wash that looks very high tech. With machines going up and down, down and up. Its pretty cool. Though my first time and having brown bear as the standard. It is on par with brown bear basic wash, plus the under body carriage wash. My truck is known for developing rust via salted/brine roads, so having this place do it for 8.75 is much better than brown bear and me crawling underneath my truck. Where it loses stars and same with brown bear as well, is that the wheel cleaning system is not that great. I run disc brakes in front and drums in the back. My rear rim, now in the front did not get any cleaner. At brown bear it did a better job but it wasn't completely clean. I guess this is my only gripe but hey, I can't expect much unless its hand wash right? When it comes down to it, if you're getting gas, grocery, and wanting to clean your car, this would be the place to do it. Its not the best but its also not the worst. I wasn't expecting much and its always cool to go through the car wash. read more

Whoooooo! Costco Car Wash! I think I've paid twice as much for the level of wash I get here at the Costco and I think that's awesome. The only thing that would make the experience better is if Costco would pony up for some kind of musical light show as you and your car make your way through the misty tunnel. As good as it gets for a drive-thru car wash. Obviously you're going to end up with a cleaner car if you go to Brown Bear and do it yourself but honestly, for about $8 and 5 minutes of your time it's a great alternative. I will say that it gets really busy on nice days but even when the line is 15 cars deep (as it was after this recent snow) I barely noticed the wait. One note--the machine doesn't take cash so you'll have to use a card. I never have cash on me anyway but some people might take issue with that. read more

oh man! i wish they had this at a costco closer to the pad! the weather is always so sh*tty here that my silver lex more often than not looks like a brown one! boooo. costco car wash to save the day! at $8.71 with tax, it's still worth it to wait the half hour in line on weekends just to have my joint washed. it's not 100% perfect as it misses the underside of my rear spoiler and sometimes my mirrors ain't all the way clean but that's nothing a quick wipe can't fix. plus the machine somehow sauces up my tires so they ain't lookin' all ashy no more. This is a review of the Tire Department at Costco/4th Ave. Like another reviewer, I've had nothing but a miserable time consuming waste of time for tires I could have purchased elsewhere for a comparable price. Wait in line, get treated rudely, pressured like you have to do something you don't, then wait forever again. My daughter got a flat on her way home from school. She called roadside assistance and they changed the tire for her. When she got home, I took it down to Costco to get the tire repaired or replaced and I was treated all of the above...again. Since I wasn't buying anything, they really didn't care. The person in front of me was treated horribly with all the same tactics that was described by another reviewer. I just wanted to get out of there. Then my insurance company contacted me a month later to resolve the payment for the roadside assistance and needed me to get a copy of the no/charge receipt. I called the tire department, and they said to come on down to get it. Really, you can't email or fax it to me? Then I called the customer service desk, and they told me the same thing, but at least were nice about it. I understand security and all that but this is a no/charge invoice and there are a million ways to verify who I am. Now I'll go down there, walk a mile to get into the store, wait in line and hopefully they'll be able to print me a receipt with a zero on it. I'm giving two stars instead of one only because the guys back in the shop did a fast job getting the tire repaired for me. I brought the tire into the store in another vehicle so they didn't have to pull it off. Had they had to do that, i probably would have been there for a couple hours like the last time when I just needed them to be rotated. It sounds like they should take some lessons from the car wash group, and I'm sorry to them that this review is on their portion of the Yelp review. My advice, BUY YOUR TIRES SOMEWHERE ELSE and you'll save hours and hours, pay the same price and be treated nicely. read more

Can't beat the price. However when we went in and bought new tires they said it'd be a 2 hour wait for installation....it was over 3. They weren't very busy...my car was on lift for ever. Found out they broke my passenger side pressure sensor. Today I have to go to dealer and sit another couple hours to have it replaced and then Costco said they'd reimburse me. Frustrating and I won't be buying tires there again. Ps they never even said sorry for the damage. The car wash driver's side brush unit cracked the windshield of my 2014 Prius. I heard a loud pop/bang sound during the wash and thought the brush unit had hit my side view mirror it didn't occur to me to check the windshield. Once I left the lot a 2" crach began to form in the top left corner of the windshield and grew to several inches by end of the day. Costco requires you to complete an incident report at the membership counter and, in my case, they took photos of the damage. However, their insurance company will investigage and ultimately claim no reponsibility for the damage. read more
