Gotta say... I don't typically walk into a gas station and expect a five star experience. However, the gas prices here make it a five star visit every time! My in-laws live close to this station, and I make a point to get gas over here EVERY TIME because the prices are literally like forty cents (sometimes even MORE) cheaper than anywhere else. Like... 3 minutes ago NEW Beware of this place at night! In fact just to be safe, do not use your debit/credit card here even during the day shift. And be prepared for all manner of chaos/criminal activities if you frequent here after 11pm...the skinny chic who works night shift has a, um, "side business" going on & there's a constant stream of customers in/out at certain times of the night. These customers also take whatever they want from the shelves at her insistence. Other times you'll find no one manning the register at all. I feel terrible for the owners; they are local, good folks - they don't deserve to be disrespected. All of my neighbors have stopped shopping there completely & only a few still gas up during the day. I guess our community has to get worse before getting better ?? I went to the 7-Eleven and was purchasing two slurpees and a pizza to be made there. The man rang me up for $15.98. I paid with my EBT card and the screen had said approved after the transaction. He then said "oh you're paying with ebt?" And he proceeded to change the transaction amount to $10 more. I explained to him that the transaction had already gone through and I was not going to be charged again and he refused to let me take my drinks or food. Also the pin pad had a very fake look to it and I'm not sure if it was real or a scam. I was never refunded for my purchase. read more

Good location and pretty good prices! Usually gas stations on a busy junction tend to jack up their prices, but this Arco manages to resist that temptation. While not the cheapest in a 30 mile radius, still very competitive. Arco now allows you to pay with debit card which grabs you the cash rates! Win. Okay, let's start with the first thing. By the way: Warning: A SHIT SHOW: Do not go here. So, I go in to get coffee. A very rude woman (who turned out to be abusive later, and removed her name tag so I could not see her name) started standing over me when I was putting condiments in my coffee and saying I was getting in the way of her cleaning. So I stepped away and said, "By all means!" and then she started yelling at me for being in the way of her cleaning. I said, "You are abusive" and walked away while grabbing small little half and halves and sugar packets. Then, when I went to pay for the gas, two men at the front looked like they wanted to flirt with me rather than help me ring up. Then, a woman who looked angry said, "What pump?" and I said, "11" and she said, "You are not at 7." I said, "I did not say 7, I said 11" and she said, "You did not say 11!" And I said I had to move b/c I wanted to go to my job interview. So, it took her 10 minutes to ring me up b/c I have no idea what they were doing behind the register but it was not work as the line piled on. Second thing: I go out to pump my gas. It is not working. I am mad. Frustrated. Already feel devalued as a customer. I walk back in. I tell them the pump is not working. They say, "Too bad." So I go back out, still not working. The second time, they were CLEARLY mad that they had to do their job. ENTER THE ABUSIVE COFFEE LADY who said,"Oh, you are that woman that wanted coffee and would not let me do my job?" WTF? OMG. She said, I will walk outside with you. I told her I would not go out there with her after she abused me. It took SEVEN TIMES for the Manager to come out. Then, he was angry and yelling at me that he had to do his job. Said those words. Finally, I could miraculously pump gas. Horrific, abusive and toxic. As a woman, and a human being, I felt devalued, abused and discriminated against and treated in a sexist manner. I am 46. They treated me horrifically. I TRULY think they get away with this b/c they know they are the only ARCO in West Seattle on the Delridge side. They just feel they can get away with it. I really wish I could give them no stars. The employees here are so rude and very unhelpful and disrespectful. I come here all the time to get gas and air for my tire and the one time and"last" time to get air here I put my coins in the machine and go to put air in tire and the air pump is broke and my tire is pretty much sitting on its rim. The dude would not give me my quarters back to go get air across the street to shell. This is the most dishonest station I have ever been to. First visit ..the lie about the gas prices. Then.. I go in to the store and ask if I can put tap water in to the cup I brought in..the manager tried to charge me 1.00 for TAP WATER I. MY OWN CUP. Two months later I go back into this gas station the price on the sign says to $2.99 for regular gas if I pay cash. So I paid cash went out to the pump and it said 3.09. The gas station attendant just laughed at me literally. I asked what the manager's name was I asked what the owner's name was in the gas station attendant just kept laughing at me. Pulled in for gas before work at 4:30 a.m. when I should have been able to use the pumps, they were stopped and the attendant inside couldn't even come out to explain why he's simply just banged on the window to get my attention and made a motion of the tanks being dead. Just transferred jobs so been going here for months for lunch snacks. More times than not the spicy jumbo dogs are not what package says. Often they have cheese in them or just plain hot dogs. Cashier and manager love to argue with you and often get loud about it. Guess they feel if they get loud you'll just walk away. Worked for me. I'm looking for another close place to work for such snacks. I dont think the employees are mean at all but lack the general customer service concepts. The gas is cheap, but that's really the only good thing about it. Half the pumps are broken, one of them has been literally disassembled for several months. The trash cans are typically overflowing. There is never any squeegees and windshield cleaner out, and the buckets for them are always filled with trash anyway. It's a crapshoot as to whether or not the payment machines will accept your credit/debit card. There are always aggressive people begging for money too. This gas station has got to be the worst maintained place in the neighborhood. read more

This gas station has an antiquated payment system that regularly "eats" customer credit cards. When it finally happened to me, I asked for help from the employee inside the store, only to be told that the machine is broken and I should have used another one. There was no sign on the machine indicating that it was non-operational. Two separate customers in line to pay by cash said that it had happened to them at one time, too! Yet the employee was so rude to me and treated me like a pest. read more
