I've had Spectrum WiFi, and I can confidently say it's the worst TV and internet provider I've ever dealt with. Only Spectrum can turn a 45-minute episode into an hour and a half ordeal, thanks to constant service interruptions and terrible connectivity. Service from spectrum is immaculate but the employees at this store are not truthful. The manager said to get a second line to hold my free line and transfer once I get the transfer pin. Well she charged me $30 for the first line and $30 for the other line and didnt even apply either of the promotions. The free line nor the $15 line!!!! Secondly the store has a scruffy gentleman who compared his verizon to mine and spoke to me for 30 minutes about how is it "capitalism robbery" what they did with me and I was simply asking for my transfer pin. What can you say about spectrum? Well they have gotten better over the years. The customer service at the store level has been raised. They are more knowledgeable and attentive. The store is clean and you're greeted when you walk through the door. The prices are very reasonable on the phones and accessories. They do have more reps in the stores now so the wait is down to @10-15mins. Keep up the good work! read more

She's brunette with glasses, didn't care to remember her name. Bus she was no help , seemed like it was bothering her so much to help me. Basing my review on any ISP or mobile SP comparison. It's slightly above average. Their hours are well posted and leave the doors unlocked until closing time. Their queue is a sign in and wait electronic system. Much like everywhere else and has your wait position on a screen. Similar to at a doctor's office. Pricing and specials change most likely according to their contracts with manufacturers. Customer service seemed good. Can't blame them for the limited training and/or other departments slow queue. Basically the almost :30 minute experience (waiting for my turn and dropping off an unwanted router) I saw one rep on the phone the whole time helping out a customer for their mobile plan. Not sure the details but can you really pass the blame on the location? I don't think Yelp is the right forum to bring down for something like that. It's better to raise that to corporate. Parking is shared and doesn't seem like an issue. Not sure about restrooms. Don't think most competitors have restrooms anyways. First, I have to say that they are way cheaper than AT&T, and the internet is 10x faster. We had a couple of glitches after the initial installation that left us with dead spots, or really bad internet. We bought our own router, and discovered that the problem was WHERE they had placed the modem. I found a better place and they came out immeditately and moved it. Internet speeds are great now. They waived fees, as well. My issue was the rough way they ran the cable. The installer punched it through the wall to where it needed to go, but left the wall looking like the photo here, essentially a rough splintered hole with a cable sticking through it. He said there was nothing more he could do. Customer service confirmed that the installers don't carry coverplates, so I had to rig my own. My only beef so far is that the installation was done really roughly, and looked really bad when done. read more

I came in here and they have an efficient front iPad check in so your name goes in the fancy monitor to show you where you are in the line. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. There were about 13 people sitting on the ground or waiting outside when I arrived, and after putting my name into the magic computer, my name went to the top. Lots of dirty looks :) Honestly I think most people dread doing this, but I was a new customer- I signed up online- made an appointment - and they had an entire package for me to take home. Terrible business practice! I switched switched to fiber and call in to cancel my Spectrum service immediately in August. A month later I received a bill from Spectrum. I called and asked the reason for the bill. I was told my account was put in "seasonal hold" the charge (~$5) was for that. I explained to the rep, I wanted to cancel my service, not for seasonal hold. The rep told me it's been taking care of and remove the charge and everything. Then I got billed again a month later! I just called them again. The rep said she put in the order to "discontinue" my service, no for "seasonal hold" and cleared my balance. Let's see what will happen next month. read more

Im a literally sitting outside this location on Super Bowl Sunday . The staff here is outrageously rude. I was trying to exchange a equipment that does it work . Manny was the most aggressive customer service person I have ever come across . He was not helpful at all . Only to tell me that they did not have the equipment at this location . ( spectrum Corp sent me to this location ) When I asked where I needed to go ; his reply was ...." How am I suppose to know where every spectrum location is ? " I replied ... I have never been treated so poorly . After reading other reviews it seems that the Temecula location is known for this rude and aggressive service . I visited this store for the first time today and saw an elderly Mexican couple be treated very poorly by a salesperson named Cassie. She was refusing to provide them with any confirmation of their cancellation until I stepped in to help them. She ended up providing them a confirmation number only AFTER I stepped in and stood up for them and Cassie kept telling me to stay out of it. They came over and thanked me afterwards. Shame on her for being discriminatory! I requested an investigation with Spectrum and reported the incident to FCC. read more

This goes out to any prospective Spectrum customers as a warning. My experience is that this company engages in fraudulent practices which have left my wife out of pocket $1,500, which at the time of writing this review is still outstanding. When establishing new Spectrum internet service we were sold on moving our mobile phone service to spectrum as well because of the great service and dollar value. This transaction we would provide us $1500 to pay off our previous carrier for the actual mobile devices. We were told that a prepaid credit card for $1500 would be sent which it was however it was not a valid card. It's been 5 months dealing with a third party company to get a replacement card or check sent to no avail at this point. Spectrum is washing their hands of any responsibility and telling us the problem is between us and this third party company. Yesterday a salesman by the name of Jesus came knocking at our door. After explaining to him that it wasn't a good time, he proceeded to talk about how much money we could save if we made the switch from frontier to spectrum. After calming our babies, we eventually opened our door and let him in. Just as I was about to sit down and join his conversation with my Husband, I noticed he had switched topics (from how much we would save to preaching GOD). He said he was Christian and used to be Catholic. He pulled up passages from his phone and proceeded to preach to my Husband. I walked away and thought, maybe he will return to telling us about his company's promotion, and re-focus in a minute. He spent about another 15 minutes talking about God and Christianity. I finally asked him to leave. I was so turned off by this man, coming into our home and totally forgetting what his purpose was. Beware! Spectrum sends reps out and they don't stop until they get you. He, apparently had no respect for us as he just rambled on and on. My poor husband sat and let this man preach as that is the way my husband is. Me. I had to say, enough is enough! Out he went! Too bad for your company that he missed an opportunity. read more

Dishonest and deceptive sales. Horrible inconsistent customer service. Signed on for mobile service. Discovered later that they put my card on autopsy when I was told it wouldn't be. I was also told that my current phone didn't support E-sim so I was suckered into purchasing a phone through them with a trade in if my phone that supposedly didn't support E-sim. The offer they gave me for my trade in was later decreased due to receiving it via USPS one day late even though I mailed it out several days before the last day to return. I did my part and sent it in but I'm being held responsible for USPS not delivering before the last day to return. I made several calls to customer support to speak with someone regarding the reduced trade in and was told I didn't have credentials for them to speak with me even though I had been added as someone authorized to speak to on two different phone calls. The admin and owner of the account also authorized me on their online account. Supervisor told me they weren't going to allow me to return the phone I was tricked into purchasing when I was lied to about my original phone being incompatible for E-sim. I ported my number out to my original phone and began service using the E-sim method with no issues. The service was horrible and the phone even more so. If something was wrong with my trade in then I could accept the lower offer but it was in perfect condition and the ONLY reason for the decreased value was it being received one day late. I don't work for the postal service and the postmarked date when I mailed it in was well before the last day to return. We had a natural disaster a few days before I mailed it which slowed the delivery to Spectrum so that had a slight impact on operations in my state and all states surrounding me. Hurricane Helene. I live in TN. I REFUSE TO PAY FOR THE PHONE SOLD TO ME UNDER DISHONEST BUSINESS PRACTICES. I've returned it to the company whether they want it or not and I have proof of that delivery as well. From day one spectrum, their business practices have been far from acceptable. No one makes notes on your account when speaking to customer service and the refusal to speak with me when I put calls in to reach them. I will never recommend their services to anyone and will take every opportunity, when it becomes available, to let others know how they do business. read more

There is probably no end to negative reviews about spectrum. I honestly don't think its the company but the people that work there that makes the place a bad place. They have this little kiosks that you pay your bill fast and convenient. I walked in to pay my bill and the thing doesn't work. One of the employees that came to supposedly help me made stupid comments about my card maybe faulty, doing it too fast etc. basically blaming me even though he mentioned they have been having issues with the kiosks payment. And yes i understand it's a machine and it breaks down. But it's their job to make sure it gets fixed and working properly. And to the employee who was just ignorant and trying his best to shift blame to the customer, kudos to your kind! Garbage customer service. This place has the WORST customer service ever!!! If you have an iPhone, don't even bother going in there if it's broken. I had the rudest employee ever Mateo. I had him twice in a row when my new iPhone 14 pro max stopped working and he advised me that "he couldn't do anything about it and to go to the Apple Store" he told me that they can't do anything if there's a problem with the phone because it's an apple product. And then the Apple Store the first time sent me back to spectrum because I got the phone from spectrum. So I got no help the first time. This morning my phone wouldn't turn on or anything so I went back to the spectrum store this morning right when it opened and I got this same rude jerk again and this time told me the same thing, and I told him what happened last time and called me a liar and said "they never told you that, i don't know what employee you had, but they're wrong" and then told him I saw the manager and he told me the same thing and then said the manager was lying. Then I called my fiancé about the situation and Mateo called my fiancé a liar and then he rudely grunted at my fiancé and at me and continued to not help us. BEWARE!!!!! Such a disappointing end to years of service with Spectrum. I cancelled my service over the phone in September, scheduled to end in the first week of October. I was then told that all I had to do was turn in the boxes/equipment etc. to a UPS store, which I did. All bills were paid up to date. I then received a bill weeks later for service provided for the entire month of October! At NO TIME during the lengthy conversation I had with the representative in September about turning off service, was I told that if service went even ONE day into the following month, that SPECTRUM HAS A POLICY that they won't prorate the bill and you ARE LIABLE for the entire month! I called to discuss this bill with Spectrum. The initial rep was no help at all. I then spoke with a supervisor, Tiffany B. Again no help at all. I was told that there is a disclaimer somewhere on my bill giving notice of this policy, and that the rep should have informed me of this when I called to cancel my service. However, they would look into the rep who helped me that day, and they would make sure that the rep does inform all customers in the future. However, as for me, since it is THEIR policy, that there is nothing they could do for me and I am liable for the bill for the entire month! Along with that, the internet service constantly had a very weak signal! I had to get internet signal boosters installed, and even then I had continued problems with the internet... even the phone land line. How does that happen?? Extremely disappointing and I will not be using Spectrum in the future! read more

Spectrum Cable Internet and TV has intermittent quality of service. Internet has been 90% reliable. I have had to reset my modem and router device multiple times a week to get it up and running. I recently had a rate increase by 60% and now trying to cancel my Basic Cable...my complaint is when it's time to cancel the service, expect to wait over 20-30minutes. read more

Took out Spectrum's internet and TV service on a temporary visit to California. Explained in the store when we would be leaving and they said no problem. Took the equipment back on our leaving day to be told that we were one day past the monthly billing cycle date. So they charged a full month (nearly $200) when we had their equipment for one day of that month. The store knew the dates and nobody alerted us to this fact. Recently I had Verizon for 3.5 years. During that time when I called customer service and would be on eternal hold. So advance forward to April 2016....Verizon transfers our service to Frontier. Service went to he'll in a hand basket. TV service was awful....couldn't get my on demand and spent hours literally on the phone with them. This went on for five weeks. Then I did my due diligence and checked the satellite guys out and found all Thier hidden costs. Also checked out Time Warner. They were very competitive priced. Day came for installation, they were not only on time but early. Neat and clean work, had shoe booties for inside work. After a couple weeks I needed to call customer service, they answered the phone promptly after hitting the prompts. What a breath of fresh air.
