Went to Spectrum in Porter Ranch and once again was helped out. I had recently changed my plan, due to the fact I needed to reduce my bill. Not only did Hudson reduce my Bill but took the time to explain everything to me. Ivan helped Hudson out a little. Both of these guys took their time and helped me. I am forever grateful to them. This is my second time here and both experiences have been no frills. This location is located a large shopping plaza with a Whole Foods and AMC theatre. This is a popular shopping center, so parking can be a chore, but the side where Spectrum is located has less traffic. When you walk in, you need to check in using the iPad. If you already made an appointment online, you still need to check in, but if you don't, just enter in your info and sit and wait for them to call your name. I didn't have an appointment scheduled, but the wait time was about 10 minutes. Luckily, they have plenty of seating options and it's nice and air conditioned inside. They also provide a 30 minute trial WiFi you can sign up for while waiting. Cellular in this center is hit or miss and not the greatest for T-Mobile users. Very odd, because there's an actual T-Mobile store at the front of the center. I came here to return my modem as I cancelled my Spectrum internet and went with T-Mobile in home and have been very happy with it. No more disconnects or service interruptions. The best part is I'm only paying $50 with T-Mobile for the same speeds I get from Spectrum for $92. The return process was painless and didn't have to deal with any hard sell or deals to try get me to stay with them. Which is the worse. read more

When we got called we told them what we wanted and right away stating there isn't enough time all they can do is do it online then proceeded to say actually something is blocking them from upgrading me even though I told them I spoke to spectrum on the phone and they said to go in..... just the worse customer service not even trying to help. Went to the Spectrum store just to return equipment and it turned into a complete waste of time. The wait was ridiculous for something that should take 2 minutes. Was a customer for over eight years with all spectrum service services from TV to Internet to mobile. Moved out of my old home and no longer needed Internet service because the new Home came with Internet included. Because I was a few days late and canceling the service they charged me for the entire month. Initially, they claimed that they can't see us usage, which was actually a lie. Then they changed direction and simply said that their subscription based and that they cannot and will not give a credit for a month that I did not use. Spectrum has an effective monopoly in Porter Ranch, and the service quality reflects it. Internet outages are frequent and often occur at the worst possible times. As of 2/8/26 at 5:00 PM, there was no internet service during the Super Bowl, which is unacceptable for a residential provider. This is not an isolated incident--high winds almost always result in service outages, and downtime can last for extended periods. Spectrum has replaced my modem twice, yet the problem persists. The underlying reliability issues have clearly not been resolved. Consistent outages, poor infrastructure resilience, and lack of dependable service make this extremely frustrating, especially when there are no viable alternatives in the area. I did not have to wait more than five to ten minutes all three times I went in without an appointment, and the team who works there was friendly and efficient every single time. We located it ourselves in the store, box in hand. We go to the counter to checkout and they took the box away and said we cannot purchase or upgrade our device. Later after several irate phone calls to their customer service line, the reason the store turned us away was because they could not upgrade a business line in the store as that can only be done online. I went to this spectrum office on a wednesday night 2/25 after work to trade out an old cable box and remote combo that had been giving me some trouble. they have you sign in on a waiting list, and even though there were only 4 people in front of me, I was there about 30 minutes until I got up to one of the desks to be helped. but the main problem was that the cable box they gave me when I traded in the old one was the wrong kind of box, so when I took it home to try and hook it up (which i've always been able to do) it didn't work. I tried all night on Wednesday and on Thursday too, before making an appointment with a guy from spectrum to come over and straighten it out. another guy i talked to at spectrum trump's support said that it was an internet connectivity issue, which it largely wasn't. he said that the box they gave me had a different coding of some sort, and that's why it didn't work. if I had it to do over again, I would just keep the old stuff instead of being without tv for a day and a half. they do have lots of spots to charge up your phone there, and very cushy couches, which are good ideas if they are going to have you there for so long for something so simple as an equipment swap. read more

The third time, David came out, and we were shocked at his level of knowledge and expertise. He did a thorough job checking and rechecking all of the connections and reordering a new modem and router. He also changed all of the old connections all over the house just to make sure everything was working correctly. David was an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable young man. After a year, the cellular network coverage has become terrible. The phone shows either a single bar or an SOS. The phone has the latest software version. A year ago, the service was good, both for cellular coverage and home internet. A year later, everything has significantly worsened, and the fee has increased. Terrible service. This was a quick and easy process for me when I had to come here to pick up my TV box equipment. I of course made an appointment online beforehand the morning of because I knew if I don't, I would be stuck waiting at the store. Finding parking at the place is kind of easy because it's in a big plaza. I was about 10 minutes late due to traffic but they didn't sat anything. Once I arrived inside the store, a person told me to put in my confirmation number and I saw on the TV that I was the next one up since I made an appointment. The process took no more than like 4 minutes because they tried to promote their mobile service but I wasn't interested. This is just the beginning of my attempt to make it known how terrible my customer service experience was with Spectrum in general and manager Farman specifically. We have been dealing with an issue on a brand new phone purchased on July 5th. When my wife went in today Farman pretended not to remember her. Rude and insulting. At one point told her that she should consider changing providers if we weren't happy. I am on a mission now to find out who Farman's boss is. This will go further. They intentionally make it nearly impossible to contact them. They have no incoming phone call capabilities. Farman...you are terrible at your job.
