Atyanna and Asst Mgr Jessie not only helped in getting an additional service that we went in for but asked about our mobile carrier in conversation and was able to do above and beyond getting my sister a fabulous deal, switched to Spectrum immediately. (I still own a bit for my phone but will be switching to Spectrum when completed) In this day and age when senior citizens are mostly not seen or heard. Poor customer service . When the employee are presented with questions about services or billing they do not have an answer and get somewhat rude and agresive. Also employees are to busy talking to ech other rather than paying attention to the customers. read more

This is horrible. The line is crazy on a Monday, and they don't have enough staff to handle the crowd. This is ridiculous. They offer good plans, but the service is terrible. This needs to be addressed. There are at least 30 people waiting here since 5 PM, and now it's 7 PM, with only two staff members remaining. This is unacceptable. Also, as a service provider, their chargers don't work. Instead of putting up a note or marker indicating they're out of order, we have to plug in and use them, only to find out they don't work. Don't find out right away, and then you assume your phone is charging, but it's not. When you ask a staff member, they just say, "Oh yeah, it doesn't work," and I tell them they should put at least a note saying it doesn't work so we don't waste our time. They just look at me and don't say a word. Bad service. read more

We were there about 5 minutes before our appointment and were put as next/first in the appointment queue as soon as we checked in. We were called right on time. Daisy worked with us and was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We completed a purchase and transferred everything over in about a half hour, maybe a little less. Overall, a great experience. Don't expect to get quick service if you don't make an appointment. This is a very busy store, and although the employees are working as quickly as is expedient, they will give each customer the attention necessary to complete their inquiry before getting to the next one. read more

Gave this company two chances to fix our internet issues. After the service they told us we needed a new wireless router so we upgraded. Still had latency issues so they sent another technician. Worked good for a couple days then latency issues came back. Always paid our bills on time too. We decided we had enough and switched to Frontier and no longer having any issues. I am aware that I am the first person in history to leave a GLOWING review of a "cable company", but here goes! My internet stopped for no known reason last week. Since I couldn't look up the help number, I just drove to this location. It was well staffed, despite the crowd of customers. A pleasant guy, Jason, came up almost immediately and advised me that it might be the modem. He said to come back with it and they'd switch it, and to ask for him. I drove home (10 minutes), got it, and came back. Jason was "in the back" (lunch?) but a nice guy named Jonathan immediately grasped what was needed and issued me a new modem. Time elapsed: another 10 minutes. I was as pleased as could be - until I got it home and properly set it up, then logged in to initiate. It made me issue myself a security passcode - six times in a row! I wasn't doing anything wrong! So I called the support number and...was on hold for only a few seconds before Damian/Damien in Texas picked up, handled it, and I'm happy as can be. I have NEVER had a more PLEASANT experience with any internet provider! They've obviously upped their game, probably companywide, but for certain in Oxnard. THANK YOU to Jason and Jonathan. You get what you pay for I guess. I have their internet and TV so the mobile is free for a year. It took them a full week to transfer my service over from my original carrier. Service is spotty, usually 1 or 2 bars maximum. If you use a music app, you had better have your songs downloaded to the device or it will just stop playing due to low signal. Happens all the time. I'll be searching for a new carrier soon. This mobile network is terrible. read more

If I could give them a ZERO, I would!! I cancelled service on 8/25 at my daughter's apartment, and on 9/9 was billed another $95!! I called to speak with someone, even went the up the ladder from the first person I spoke to, only to be told the billing cycle begins on the 20th of the month (so we were 5 days into the new cycle) but they can't prorate or issue refunds. They can basically steal a month of service cost from you!! I also brought up the fact that I received notifications almost daily where the service was out at the apartment but I certainly never saw a reduction in my bill to offset ALL the time she didn't have service to get her school work completed! What's a circus! This was my first and last time ever coming in! I Just came in to drop off a xumo box. I walk in the door . No acknowledgment no greet. This was my first time ever coming in and had no clue what to do. I'm waiting in line and they just ignore me. I try to go up to a represent to ask a simple question on what should I do. Ignored.. they just look right past you. I had to literally wave my hands in the air to get any type of attention and even then that was barely enough. The associate was rude and told me I need an appointment. Ok understandable if that's the process. But as an associate you could have told me of if I needed help instead of me waiting there in line for 30mins. You all see me and do nothing. I will never step foot in here again. One worker was arguing with a costumer. So hostile and overwhelming. Calling customer service the representative are sooo nice and sweet. It's hard to think that the actual store its self is so rude. The 5 stars is for the Technician Jose who showed up to set up my internet. My window was 11-12 and he arrived at 11. I shared that we'd just moved and had a scarred kitty hiding somewhere. After Jose set up my internet and router he took possession of my old modem and returned it for me. Finish the job in less than 30 minutes & found my Kitty. Maybe Spectrum has bad ratings and some reviews are unsavory. I think my technician deserves the good review for the job he did. read more

Not a very transparent business. I upgraded my internet service in April and now my bill went up a total of $40 dollars more than I was paying back in March. It was supposed to be a $20 dollar increase but because they didn't disclose that my promotion was about to expire I found the surprise today. They won't let you go back to the old plan. This is outrageous and they truly can't care less to help you lower the bill or provide a promotional code since they didn't disclose all the above. I have been a customer since 2022. Had to return equipment I was erroneously sent. Received a few emails I needed to return it otherwise I'd be charged. Stopped by this location and there were 10 people waiting. The staff is painfully slow here. At one point there was only 2 people attending customers and the line grew to 20. I recommend making an appointment. read more

Gee yikes, these reviews for Spectrum are scary stuff. So when I needed help with my mobile plan, I was expecting the worst. But surprisingly, it was the opposite. Teresa was my customer service rep and she was able to help me out with all my mobile issues. She did a phenomenal job and deserves praise. Thanks Teresa if you ever read this! Also I like to add that even though it seemed pretty busy, I was helped in a timely matter. They have about 10 customer service reps and when you get there, you put your name and number in a virtual queue. You can walk around and look at stuff or just sit and play Candy Crush. I would say overall it took about 15 mins till I got help. I thought that was pretty good. So will I come back here if I ever needed help again? Beware of this company's business practices. If you have monthly internet or any other services with them, and you quit service prior to the end of the billing cycle, you will be charged for the entire month. My billing cycle was from August 30 to September 29. I stopped service on September 7, assuming I would be charged the prorated amount for the month. I guess I should have read the fine print at the bottom of the billing statement: "Spectrum Terms and Conditions of Service - In accordance with the Spectrum Terms and Conditions of Service, Spectrum services are billed on a monthly basis. Spectrum does not provide credits for monthly subscription services that are cancelled prior to the end of the current billing month." I understand that this practice was instituted sometime in mid-2024. Can this company get any more predatory? read more

This location is worse than the DMV! Is that possible! YES!! Think about that before you waste your time here! I came in the other day, to return a modem/router or whatever it's called, their device doesn't work 1% as well as what I bought...so rather than throw it in the garbage, I did what I was suppose to do and return it to a site like this. You walk in, but there is no greeter, not one person to route your concern. So you can't just "drop in" to return their bad equipment. Instead you should know, without being told, that you have to put your name on a list so that someone can talk to you. There is a counter, but no one is there to help you and if you manage to get the attention of someone, the will ignore you in favor of their sign in sheet. Also, there were a ton of people standing around because there are only a few places to sit. Again, worse than DMV. They don't have the courtesy of providing chairs while you wait! This place will not treat you like a human being. No one here was taught to be nice or transmit anything resembling courtesy. Just a number to get through...and they pass this off as "service". I was there around 2pm, there were a list of 10-15 names ahead of me! Frustrated, I told the person, "I'm just going to leave this here" and with that I finally get a hurried comment to go across the street to the UPS store and "mail it to us". First they asked me to make my last payment and call back in 24 hrs to cancel...I do so and send in my equipment thru ups. at this point im thinking ok all done...WRONG I got a bill for 114$ dollars through my email I call and they tell me my account is still active and connected! I had to talk to a service rep then got transferred to a "Specialist" who then called a technical team member to figure out they had my equipment for a while now but then went on to tell me you could of used your own equipment to stay online like wait what sense does that make but whatever they cleared the fees and after 45 minutes of back and forth I am happy to say I am no longer an inmate at the spectrum wifi pool read more

I went to this Spectrum store today because I received a letter from Spectrum (a bit ago) advising that the router they have issued to me will no longer be supported. I want to make it clear that I am not asking for an upgrade or new equipment on my own. Spectrum's new "state of the art service" required me to make this exchange. I also want to make clear that the letter from Spectrum advised that my Internet service could go down as early as May 21, 2024 if this exchange wasn't completed by then. I called Spectrum customer service yesterday. I was advised by customer service that I could go to a Spectrum store to pick up the new equipment and then bring the old router back after the fact. The original letter also indicates the same process. It even states that the equipment could be returned though UPS after the fact. When I arrived at the store, I signed in and had a very short wait time. When I advised the customer service agent what I needed, he advised me that the store's policy is to allow new equipment to be exchanged for the old equipment only. I told him what I had been told over the phone and I tried to show him the letter. His response is that Spectrum customer service doesn't work at his store so it really didn't matter what customer service or the letter advised. He also didn't attempt to offer any other solutions, which is what caused me to write this less than stellar review. Are Spectrum stores and Spectrum customer service two different companies? I am giving two stars rather than zero because (1) the wait time was very short and (2) when I called customer service (again) after the store experience, they advised that it is store policy to only give new equipment when returning old equipment. Customer service admitted that the letter didn't clarify that but they also suggested that the store should have been able to come up with a solution since this is a Spectrum required exchange. In order to have this task completed in a timely manner to avoid losing Internet access without ordering equipment to be delivered (which could take as long as 10 days), I had to book a tech appointment which will cost me $65. Since my existing equipment is "working", they don't consider it a Spectrum issue. The tech will bring the new router in exchange for the old one and also verify that our service is up and running before he leaves. Did I mention that Spectrum expects each customer to disconnect and return the old router, pick up a new router, AND activate their own service online? I've spoken to many people who ended up calling tech services because it didn't work. I will say that the Spectrum customer service phone agents have always been particularly helpful to us and were very responsive with this issue. We have also been lucky enough to have techs who are very helpful (up until now). Our tech is coming tomorrow. Wish us luck. I might be adding more. read more

I gambled on spectrum streaming because my basic cable TV was too expensive. Told I would save a lot of money. It has been nothing but a headache, including the XUMO box and buffering issues. I am told many discount supplied when I signed up six months ago, but when those expire, I will owe $50 more than I was paying originally with Cable. The app and website have numerous references to troubleshooting that are not clear to me.
