We just got new business phones from Advantage Telecom. It was as smooth as possible transition from the old style phone system to new. No loss of service in the transfer. The new phones and the features they have are fantastic. The crew was great and I was shocked at how well it went. Nothing like some of the horror stories I've heard from others using AT&T and the large companies. Competent, quality local service and support is the best in my book. In January of 2015, our office received a telemarketing phone call from Frank with Advantage Telecom offering bundled telephone and internet services for our business. Frank indicated to us that his company, Telecom, could provide telephone and internet services for a cost that was less than we were paying AT&T. We provided Frank with our January and/or February 2015 AT&T bill, which included taxes. In February 2015, Frank (Telecom) provided the office with a "Savings Summary, " in which he compared our current Provider's cost at $291.00 to potential service with Advantage Telecom at a cost of $251.15. In my opinion, Telecom misrepresented the actual cost of their services, because we are paying more than we were paying AT&T for services. I have attempted to resolve this with Telecom and, initially, they would not return phone calls until I requested that another provider port our phone numbers. Telecom has refused to release our phone numbers and I had to file an FCC complaint against them. Although, the FCC requires telephone providers to release phone numbers when requested by consumers; Telecom has refused to release our phone numbers. Following the FCC complaint, I noticed that our internet had drastically slowed. I sent an email to Telecom and conducted a speed test on our internet speed. At that time, I learned that they were not providing the internet speed they represented that they would provide. Based on what has occurred, it is my opinion that Telecom is not a company that I want to do business with. read more

Franklin and Advantage are awesome! My internet speed at my office was much too slow for a new piece of equipment we purchased. Unfortunately, my building was not wired for the service Advantage offers so Franklin worked with the telephone company to get it done. The process did take longer than anticipated, but he worked very hard to to move the phone company along and now our internet is great! Every once in a while Franklin pops in our office just to say hi and check how we are doing. read more

I live out in the middle of nowhere. Thank goodness for Advantage Telecom servicing our internet connection to allow me to be a domestic goddess and work at home.
