Purchasing an internet service at Frontier will just give you a lot of extra drama in life. Nothing but trouble and poor service. They will also let you pay $50 for the restocking fee when you cancel service. Never I used the internet service once, because when the box was delivered the internet service kept on saying Offline. Despite contacting Frontier 3 times to turn off the terrible phone service it took the 4th call to end the non-existent service with them. Then despite paying the final bill we were referred to collections for yet another bill. After 3 calls from collections and providing the dates of payments we gave up and paid yet another bill. Do not use Frontier as a communications service unless you like paying for no service and then paying extra bills. read more

We are still experiencing very poor upload speeds, even with paying for 1 gig fiber. Download speeds have dropped as well. We will probably need to change to another internet provider. read more

I would give them ZERO stars. WHEN the service is working, it is fast and the cost is great, although... if you have a problem, which you will, they are useless. Since having them as a provider, I have had WEEKS with no internet, and all I get is a run around, and every time I contact them, which is daily at this point, they schedule an apt for the following day, only to close the ticket and say the problem is resolved. And NO ONE came out, and the problem is NOT resolved. Not to mention EVERY call to them ends with them attempting to upsell you. Read the Room, people! I will be returning to Spectrum and continue to pay too much for slower service, although I NEVER had these problems with them. STAY AWAY from Frontier. read more

I have had phone & Internet service with this company for 20+ years,. When I moved, I found that they were still the main provider, so I opted to keep my service: I'm near a Naval Base, so everyone here has crappy service, but this is the worst! We've been having connectivity issues since 4th of July.. Phone service is worse, full on static & an odd ringing as if I'm dialing a fax service. Even after I tell them, I've changed filters on both lines, I've switched cables, I've switched phones, & I have reset the modem.... They still me links to "troubleshoot" I called on the 15th: I was told that I's have full service by 10:00 pm and a tech would be out the next day. NOTHING, today is the 23rd, I've contacted Frontier 3 times now... STILL NOTHING! Every-single-time I chat with these people, I end up having to explain the problem 4 times, before I get someone who is able/willing to help me, and Still no resolution. What is that about? Worse, they are so polite, and I know it is not the fault of the customer service representative, but never once did they offer me a refund for services that I do not have... I had to speak to 4 different people to get a partial refund.... I am now in the process of searching for a new provider. read more

I switched from Spectrum to Frontier because my Spectrum internet service was expensive and started to buffer. Frontier internet sounded like a dream...fiber internet and a new mesh eero router. It wasn't a dream; it was actually a NIGHTMARE. After 3-4 days of terrible internet service, the router stopped working. Over a two and a half day time period, I called service support more than 5 times. I had to wait more than 15 minutes on hold each time I called. They were not able to fix it over the phone and said my brand new eero router was bad and they would overnight a new router to me. They lied and it took two days so I had zero internet during that time. Once the new router came, I set it up as the directions stated. MY INTERNET STILL DIDN'T WORK. At this point I couldn't stomach more calls to Frontier and I called Spectrum. I begged Spectrum to take me back which they were more than happy to do. I was able to glet a technician from Spectrum to my house the same day. He installed a new router and my internet now works perfectly AND I am paying less than I was originally with Spectrum. Moral of the story: Stay away from Frontier. The Spectrum technician told me that Frontier's fiber internet is really good and that he loves the eero routers BUT he said that Frontier has really bad customer service particularly in Ventura County. He was able to tell me right away what the problem was with my Frontier Internet and told me the the phone support that I got from Frontier was a waste of my time. There was nothing that could have been done over the phone and they should have known that based on everything I told them and tried the first time I called Frontier. read more

We have frontier fiber for internet and phone at work. It has been down for 4 days I have spoken with 4 different people and received 4 different answers. Absolutely clueless. FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING!!!! Frontier promised a $75 VISA card on their website which was confirmed by their phone agent, for signing up for their 500 MBS service. The service was slow, so before the first month ended, I called to complain, and they talked me into upgrading to the more expensive gigabyte service. They told me that because my upgrade was within the first month, and before I received the $75 card, they'd upgrade the card to a $100 card for the giga service. I never got either card, and when I called to complain, they told me that by upgrading my service, I lost the right to receive a rewards card. I have reported them to the Califonia Public Utilities Commission and will be speaking to some class action attorneys about the possibility of suing Frontier on behalf of everyone who they ripped off. read more

Wow! I couldn't believe the stupidity of the people in their call center. All I wanted was to order the Internet. Unfortunately NO ONE.... can correct an order that was messed up. They can't seem to run a credit check on someone who has multiple credit cards, highest credit score available and the bill is less than $ 50.00 a month. I'm glad I ran into the situation on signup...it probably saved me hours of angst from having bad service. I started this on 9-2-22 and found out there was a problem after calling back on 9-9-22.. their response..." wait a couple more business days for a call back! I went to a competitor and had the order done in 22 minutes....which included handling a few minor issues. I cancelled spectrum because got really expensive and found frontier with a really good deal, oh what a night mare! First 2 month worked ok, some turning of and on the router to get internet going but last week not working, so I called numerous times to get it fixed, so they send me everything new except a new phone cable what they thought was the problem in the first place !?!?!? Calling again and Beatrice from Frontier tells me they have to send a technician over in like 2 weeks because NOTHING is available sooner! So my plea is: stay with Spectrum or AT&T or Verizon and pay a bit more, ore be a cave girl with no internet and tv like me just I fell for a good deal from FRONTIER ( they suck BIG TIME) stay away... far away! read more
