Spectrum internet service is very sporadic. Every day my wifi goes out. I received a notice that my modem was outdated so I changed it out and I still had the problem. I later called about my wi fi and the person I talked to said I needed a new modem! One person walked me through resetting the modem and router but it didn't resolve the problem. Yesterday the person said yes there was a problem and they will call when everything is resolved. Spectrum called in another hour and said all was good. Then from 8:00-9:30 p.m. I had no internet service. I would change but I have a bundled package. read more

So a spectrum representative came to my house today and got my information and told me that I could pick up my box at the nearest spectrum so I drive 15min to my local spectrum location and This rude worker named Michael told me I had to wait for my stuff get mailed. Do yourself a favor and DON'T EVER COME TO THIS STORE!!!!!! They have the WORST customer service I've ever come across and the worst ATTITUDE towards the POTENTIAL NEW CUSTOMERS. His response, "well, you're in the wrong store" moves on to continue typing and ignores me again. I would give then a zero if I could. I have been a customer for over 25+ years and cancelled service effective today. They wouldn't even work with me. I told them $170 a month is way to much. Why are new customers getting discounts like $120 for what I have. Yet I have been a loyal customer for so long and no consideration. It was "sorry can't help you/ no promotions available for existing customers right now". That is why customers are going elsewhere. We would rather go elsewhere where we can get a better deal. I called Time Warner to schedule a cancellation for April 26th. The customer service rep confirmed this. 3 days after my call, my internet stops working. I try to sign on to my online account, nothing. Turns out the rep CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT 30 days too early! I immediately call customer service. They agreed that it was their mistake, but they told me I WILL HAVE TO PAY EXTRA to fix my internet, even though it was their fault they cancelled my account. $50 a month instead of $15 I was paying before Spectrum came into the picture. The sad thing? They won't even honor my original pricing for the last month. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever come across. Promptly switching to U-verse. (It's cheaper than Spectrum btw) and customer service is a lot better. Don't waste your time with TWC. The phone customer service is terrible. Came in to return my equipment after having it a month due to choppy service and one of the receivers fail after 2 attempts to fix it. Am sitting in the store at 3:00 and a few minutes later 3 of 4 employees disappear while there's 10 people in line... really? I want to preface this review by first saying that the staff I dealt with at this office were kind & listened to my beef. That being said, this is the only place I could complain about Spectrum. Numerous times we cannot access the dvr system, we get a message that says to try later (which has been hours), the system would not recognize my hyphenated name to pay the bill, so I'm forced to visit them. I was promised that I could access TCM on-line, which I can't. The service folks are very nice, but there are so many bugs with this company that really needed to be addressed waaaay before they started it. read more

Exceptional service! I walked in today to drop off a cable box because we cancelled our cable for various reasons. We still have the internet through them. I was helped by Jesse and he was really helpful. He even suggested a few money saving tips. I probably waited about 8 minutes til they called my number but it's nothing compared to the good service I received today. Wait time is around 45 mins, but there's a seafood spot in the same lot and a taco truck too. There's Chinese across the street and a bakery. Plenty to do while you wait. read more

Never hated a company so much. Got TWC internet because I had no other choice. What a bureaucratic disaster! Screwed up my install about 10 different ways and took more than a week to actually get activated. Then they started charging me for cable service I didn't order or want. I waited all week for my appointment to have internet in my house... When he finally gets here, the company sends me a "specialist" in a red Truck, with no company logo or company vehicle... Guy tells me the neighbor does not let him into his property to climb a pole to install it, and wanted me to go talk to them to try to convince them to let him in.....
