I placed an order for a Wi-Fi box on line through spectrum a.k.a. Time Warner cable and was instructed to pick it up at their Glendora office. When I arrive I walk in I hear the customer service rep scolding a customer I then go to another clerk who when I tell her I was just there to pick up the box began to interrogate me about my account. No Hi, Hello or How are you. They were both extremely rude, unfriendly and impossibly ugly and I recommend not going to that store to anyone! Shame on them! read more

I had the worse experience from the manager of this store. He was very unhelpful , condescending. I was trying to just drop off some cable boxes we no longer used and to exchange a faulty box for a good one. Since he said I was not on the authorized account he would not help me at all. Would not call my wife who is on the account to verify myself. All this after I was skipped in line until another customer has to bring to this overweight manager that I had been waiting and was before everyone in the store. Needless to say I will never go back to their store. Refer them to anyone. Of course I went to the West Covina mall location and their was no problem at all. I truly hope someone who is in management and that wants to know what goes on at their store talks to this extremel ogre of a person. He should be written up at the very least. If I was his supervisor I would have terminated him. Anyways be really wary of this location. I wish I would have got his name. But he was the really unattractive and fat ogre looking shrek type looking ghoul. Thanks and have a great day. read more

This cable/internet company just took away The Game Show Network away from my parents' service without warning, they have had the station since they started with the company and is one of the only stations my elderly mom watches and gains much enjoyment from. When called, the company said they should never have had the channel. Poor! Will make me think twice of using them when I am ready to get cable! read more

I went to pay my bill in the store and they had 8 people waiting and 6 inline just to sign in with only two people working. Then a 3rd comes out starts to work and one goes on lunch still leaving two and the wait times growing to rediculous wait. Never seen people work this slow or 0 regaurds for there customers time. I wish time waner cable never got bought out by the worst cable and internet company around (charter comunications). And a heads up if you ever need an extention last minute there extentuon policeys changed january 20 2017 and insted of mailing out policay changes they just do it leaving us as costomers in the dark. I accidentally posted this review on my husband's account but I want everyone to be aware of what happened to me with Spectrum. On November 1, 2018, I went into Spectrum in Glendora and set up an account for my mother-in-law going into assisted living at Atria in San Dimas. They gave me the equipment and a phone that never worked. After a couple of months someone finally came out and we had to demand a new router and they gave her a new phone number. My mother-in-law is incapacitated and we moved her yesterday to a facility that has TV and phone service so I went to Spectrum to take back the equipment and they would not cancel the service because my mother-in-law was not with me! Sadly, Atria pays the bill and they have had trouble with Spectrum over the years trying to get the service canceled when someone leaves their facility. If you are helping the elderly with their service, BEWARE! read more

I hate the fact that spectrum has rights to Dodger games and is available in my area but is unable to provide service for my home.

Terrible customer service. After trying to cancel service over the phone the first lady just hung up on me, they must get paid on how many accounts they save. I called back and after a long wait I got girl who was rude on the phone would not take no for answer. It took over an hour to cancel my service. When she finally gave up trying to keep me for a customer after probably 20 lower price offers she became rude. Then said there will be a disconnect fee. I said is this fee in my contract, she said no. When I said then you can not just charge me a fee. She said they have to send someone out to disconnect the cables from my house which I then found out from the office was a lie. What a rude, unprofessional group of morons on the phone. I then went a few days later to the store on Grand Ave to return my cable boxes. The man who helped me would not even acknowledge I existed. When I spoke to him he would not even answer me. When he was done verifying I returned everything he just gave me a receipt and said "you are all set". What a dick. Time Warner Cable service was bad and that is why I cancelled service. Our internet service never worked right, our devices would drop service and the TV would go blank sometimes for reason and then our shows would re-appear. I called the service who sent someone out to try and fix it. They replaced our modem but it did not fix the problem. We cancelled and got Verizon Fios and all our problems were solved. As soon as the Fios wen in, none of the problems we had still existed even though Time Warner said the problem was with our devices. Time Warner - you suck read more

Horrible customer service. The guy I talked with is very unprofessional and rude. Worst experience ever

For company not people working there...Thanks time warner /spectrum for another increase in our bills no warning nothing at all.. You suck ass big time 64.99 for internet??? Insane.. I will be sharing my disgust with so many others via social media . read more

Terrible internet service constantly going out. No customer service over the phone. 60 bucks a month for what??? Worst ever definitely switching providers! read more

No problem with the service but employees are so angry here. Kind of reminded me of the DMV minus the bullet proof glass lol.

Horrible. Raising my monthly rate to almost 70.00 dollars from 40.00. When I called, and ask if there was any promotions, they said no and didn't care that I was going to cancel my service read more

They make you sign in and wait. Only 1 person at the register and 2others walking around. Wait time depends on how much bs the person attending you wants to talk. I get they want to make you happy but damn they upset you in other ways. Long wait times. Bad computer hardware. I'm still in the system for equipment I don't even have read more

Cancelled my account 17 days early in the billing cycle but they will NOT refund the balance. Said it was an update on the contract. So I guess they got the last laugh! Buyers beware. read more

Super unstaffed. Staff also seems miserable and I feel bad for them. I'd be miserable too if I was this under staffed! There was a ton of people waiting and only two employees. One employee had a customer for the entire hour I was there so there was only one employee working on the line. It's so ridiculous. I was also rushed during my visit. Only positive to being here are free mini water bottles but that's about it. read more

I am beyond mad at this point! I have sat on hold for 3 hours combined, and getting absolutely nore with the representatives that I get connected with. I returned my equipment in over a month ago, and they are still charging me. No representatives can figure this problem out, all they do is say, "Let me transfer you to someone that can get this taken care of." Yeah well, no one has taken care of it!! All they have done is taken up 3 hours of my time by placing me on hold, and transferring my call. BULLSHIT!! Biggest sham of a cable company!! Sure is funny though that they know what to do when it comes to collecting money from me. I waist there were a way to minus stars, because Spectrum doesn't deserve even one star. read more

I give time warner one star bc I like the speed. They sent a guy over to instal our internet first off the man never introduced himself or even told me why he was there. Our appointment was at 10am and was 30 min late bc he forgot a tool, then took 30 min to get back. He asked to use the bathroom and didn't even put the toilet set back down. He was very rude. read more

So update to last review, my connection goes out every day between 3 and 4. Without fail. It's even worse on the weekend

The wait time was good after signing in, but the customer service was awful. Cecilia was rude and talked down to my mother for asking simple questions. Stick to paying online. The upside is the store looks really nice and they have comfortable places to sit while you're waiting. read more

What's with Spectrum's currently running commercial? It absolutely makes no sense at all, and I'm trying to figure out who they are trying to appeal to. The absurd violence makes this commercial completely inappropriate for young viewers. Considering their ratings and reviews, why would Spectrum continue to run a commercial that is not only difficult to watch but sends a very wrong message. read more

After waiting over a month to have a phone line installed, the phone line does not work. I have to call to have them "re-boot" the system to get the lines working for more than an hour. I've lost so much money from my business from this HORRIBLE company. THEIR SERVICE DOES NOT WORK Ive never hated a company more or been more frustrated. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

First of all, I guess I have to give at least one star to be heard! I have been a LADodger fan since 1970 and have grown up listening and watching Vin Scully. It's really a sad, sad situation with the cable dispute! I guess it is considered a legal thing when Turner "bullies" other companies rather than working with them to resolve this dispute! I love all your "one star" reviews! Way to go! I will continue to "listen" to my Dodgers. That will never change, and neither will my cable with Direct TV!!! read more

I was hesitant to send my parents here, but they are new in the area and needed service. I saw the one star and thought their experience would be less than satisfactory. I could not have been more wrong. Stacee was wonderful with them. She got them all set up and was friendly and accommodating. The technician who came to the house (I didn't get his name) was very nice and helpful. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in your customer service . read more

Well, it took two months but my Spectrum installation was finally completed today, though I have had Spectrum provided internet, phone and television service, on a 25-year old RG 59 cable, for the last week. It took five tries to replace the old cable but today's VVD (a Spectrum subcontractor) Underground-7 team (UG-7) knew all the tricks and got the job done in a little over an hour. Performance on all home components is satisfactory, though my now-replaced Verizon/Frontier internet service might have been a touch faster. More importantly, after three plus years, I can now finally watch the Dodgers again! I had been with DirecTV for 14-years but this month they upped my bill from $85 to $145 while at the same time Frontier was upping my internet/phone from $55 to $75, all with no notice and absolutely no enhancement in services. Bottom-line: I'm getting superior service from Spectrum for $130/mo. ...at least for the first year. By the way, I too previously visited the office on South Grand two-years ago and it was a less than a positive experience. Accordingly, this job was arranged and managed exclusively via phone and email. Charter Cable does seem to have improved upon what was formerly TWC. read more

Dad had Spectrum cable and then passed away 5 years ago. I had them move it to my mom's new apartment, and then move it again when she moved into an Alzheimer's unit. She is blind and on hospice now, so I finally took in the cable box to cancel service. They (Osirus) wouldn't cancel and made me get a death certificate because my dad's name is on the bill! I asked how they let me move twice and pay the $100 bill every month for 5 years if I'm not on the statement... no answer. Maria (manager) apparently doesn't work weekends. I complied and brought the death certificate, but told him I should have just thrown the cable box in the dumpster and ignored the bills. He said, "They would have charged you!" I replied, "Charged who? I'm not on the bill. Good luck getting the money from a guy dead 5 years!" Terrible company and no moral code. read more

After a month of no internet, serious pixelization, two technicians and an underground crew, Spectrum finally got it right! Alex Iniguez of VVD Communications out of Cucamonga, Ca. came out and immediately took care of business! No messing around! He made the immediate decision to run a new line to our bedroom! We have internet again and TV is working fine! Thanks Alex and thanks VVD Communications! read more

If I could give less than 1 Star I would. Recently switched over to Spectrum after having Verizon Fios for years because of the cheaper price and promise of fast internet. Spectrum is by far the WORSE internet service provider I have ever had. My internet is constantly going out randomly throughout the day and they are constantly slowing down my speeds randomly (I use a speed test website to see what I'm getting). Every time I message their support all I get is a "we currently have a technician working on it"). This has been going on for months and nothing has been done about it. If you have the choice of spectrum internet or any other internet service provider possible, NEVER choose spectrum.. they are the absolute worst read more

I ABSOLUTELY HATE spectrum wifi!!! In my conominium complex spectrum is the only wireless provider no other companies service this area. I pay $65 a month for a crappy ass service. This 2 star rating is only because the installer at the.house was extremely good. Knowledge, professionalism, and suggestions were the best. The problem came in when the Starter TV package didn't carry all of the local broadcast channels. I wanted 1 channel only in addition. I called Customer Service and they said to get that one channel, I had to subscribe to their top TV package, but they would upgrade my Internet speed for free. That made the price go way higher. At every turn, they told me that they would be able to solve my problem. They never would budge. Just upselling more features continuously. I unhooked all of the equipment, took it to the Glendora store, got a receipt and left. So far, I've received 7 calls in 5 days telling me that they have a solution for me. Now I've got to find some other reasonable service provider. Any suggestions? Thanks. read more

Switched from Frontier to Spectrum because it was only choice I had, not because of service. I rented their router for a few months before purchasing my own ( don't waste your money in their cheap router-worthless). When I tried to drop off the router at the store as instructed by Spectrum, I was told there was a wait. Really? Two employees (Andrew and unnamed blue new) were laughing it up in the corner on the computer. After the sixth person came in and still no one is being served, I went to the counter and told them I just want to drop this off. Andrew said you have to wait, we are busy. He said he would not take the router back. The blonde decided to get to work and took it way to keep your 2 star rating, guys. read more

Spectrum is a joke. Their customer service is horrible. This has nothing to do with the physical location but the call center reps. Are they that uneducated where they just stick to the script and blatantly lie and tell me if I want to cancel my service I need to bring my equipment to the store thats the only way period! I said, are you half retarded what equipment knowing I own my own modem? This worker was so lazy she couldn't even bother to read what is in front of her screen. I asked after 7 years of paying 50+ a month for 50Mbps internet I said any specials you can do for me? My speeds suck! The supervisor then said, no thats the best we can do. Ok. Fast forward 3 days I later I have Fronteir internet at my house installing 300Mpbs up and down for the same rate I was paying for 50Mpbs. I canceled Spectrum over the phone and now all of a sudden they want to try saving me as a customer? I dont think so! Spectrum is a joke! Do yourselves a favor and drop them like its hot so they will learn to treat the people who are paying them with a little more respect! If they could get 0 stars they would have it. read more
