Disappointed that Spectrum does not keep their word of honor, especially promises that they've made to the elderly.

I'm so sad we switched! Don't do it. First they said it was going to be two rooms. Come to find out the bedroom is not a Dvr. So you can't pause or record. They don't tell you when your order the service. They just want a sale. We just had the service installed on Saturday it's now only Monday and the Internet has gone out 3 times. I had an appointment scheduled a week with TW for an install today. I took time off from work. The appointment was for sometime between 4 and 5pm. No call, no one showed up until 5:30pm. It's dark by then, and the installer needs to climb a pole a couple of houses down to start the install. Forget it, I tell him to come back another time. I call to reschedule- they tell me the best they can do- for wasting my time is three days from now, sometime between 9am and 7pm!!!!! If they think I'm going to waste 10 hours waiting.... FAIL !!! Went in to pay bill. Usually not a long wait or none, depending on time of day. Don't give you a hard sell, but look out for the nickel and dime fees. Got a "$100" deal but with sneaky fees, ending up paying about $135/mo. read more

Had 2 sales people come by and finally went to the store. Promises of 200 mB speed better channel selection etc. Signed up got an install date. Now the fun began. Tech comes out TV is working but phone is not as they have a problem at the box. He says it all hooked up and they will call back and make sure everything is oK. A week later I still don't have phone. Had 4 calls with texts and still no phone. Finally got a tech coming out tomorrow. Internet speed about 1/2 what I had and they say what they are selling is what the hope to have by next January but I'm paying now. My home net work isn't working as my google home won't connect. Been on the phone with google and they say they've been getting complaints as their modem or routers defaults as set wrong but we can't change them. Today the finAl straw. Got a bill $30 higher than my quoted price and get this they don't want to change it. Told them they either get it working and get the bill fixed or they can take it a shove it. Just met everything bad about a cable company promises they can't deliver problems they create they can't solve and costs I didn't ask for. Will update but right now I'm not a happy Speed still lags the promise. Can't get the 200 mg advertised and then changed to their dream of what they want back to supposed to be guaranteed 100. It's never got to that level and getting 90 mb is top Not as quick as my old frontier Uploads are so much slower at 10- 12 mb as my maximum upload read more

I went to Spectrum mobile 1395 South Grand in Glendora. I'd been told several of my phones we're good for up to $175 in trade-in if I added Spectrum mobile to my plan. When I got there they said my phones were worth nothing in trade in. After I made the contract and got home I called Spectrum corporate again and they told me they were wrong that Assurant gives $101 in trade in for the phone IMEI that I had. Just had my Internet installation yesterday. The installer was very prompt and professional. I was up and running in less than 15 minutes. The 50 mb download speed is as advertised, and I absolutely love it! The only issue that I have is when I signed up, I was told I would get a reminder call of my appointment, and another call when the installer was on his/her way. No calls. 1 star penalty. read more

Horrible service. I am so frustrated! My business depends on the Internet. It went out this morning so I am losing employee productivity and sales. After calling Spectrum customer service several times, the best they could due is send a repairman out in THREE days. When I told them it's critical and I'll pay more to get a technician today, they kept repeating that they could dispatch a tech next week. Wow! TERRIBLE customer service. Just FYI- had a problem with moving and my cable. Turned off my cable too soon and tried to turn back on withTechSupport... worked at it for an hour got hung up on 3 times. I have TW Spectrum. Talked to some woman at main office, Stephanie I think. She was not amiable or nice at all. They seem to be billing an only giving a 15 day to pay cycle. I tried to talk to her and get more info but she couldn't understand my issue. I'm a senior and been around many blocks. She was not willing to really get the issue. I pay bills on the 1st of each month. They bill on the 28tth. Have to pay by the 15thj. They refuse to work out a schedule that is conducive to customers. 2nd worse company I have had to deal with. Frontier is number 1. Got rid of them but now seems Spectrum is following in their footsteps. they suck at customer service. Will look for another Internet/phone carrier. Being assertive, as I was, is not yelling. Especially when the company person is so closed minded. If I could give them a Zero, I would. Just more corporate BS. read more

Thieves with a license. They make you pay rent for their equipment for years. When I cancelled my service I was not informed I had to return it. They never billed me for it, five months later I am in collections for not returning their old equipment. I know they do this on purpose. I specifically ask the associate if I needed to do anything else and he told me "no, that's it, your account is closed and you don't owe anything" That would've been the perfect time to tell me to return their old, bulky ugly piece of junk that only worked half the time. I honestly dislike giving bad reviews, but I feel like i have to for this. First off I would give this location and spectrum as a whole negative 5 stars. My stepdad passed away and we called spectrum to turn off the cable and return the equipment. When we called in the customer service representative told us because he is the only one on the account the only thing we can do is personally go in return everything and then they will cancel service. My grandpa was so kindly to take in everything and they gave him such a hard time. We are now being told we can't do anything until we get spectrum the death certificate. If anyone has gone threw a death you know a death certificate takes weeks. So now no one is living in the house but yet we still have to pay for cable because they don't want to help us turn it off or take their equipment. What a way to make a hard time HARDER !! read more

We had used Spectrum over five years and canceled when we relocated. I canceled services 3 days after my initial sign up date 5 years ago and Spectrum charges me for entire month. They claimed that is their policy to only charge monthly even though you could just use one day. I argued with them that we supposed to pay for what we used their service and we should not force to pay what we do not use. For my cancelling service call, I waited over two hours through several agents putting me on hold 3 times. Finally one gentlemen helped me finalize the cancellation. He did not tell me that they will charge me entire month for only use for 3 days. I strongly not recommend to use this company for internet and any other services. read more

Service is slow staff very unhelpful and unproductive a lot of new people also who can't really help you so they just stare at the wall while you make a line of 7 people. This Charter Spectrum is terrible Internet does not work only when it wants which is frequently starting the day before till the next day! EXAMPLE No internet No ring cameras because Ring cameras rely on your network internet! Internet & phone and cameras turned off starting 11Pm to 8:55 AM next day supposedly planning B upgraded project they always say that! Customers save your money go elsewhere where you actually enjoy the affordable Variety of channels for cheap good price! Just moved to Glendora aFter living in Montebello for 35 years. I had AT$T U-verse for over 25 years it was expensive but great service. Glendora does not offer AT&T so I chose Spectrum. When I called customer service they said they would send an installer to set up service. Customer service said I would need new cables. When installer came to my new home all he did was plug the box into the outlet. It took all of 2 mins and charged me 49.99. So beware if you can pick up your equipment . Save yourself 49.99 and plug it into your wall. read more

Internet has been out for a week. Called Spectrum after three days. They said someone would be in contact with me in 24 hours. They never called. After another two days I called them. This is incredibly poor service. They just read from a script to make you go away. Don't use Spectrum. read more

Too bad! We have no choice to choose another carrier which service my area in north AZUSA. When theirs system is down it's take the more than an hour to notify customers. This time the modem lights is perfect even when I rebooted. I thought it was my router and I have to reset and change password word. After 20 min later. The customer message came on. Then after i called to get it on i said ill try the bundle pack and sure enough the people at the store don't give me all the right pieces or any info how to install just my box and a goodbye. I placed an order for a Wi-Fi box on line through spectrum a.k.a. Time Warner cable and was instructed to pick it up at their Glendora office. When I arrive I walk in I hear the customer service rep scolding a customer I then go to another clerk who when I tell her I was just there to pick up the box began to interrogate me about my account.
