We came from out of town and went here on a recommendation. We were super excited because the menu looked delicious and there were so many good reviews. When we walked in we were met by a very pleasant girl at the bar, so everyone on the floor wearing masks, dividers between tables and spaces at the bar . Hand sanitizer on every table. We ordered our , and while waiting for her to process our credit card we glanced down the steps into the kitchen. We were incredibly disappointed. No one in the kitchen was wearing a mask. Absolutely no one. They were talking and laughing and touching food. No masks, no gloves. It was very off-putting and we almost canceled our order. Understanding that food-based transmission is low, we had already ordered our food and thought "well we heard it's wonderful so let's just get it and get going." They told us it would be 20 minutes for it to be ready so we stepped outside and came back in 15 minutes. It took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge us but once they did, we sat on the bench and watched our order dying in the window. Five full minutes it sat in the window before somebody actually went down and packed it up. One table occupied in the restaurant and multiple staff buzzing around. Four different staff members walked across the restaurants masked, walked down the steps to the kitchen and then pull their masks down over their nose and mouth to talk to the kitchen staff. Finally someone went down and packed up our order and handed it to us in a bag and said "you're all set! There are chopsticks and forks in the bag." We jumped in the car and headed out to find a spot to park and eat near the entrance ramp to 70. When we got situated, we opened up the bag. No napkins, no forks, no chopsticks. The broth to pour onto the ramen was lukewarm. Ramen itself was just haphazardly thrown together, noodles in giant clumps and was missing the soft-boiled egg. We were incredibly disappointed. The flavor of the sushi roll and JFC Taco were fine, but the taco definitely had way too much mail. I ended up wiping it off before I could rewrap and eat it . There was no way the sushi roll was worth $14 common or the ramen Worth 16. Not in the way it was presented. So essentially we spent more than $40 with tip for 3 items. With no silverware oh, we ended up having to go through McDonald's and order something so we could get a plastic fork to eat. Perhaps in bettter times if you can sit at the counter and eat it fresh, with silverware, and they have an opportunity to rectify what's missing in your order, it would be better. But it is completely misleading that their yelp page states that the staff wears masks. Incredibly disappointing. Hopefully the restaurant owners will see this review and review safety protocols with their staff and Ensure that every order goes out double-checked and packed with the appropriate silverware and that the food is prepared correctly and hot. read more
