I love this place. As an Asian and a person born and raised in Hawaii. I love their sushi. I just wish they would restock the sushi faster. I don't take more than 2 from a roll but sometimes I can only have 2 pieces of a roll the entire time while I'm there. They have a vast choice of food, esp chicken if you like it. I mainly come for the dinner menu I just like it better honestly. The hibachi chef is awesome cooks it right up for you and if you're feeling a lil nice that day leave him a tip! You know you come a lot when he remembers who you are.... My family lol. The pricing you really can't go wrong with either! I believe the drinks they serve are coke products. Spacious and clean facility with attentive staff. Only waited about 2 minutes to be seated with our family of 6. They had high chairs. And a booster seat. Food was tasty and fresh. Wide assortment with salads, sushi, desserts and scoop your own ice cream. We enjoyed hibachi grilled steak, shrimp, veggies, noodles and pineapple. My lunch experience here was very good on a Monday around noon. I was surprised with the ambiance here as its more upscale and spacious than most Chinese buffets. I was pleasantly greeted, and had my drink order taken at the hostess stand. I went to the buffet, and my iced tea was waiting for me when I got back. The food here is, all around, very good, and there's a good selection of maybe 55 - 60 items in total. I tried a variety of items, including sushi, seaweed salad, pepper chicken, spicy chili oil chicken, lo mein, chicken skewers, buttered shrimp... All very good. The only thing that didn't impress me was the hot and sour soup. It was probably leftover from the day before as it was a little gloppy. (Good flavor, though). Their prices were quite good for it being a nicer place with good quality food and a very nice selection. I'll certainly give them more of my business, soon. read more

Needed some sustenance on a road trip. Not far from 68, in a big mall. Not super busy mid-afternoon on a weekend, which I was afraid of. Friendly staff, quick seating and drink refills. Decent price, though I think it's the usual "dinner all day on weekends" because it seemed a little high. Bigger selection than some buffets, and fresher, despite the lack of a huge crowd. They were checking and refilling often. Food ran from fair to good; some of that is just that I didn't like their particular version. Lots of healthy options, but plenty of solid meaty/saucy/fatty ones too. Not on my usual routes, but if I lived nearby I'd be back a lot. read more

I'm very critical when it comes to service so perhaps I was a little harsh with my review. When I go to a restaurant I expect for my server to be friendly this wasn't the case and turned what could have been a potential 4 star review into the 3 you see. I tried to engage our server in conversation but she ignored my attempts. She was a bit slow in clearing used dishes.The resturant was beautifully decorated. It had many choices of food including frogslegs crab oysters class, a great selection of sushi as well as most Chinese dishes you'd expect in a Chinese Buffett. If a reasonably price buffet (wihen you factor in bidenomics) with decent food and you don't care about excellent service is what you seek in Springfield,OH you can't go wrong here. I paid 3 dollars more at Der Dutchman and the drink was not included nor was the soup or dessert unless you consider bread pudding dessert or the mystery thingy that looked like the cook dropped it on the floor and swept it into its serving container, but that's for my next review. This buffet is awful. Complete trash. I understand they only just reopened after they just opened originally right before the panic lockdown started, I was honestly trying to giving them a big break, but nothing I saw was acceptable. We purposefully went to the weekend dinner, as it was advertised as the seafood buffet time. Didn't even have standard snowcrab legs. Was some oysters, mussels, crawfish, and octopus. But mostly shrimp. The best thing was the cold faux Crab salad, and that was bland. The rest of the buffet was worse. Much worse. Much of it was luke warm at best. Some was just plain cold. There was little to no Chinese food. Unless you count salt and pepper shrimp. The hibachi was not running. There were no noodles, no dumplings, not even lowly wontons. The egg drop soup was flavorless. All the flavors were subpar. Another patron and I were comparing notes in the bathroom how awful it all was. I filled one plate, mostly, and didn't eat all of it. The best thing was the Mac and cheese which came from a can for sure. Normally with such mediocre Chinese buffets, like the one that used to precede it in this location, when family would want to eat there I would err to the deep fried selections like crab Rangoon, egg rolls, or sweet and sour pork to assure they'd be cooked and hot. But some of those standards weren't even there. I can't even be sure of that with my mozz sticks as the cheese wasnt even slightly warm. The women's bathroom needs attention. The pendant lighting looked to be connected by plastic bread clips and the stall walls had been scratched up severely with graffiti. Painting over graffiti costs nearly nothing. They hadn't even removed the piled up strips of latex paint from the scratches that fell off with my hand brushing over it which just proves that in a *pandemic* they hadn't even so much as washed the walls. Anyone giving this more than two stars should not be trusted. I'm gonna drop an update if I end up with food poisoning, I have a few more hours to know for sure. Wish me luck. I used to be a regular at this place but I'm not going back anymore. When me and my grandpa showed up they had the front doors wide open, it was fall so they might have been cooling down the building. The food was good, the only problem I have with it is when a tray runs out they take very long to refill it. I was trying to eat 100 pieces of sushi, but the tray ran out in like 6 pieces and it wasn't refilled when I left. I thought I would try something new and tried to eat some crab. The piece of crab fell apart and there was a dead bug smashed inside that piece of crab that no one would have seen if the crab hadn't fallen apart. read more

I had not been here in almost 2 yrs and was disappointed. First off, how can you call Crab Rangoon, Crab Rangoon when there is literally no filling? None at all! It was like they smudged the inside with it rather than a filling. The noodles are bland but soft so you need sauces from the other foods to flavor them. The Crab casserole tastes like mayo only with Crab. The stuffed clam? shells are nasty. Best thing other than variety and dessert/ice cream choices was the meat on the stick. Hands down the best! OMG!! All I can say is this is how people get sick. One worker swept the floor. Once she was done her and another worker sat at a table picking up silverware not by the handle but by the part which patrons stick in their mouth and wrapping with napkin. All I can say is I instantly became sick. A patron was walking around eating off of his plate while he placed food on the plate he was eating on. This is disgusting!! I'll never eat in here again. Me and my church family went there Sunday January 16th for lunch the food was lukewarm not hot the pizza was warm not hot. Plus they added a party charge and we wasn't a party everyone had a separate bill so we all decided that we're not coming back and eating there for lunch. I ha e been there several times hoping they would be better but it wasn't better. As a dishwasher and a cook helper food should always be hot when it's out and the food should be tempted and the heat should be on hot not warm. read more
