The establishment's decorations and it's environment is a 5/5. My team and I (8 people total) were greeted by a waitress and guided us to a table in the middle. We were then asked for drinks but all of us got water. The menu is on a QR code on the table so you can use your mobile device. We got three pizzas: margarita, chicken Alfredo, and super duper. All hand tossed. The margarita pizza was ok in my opinion. 3/5 overall. Ooey stretchy cheese was great I almost choked. Didn't really taste much that differentiates from a regular cheese pizza. The chicken alfredo pizza was good. 4/5 literally chicken alfredo without the pasta on top of pizza. Although my team didn't eat most of it I finished it for them. I first found out about spanky's on DoorDash we ordered the super duper with stuffed crust and it was absolutely amazing! It had tons of meat, it was fresh, it was hot and delicious!! We ordered it again a couple of weeks later thinking that there is no way this pizza is going to be as good as it was the first time and it was!! First of all, there was plenty of Larkin's space, which is essential when you have a huge F250 to park. Spanky's wins on parking I walked in and was amazed at how nice this place was; the decor, the amount of table and booth seating, and the cleanliness of the place. Not a typical pizza place for sure. There were pasta, pizza, and salad options which were nice. We opted for the small pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and extra cheese. The small pizza was just enough for 2 people, especially with the mozzarella sticks. The pizza was good but it was not as hot as I would've liked as were the cheese sticks. So last night supposedly the manager Lily doesn't have any control of the music on the loud speaker. I asked politely if they could change the music but she doesn't have control over it. She's more concerned with flirting with the cop at the front host stand than to tend to her workers or her clients. As a manager of a restaurant, I know managers have control of it. Trying to enjoy a night out and nothing cut cussing and vulgar music is completely unprofessional. We drove all the way from Kingwood to eat here and this is the type of atmosphere we are exposed to. My husband picked this place and I was nervous because I didn't check Yelp first. Lol. I thought because of the prices and amount of children's birthday parties going on it would be mediocre. And I was surprised! I really enjoyed my pizza. We had my pepperoni, "deep dish" style. Which is my only critique. Their deep dish isn't deep dish at all, more like pan style from the Hut. But that's actually my favorite pizza style so I was happy. The margaritas were good too. You don't find many pizza spots with ritas so this was different but great. Houston is lacking great pizza, but Spanky's always delivers. Well, pre-COVID, they didn't have delivery, but you get what I mean. I've had Spanky's dozens of times, and I have dined in a couple of times. The pizza is always consistently delicious! Every time I've dined in, I've been with a very large group (around 20 people), and the staff has always been super accommodating even with splitting our bills. Their salads are generously portioned. Their apps while none are healthy, they are all delicious. The fried pickles are a favorite of mine! I usually order their special pizza with original thin crust. Yum! I have been going to the Spankys on Bellaire and 59 since shortly after it opened. I have had no problems until thi past Tuesday and you only one chance to disrespect me when I'm spending my money. Basically, it was taking forever for the baked wings to come. I order them all the time and instead of making it right. The bartender and the General Manager argue with me about how long it had taken. Who does that? Whether you agree or not you don't argue with paying customers.
