SpaceMan recently installed a master closet layout, custom storage cabinets in our laundry room and we are having them come back to install a Murphy bed in our flex room. Our designer, Kim, captured our vision and suggested options that made all the difference. The installers were very professional, perfectionist and left every so clean. I had to have them back to fix a shelf I broke and adjust a few things and they were out to fix it quickly with customer satisfaction in mind. Spaceman did an excellent job on my closet. They did our installation in one day and it looks just how the plans looked that they sent me. The estimate even took one day. Very friendly service and they left no mess when they left. I highly recommend them and great prices.. Wish I could post a pic of my closet so you can see their product. I recently used SpaceMan to tear out an old closet and install a new more efficient one. From the tear-out to the installation, everything went smoothly. The man who did the tear-out stayed late so he could finish up in one day in order for my electrician to have time to install new lighting. I even had to leave the installers in the house alone a couple of times. They were trustworthy, respectful, cleaned up after themselves and did an exemplary job. Kimberly worked hard to ensure the closet design worked with our lifestyle and wardrobe. She was responsive and took time to explain every detail. This is the second time I've used SpaceMan. The good folks at SpaceMan make everything easy for you. From calling them up to make an appointment, to having someone come out to your home to take exact measurements, to really listening to what you're looking for, then transforming it into a design that will suit both your space and your budget. Thank you Brooke! From start to finish it was a breeze and the whole process took about a month. I'm sure they could have done it in less time, but I wasn't in a rush. There's also a showroom if you're the type of person who needs to see and touch everything before you buy it. Finally, I really appreciate the installer, Jose, who drove over an hour in 5 o'clock traffic back to our house the next day (during a nasty rain storm no less) just to bring out the right trim ... it was a very minor touchup and I didn't even notice it at first, but Jose wanted to make sure it was perfect and the job was complete. Great company, fair prices, well-thought out design, no high-pitch pressure, and really nice people every step of the way. All in all, SpaceMan was a pleasure to work with. read more

I ended up choosing SpaceMan over another closet redesign company for the following reasons: 1. I felt like their original design was a more optimal use of the space. 2. Their original design allowed us to use more vertical space for storage (i.e. they designed the system to a greater height for additional storage) 3. Their designer came in, asked me several questions about what he saw in the closet, what i was looking for and then told me what he was thinking. After a bit of discussion, he did the design right there on the spot in 10 minutes while I browsed through their catalog of knobs, finishes and accessories (and lots of accolades and client thank you letters) My only ding against them is that the design ended up removing three sets of hooks from a short wall and replacing them with only a single rack. This is my fault for not catching, but I don't think it was an effective use of the space, and would have been a cost savings had I paid more attention. Now my husband is going to have to remove the SpaceMan-installed rack and replace the ones that were removed. Other than that, I'm completely happy with the process, the installation, mostly happy with the cost, and slightly grumpy with myself for trying to move too quickly through the process and overlooking the issue above. I would definitely recommend SpaceMan, and still would have chosen them had I noticed the rack issue in advance. read more

Spaceman helped me to redo my closet after flooding from hurricane Harvey. They "uninstalled" the closet they built for me 8 years ago, replaced the flood damaged pieces and reinstalled it. They worked with me on the timing so the rest of my closet could be repaired (sheetrock, paint etc.) and were very prompt and professional in every way! They were as good to work for this time as they were 8 years ago. read more

I had my MBR closet done by Spaceman and it looks amazing. I called around to other places, but Spaceman was the only one that was about to work within my budget. It was definitely the most value for my money. One of the other companies were going to charge a couple hundred dollars more, for only all double hang around the closet, but Spaceman was able to provide double hang, shoe shelves, and drawers! It was a much better use of the space. They definitely know what they're talking about when they come in to do the design. They even used a space the other company didn't use, which added extra double hang! I used the Living Social deal and sometimes they have a similar deal on Groupon. The staff was also really nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Spaceman redid our closet at home. We have a small condo and the closet was not designed well. After a 1 hour design appointment, the designer was able to provide us with a good design and cost estimate immediately. We worked with him to make some minor changes and also bring the cost down a bit to meet our budget by removing some features. They are very easy to work with, and within a few weeks we had a brand new closet that was well organized and much better use of space. The installer was professional and the work is very solid. I didn't do much comparison on cost, but it all seemed reasonable for what you get. They also stand behind their work with a lifetime warranty, and the design is open for expansions (that the designer originally recommended) in the future if we want it. read more

We used SpaceMan to install 2 overhead storage shelves in our garage as well as some slat wall to hang our bikes. The process was smooth and the install was quick and professional. SpaceMan is expensive - you definitely could do it cheaper if you purchased a similar product at Lowe's or HD BUT what sold us was the life time warranty which transfers to new owners if you sell. Plus the guy installed everything, cleaned up, and was gone within 3 hours. It would have taken us 2 to 3 times longer to install ourselves and we may not have hit the proper supports either. The product and install are quality. We will use them again if we want to expand the slat wall! Check out their show room (especially if you want a closet redesign). read more
