A project manager was sent out who brought a contractor to look at our floor. They checked to see if our squeaking could be stopped by drilling nails in the floor and said they would return to fill them/see about refinishing the floor. After two weeks of silence, I followed up asking when we could schedule the next visit to start work and was told "Sorry, we're busy" and am now stuck with holes in my wood floor. We can't say enough about how great of a job Brian and Flooring by Patterson did for us. We had a tight window to get carpet removed and replaced with wood flooring before we moved in. Brian was quick to respond, very easy to work with, and overall just a very nice and helpful person. He went above and beyond to get us all taken care of. Out of desperation , After reading Yelp reviews , I called Brian 10 minutes before closing , and he answered the phone ! Came by the very next day with a quote. His guys came within a week to begin to start from scratch to redo the mess of what this other horrible company had left . I did not have to baby sit them , and went off to work. The product line offered by Flooring by Patterson is made of nylon, which is more durable than the polyester product from the other company, and at a better price. Flooring By Patterson was recommended to us by a friend. Other companies had also been recommended but we found Patterson to be the most responsive and offered the best price. Brian was very helpful in finding the exact right carpet for us. We worked with him over an extended valuation period and he was low pressure and very patient. The installers were very professional and were able to install two floors of carpeting in one day (working from 7:30 to 6:00 with barely a break for lunch) . To ease the process we moved a lot of furniture in preparation for the installation yet they insisted in helping us move it all back in place. Other companies we looked at had long waiver forms to complete in case something was damaged in moving the furniture. Patterson did not require this and frankly did not need it as they were very careful and conscientious in their work. I have no reservations recommending them. read more

Brian and his team did excellent work for a reasonable price. I wanted to have all of the work done while I was on vacation so I had them move all of the furniture and put in new hardwoods and carpeting on two levels and a stairway in my absence. The woodwork is stunning, it transforms the whole look/feel of my house, and the carpeting was also very well done and it looks and feels quite a bit nicer than the tired carpet it replaced. They did all of that work without having to bother me at all while I was away. So, they can be trusted with your house and they can be trusted to do excellent work, all for a reasonable price. Initial response times were fast, the quote was well below the competitors, and they actually identified and matched the existing wood without any samples. They had to order the wood from Colombia and it took a few extra days but the workmanship was absolutely flawless. They did about 500 square feet in just a couple of days once they got the wood and all the transitions were pristine. They also floated the floor and left it far more even and level than it ever had been. We're extremely pleased with the professionalism of their sales end, their backend workmanship and their prices. Brian at Flooring by Patterson was so great to work with! We are in an original 1930's home with original hardwood floors throughout. The prior owner did some adding on and put down light laminate flooring that did not match the older part of the home. During our remodel we wanted to take out the laminate flooring and put down the same style hardwoods to match the rest of the home. Brian came out to take a look at everything and quoted us quickly! We scheduled everything and even with having to push it back a few days (due to other construction), everything went smoothly. The guys did the tear out, install and stain all within a week!! They were able to find the same style wood as the older part of our house so everything looks seamless as if it was there from the start.
