I had been searching for flooring for quite some time, had numerous quotes from all of the highest rated companies in the area along with big box stores, but none of them compared to Brian in both cost and expertise. He found us an amazing product at a great price and we felt totally at ease with him. He's super knowledgeable and you can tell he sincerely cares about his customers. No gimmicky sales tactics, no high pressure, which I appreciated compared to some of the other companies that came to give us quotes. The installers did an amazing job and our new floors look awesome. I'm sure these floors will last and be super durable for our rental. Do not hesitate to call Brian, he is amazing and will take great care of care of you (and save you money!) read more

I would recommend Flooring by Patterson to anyone that is looking to have a project done. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience working with them. Brian is so knowledgeable and incredibly dedicated to making sure that you get the best possible outcome. He went above and beyond any service provider I have ever worked with, and was there from start to finish with a level of support that is unmatched. He made the decision making process so easy and enjoyable, and the flexibility and turnaround time was unbelievable. Our project came through under budget and ahead of time, and the quality and professionalism is undeniable. We absolutely LOVE our new floors, and we can't wait to work with Flooring by Patterson again soon! read more

Excellent communication and attention to detail. The crew was very hard-working and dedicated. Our new wood flooring is beautiful.

A project manager was sent out who brought a contractor to look at our floor. They checked to see if our squeaking could be stopped by drilling nails in the floor and said they would return to fill them/see about refinishing the floor. After two weeks of silence, I followed up asking when we could schedule the next visit to start work and was told "Sorry, we're busy" and am now stuck with holes in my wood floor. Disappointed. read more

Working with Brian and Flooring by Patterson was the greatest experience I've ever had with home projects and contractors. I had so much fun with Brian as he helped me select the perfect wood floors to replace old carpet and some outdated existing wood floors, and the rooms are absolutely stunning now. Jose and his team were professional and respectful, and it was so easy having them there doing the work. And for the extent of the work and amount of materials, I was surprised by how relatively inexpensive it was! I had expected it to cost more. They made a project I'd dreaded doing a truly enjoyable experience. Can't thank them enough! read more

We can't say enough about how great of a job Brian and Flooring by Patterson did for us. We had a tight window to get carpet removed and replaced with wood flooring before we moved in. Brian was quick to respond, very easy to work with, and overall just a very nice and helpful person. He went above and beyond to get us all taken care of. Even last minute requests we had he had them taken care of with no problem. The installation team was great as well and everything was right on time. If you're looking at flooring in the area you should definitely give them a call. We will definitely be using them again in the future. read more

I have a shout out for this fabulous company, floors by Patterson , who came over to clean up a mess made by another company ,Floorcraft . Out of desperation , After reading Yelp reviews , I called Brian 10 minutes before closing , and he answered the phone ! Came by the very next day with a quote. His guys came within a week to begin to start from scratch to redo the mess of what this other horrible company had left . I did not have to baby sit them , and went off to work. They were professional and tidy in every way and completely restored my wood floors to absolutely beautiful condition. Thank you Brian and Floors by Patterson for all your wonderful help. I am forever grateful, and will highly recommend you to anyone needing flooring services. These pictures are of my beautiful refinished floors by Floors by Patterson. read more

Very happy with my experience with this company and absolutely recommend them. Good value, quality product, positive interactions at all points in the process. My account rep Brian came to my home with a nice array of samples and useful criteria for making a decision. I'm glad I got another quote for comparison - from another well-reviewed company. The product line offered by Flooring by Patterson is made of nylon, which is more durable than the polyester product from the other company, and at a better price. The install crew was polite and respectful of my home - took time and showed patience in replacing the furniture to my liking. The carpet is beautiful and seems to be well-installed. read more

10/10 would recommend! Brian was super professional, organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. The hardwood floors were at a great value and Brian was super hands-on to ensure a high quality installation. The contractor doing the work, Jose, was also amazing. He was extremely professional, detail-oriented, and clean. Always arrived on time and cleaned up daily. His workmanship was top notch! I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and would look forward to working with them again in the future. read more

Flooring By Patterson was recommended to us by a friend. Other companies had also been recommended but we found Patterson to be the most responsive and offered the best price. Brian was very helpful in finding the exact right carpet for us. We worked with him over an extended valuation period and he was low pressure and very patient. The installers were very professional and were able to install two floors of carpeting in one day (working from 7:30 to 6:00 with barely a break for lunch) . To ease the process we moved a lot of furniture in preparation for the installation yet they insisted in helping us move it all back in place. Other companies we looked at had long waiver forms to complete in case something was damaged in moving the furniture. Patterson did not require this and frankly did not need it as they were very careful and conscientious in their work. I have no reservations recommending them. read more

A friend recommended flooring by Patterson and Brian. They did a great job! Competitive quote, good communication, quality work and reliable. I highly recommend them. read more

Brian and his team did excellent work for a reasonable price. I wanted to have all of the work done while I was on vacation so I had them move all of the furniture and put in new hardwoods and carpeting on two levels and a stairway in my absence. The woodwork is stunning, it transforms the whole look/feel of my house, and the carpeting was also very well done and it looks and feels quite a bit nicer than the tired carpet it replaced. They did all of that work without having to bother me at all while I was away. So, they can be trusted with your house and they can be trusted to do excellent work, all for a reasonable price. Brian had kindly given me the bids with multiple options and suggestions as to what might work best. I am quite satisfied that I made the right choice for my home. read more

My dad recently passed away, and I had to get his house ready to be put on the market. Some of the flooring in the living room has water damage and needed to be addressed before we could do anything. Anyway, dealing with Brian through this difficult time was easy and efficient. Being from out of state, Brian made it an easy transaction!!!. Thank You Flooring by Patterson!!! read more

We had a great experience with Brian and his team! The team was helpful, experienced, punctual, very courteous, and reasonable in price. We were slightly concerned about refinishing our wood floors for our 1920's home; however Brian and his team did a great job making the floors look brand new and repair places with old flooring they had to locate for us. Overall fantastic experience! read more

Flooring by Patterson - Beautiful New wood floors. - Flooring Near Me - Houston, Texas

I searched all over Houston to find something that would look good for my kitchen. I needed a look that blended with the rest of my wood flooring. Brian came in and had just the right sample, they were able to complete within the week. The best part is that it is a high traffic area, but the quality of what they installed= it still looks like new a couple years later. Thanks SO much for the quality work and your professionalism. read more

I recently purchased a place in Oak Forest and the previous owner could have cared for the wood floors better but they weren't bad. I checked around to several different flooring operations and some places seemed fly by night operations and I landed on Flooring by Patterson after getting a quality quote and high degree of confidence of craftsmanship. I have to say after the work was performed I am very pleased and happy that I chose them over several other businesses and would encourage anyone else to follow suite if they're looking at wood flooring. read more

Outstanding!! Brian and his team did an excellent job. They were very efficient, professional and worked clean we they put in my carpeting. The pricing was very competitive and Brian did an excellent job of explaining all the details. A scheduling conflict arose with my furniture delivery and carpet installation. Brian was very professional and made a bunch of phone calls and took care of the problem. The carpet installation was finished at 1 pm and the furniture was delivered by 3 pm. My experience couldn't have been better.. read more

I can't even begin to say how hard Brian has worked around my insurance company in getting me a floor. He is such a pleasure to work with. It's like customer service from the "old days." On top of that, his crew was the best group I have ever worked with. I have had several floors installed, and his crew did the best job hands down. They were careful with my things, and the baseboards are a work of art. Thank you! read more

Rarely can one rave about a service company from start to finish, but our experience with this company is truly 5 star. Brain is the sales manager who communicated a competitive quote timely and professionally. The flooring team started on the project of 2 bedrooms within the week. Everyone was polite and friendly and arrived when promised every day of the project. Not a drop of dust or dirt left from sanding, furniture disassembled and reassembled like clockwork. Sergio is a hardwood artist- blended the wood to match an adjoining study so one would never know this was a post-sale redo. Don't hesitate to use this company, they are better than 3-4 other companies we have used while in Katy. So refreshing to utilize a company that obviously cares about the product they deliver. read more

Flooring by Patterson - Replaced the floor and shower tile. - Flooring Near Me - Houston, Texas

We had a 100% great experience with these guys. Initial response times were fast, the quote was well below the competitors, and they actually identified and matched the existing wood without any samples. They had to order the wood from Colombia and it took a few extra days but the workmanship was absolutely flawless. They did about 500 square feet in just a couple of days once they got the wood and all the transitions were pristine. They also floated the floor and left it far more even and level than it ever had been. We're extremely pleased with the professionalism of their sales end, their backend workmanship and their prices. Highly recommended. read more

Very pleased with the quality of their work. Brian was responsive in providing a quote for the work and arranged for his highly experienced wood professional (and former architect!) Johnny R to do the job at our home which was not flooring but a historic sink countertop made of a single 8 foot plank of hard wood. Johnny did an awesome job with the project - the result made me wish we had found him years ago for all the other wood work in our old Heights home. Very happy and will gladly go to them again for our next home project. read more

After our home was flooded by Hurricane Harvey, I invited 6 different flooring companies to give us bids. Brian was unquestionably the most clear , the most professional and the most confidence inspiring person I interviewed. So we chose to work with him. We were not disappointed. He helped us explore and understand the various options, gave us very competitive pricing, and he and his team executed flawlessly, coordinating the installation with my general contractor . The natural bamboo floor we chose now looks spectacular! Highly recommended! read more

After trying to find a carpet company who would not only sell and install carpet but also take care of moving our furniture we called Patterson. The customer service was superb from the beginning of the project through competition. The installers were hard workers and perfectionists. They are professionals. Re-carpeting while living in a home is disruptive, but they made it the best that it could be and the results are great. We are asking ourselves why it took us so long to move forward with the project. Clearly we needed to find Flooring by Patterson. read more

Working with Brian at Flooring by Patterson was so easy! First, Brian listened to what I was looking for, then brought several choices in my price range, took measurements of the rooms, and sent an estimate. One week later his guys were there-on time and did a fantastic job! They disassembled the beds and reassembled, They moved and put all of the furniture back in the correct place. They removed the old carpet and pad, cleaned up everything. The entire team was super polite and professional. I highly recommend using them. read more

Brian at Flooring by Patterson was so great to work with! We are in an original 1930's home with original hardwood floors throughout. The prior owner did some adding on and put down light laminate flooring that did not match the older part of the home. During our remodel we wanted to take out the laminate flooring and put down the same style hardwoods to match the rest of the home. Brian came out to take a look at everything and quoted us quickly! We scheduled everything and even with having to push it back a few days (due to other construction), everything went smoothly. The guys did the tear out, install and stain all within a week!! They were able to find the same style wood as the older part of our house so everything looks seamless as if it was there from the start. Brian was so knowledgeable about the flooring and was amazing to work with! I would highly recommend Flooring by Patterson for any flooring needs, especially hardwood flooring. Thank you so much for our beautiful floors!!!! read more
