First time they worked for me they updated my master bedroom from top to bottom and created a fantastic wetroom as my master bathroom. Second time I had them round they updated my second and third bedrooms. This last time they laid tile, painted through the main area of my house and also updated the whole main bathroom. I'm so help with the service and pricing I've asked for a quote to do the kitchen too. The service is second to none, all his employees are extremely curious and helpful. If I were doing this again, I would have worked closer with the LoneStar Contracting to select the…read moretile for this project. As it was, I shopped for the tile in advance and unknowingly selected a size that was very difficult to work with in such a small area. In hindsight, had I shown LoneStar a photograph of the type of tile I was interested in, I believe they would have helped me select a style which was better suited for the small (3' x 3' x 8' tall) shower and still have looked great. That said, the team from LoneStar Contracting did an excellent job of laying the tile I had chosen. It added a week to the project, but the final results look FANTASTIC! The Shower, sink, Linen closet, clothes hamper, and over toilet cabinet were all custom built to fit this bath. The construction is solid and well made. Lonestar selected the grab bars that were installed. Instead of the simple industrial grab bars, they purchased a style that blended perfectly with the accessories (towel bar, toilet roll holder, soap dish) I had selected for the bath. I guess that is what impressed me, was the way Lonestar paid attention to the small details, keeping me involved in a any of the decision making processes. In addition, The workers got along well with my dog, so I did not have to keep her crated during the entire project. Another thing that impressed me about LoneStar Contracting, compared to the other companies I solicited for this project. LoneStar Contracting ALWAYS answered the phone when I called. Not once did I need to leave a voice mail. When I called for an initial quote, they were here the next day to look over the project, and LoneStar provided me with a quote with-in 24 hours of the survey. (compare that to the competition which took a week to prepare the quote.) Even If I emailed or SMS'd the foreman, he responded back with-in the hour. The level of customer service from LoneStar is something that I greatly appreciated. I will contact LoneStar Contracting again when we decide to redo the Kitchen. My wife wanted to start with a Kitchen remodel and I wanted a Patio Cover so I could sit outside and enjoy our great view. We started the search for a contractor that could do both projects and had several estimates from local contractors. I stumbled across Babylon JT Construction on Yelp and gave them a call. They sent Sal to my home to talk with us and get an understanding of what we were looking for. Sal immediately impressed me with his knowledge of both kitchen remodel and building a Patio Cover. Sal worked with their estimating team and cost control to provide us with an estimate that fell inline with the other estimates that we had. Since I was impressed with Sal and the estimate was reasonable, we went with them. Upon agreeing to the work Leslie was assigned as our project manager. Leslie was remarkable and one of the hardest workers I ever met. She coordinated all activities of the Kitchen remodel and then later the Patio Cover build. We wanted to have our Kitchen bilevel counter lowered into one level and decided to use Quartzite stone for the countertops and backsplash. We had old wallpaper that was removed and the walls textured and painted. Jose was the craftsman that did the actual work and he was excellent. His attention to detail is remarkable and he was very dependable. The actual Quartzite stone was installed by a subcontractor but it turned out very nice. My wife is very happy with the new kitchen and I must admit it makes a big difference. I have posted a before and after pictures. Whenever we had a question and reached out to Leslie she was always quick to respond even after hours and weekend. After the Kitchen was done which took almost a month by the way we then started with the Patio Cover project. I needed HOA approval so Leslie coordinated with the design team and Leonard the construction supervisor. Leonard is an expert on construction and took the thoughts that I had and put them into reality. He knew exactly what material and labor was needed. Leonard worked with Leslie to develop drawings, renditions and a material listing. Leslie prepared and submitted the HOA packet for me and answered all the questions that they sent back. It took three months between the HOA questions and finally getting approval. Once approved Leslie coordinated with Leonard to start the construction. Leonard had Carlos who turned out to be an outstanding carpenter and overall construction expert. Carlos and his helper did most of the actual work and really did not require much supervision. Leonard and Jorge, another construction supervisor did provide good quality control and visited the job site often. Carlos and his helper did a remarkable job building the Patio Cover that turn out even better than what I had envisioned. We get a lot of complements on it from neighbors in our community.
