Reynaldo and his team came out quickly after a few schedule adjustments for weather and got our roof fixed quickly. His team led by Pedro came and finished the job in an hour to fix a piece of our roof that was bent by high winds. Pedro was very friendly and explained why the roofing material had fallen off and showed me the old and new screws used to attach the metal roofing. High quality service! During some heavy rains, I realized that my roof was leaking. I called Raymond and he was already at my house that next day. He went to the attic and figured the problem in 5 min. Two days later, he was working at my roof along with his team while I was at work. We set up a consultation and he came out as planned; however, after several follow up attempts by me with no reply by them (not even to tell me they don't want the job), I am continuing to look for a contractor. I couldn't be happier with Aztec Contractors. While the prior Yelp ratings (all 5's) were a factor in my choosing them, I still had to follow our procedure and get at least 3 quotes. Not only was Aztec on top of things with their inspection, photographs (very helpful!) and estimate, they were the lowest price of the bunch. Aztec went the extra mile, finishing a 1.5 day job in one day to beat a big storm. The building was snug and tight when the thunderstorm hit. If it helps, the building in question is part of a non-profit operation to deliver clinic, food and clothing to the poor. Reynaldo and Aztec replaced my roof just over a week ago. What a beautiful job and what an awesome experience. My neighbors came out asking me who did the work and I didn't hesitate to tell them about Reynaldo and his company. Specifically, not only was the work and clean up done in a fast and professional manner, but even the proposal/estimate process was impressive. I sought out 2-3 estimates for my roof replacement. They all came in at roughly the same price, but Reynaldo was the only one who didn't charge extra for every little possible add on. One company sent me an estimate but left the door open to add more cost as the job progressed. You know the routine: "I might cost more if we need to do this extra thing or if the house didn't have that or if this little doo-dad also needed to be replaced." After the big flood that just happen here in Houston my roof leaked on the heaviest day of rain. On the following days of rain my roof did not leak which left me puzzled. Ultimately I felt it was wise to have it checked for possible repair. I contacted Aztec Contractors and Reynaldo came out to my home and inspect my roof thoroughly; he climbed onto the roof and enter the attic (which is really tight). After he was done he told me that my roof was fine and didn't need to be repaired. Apparently because of the heavy rain and odd angles in which the rain fell water may have entered one of the roof vents. I was really pleased that Reynaldo didn't try to sell me something that I did not need; that kind of honesty is golden.
