Andy Nichols Roofing is the only company who responded New Year's Eve with a quote. Three other roofers said they were closed for the holiday. Anastacio came out the first week of the new year and was very professional and knowledgeable. We needed some flashing replaced that was really never installed correctly. Anastacio was determined to make sure the work was done correctly. We waited after a heavy rain to ensure there were no more leaks on the ceiling before writing this review. I'm happy to say after a full month and a heavy rain the ceiling is dry. I would recommend this company and will reach out to them again for anymore roofing needs :) read more

I cannot review Andy Nichols Roofing's actual roofing work. When I reached out, I learned they do not service tall townhomes like my own. In spite of this, they referred me to another roofer who I was extremely impressed with and will be working with. Thank you Andy Nichols for the quick responses and the quality referral! read more

Great experience dealing with Andy Nichols Roofing, they were able to replace my roof for a good price and in a timely manner. Couldn't be happier with the results and the great customer service. Highly recommend! read more

This is a professional company with years of experience. Andy is a very nice and professional man who helped me put my roof back in working order after the hurricane. His company has an office, an office manager, General Liability Insurance, Workers compensation and he had his insurance agent send me proof of coverage. Andy gave me his cell phone so any questions I had he immediately communicated with me and addressed it to his workers. I am so thankful to have found him and his company! read more

This review has been long overdue. I got my roofing done a few months ago and was extremely happy with my experience. We quoted many different companies and Andy Nichols price was very competitive and the service was excellent. We felt confident we were in good hands. Communication was top notch and Richard kept us updated throughout the entire process. Highly recommend Andy Nichols for your next roofing project! read more

Had a small roof leak and called my homeowners warranty. They wanted $19,000 to repair a small leak. Called Andy Nichols Roofing and Anastacio arrived the next day, repaired for a fraction of what the home warranty contractor quoted. Anastacio was Honest, professional and polite. He took pictures of what needed to be repaired and the repair work completed. I would highly recommend this company. read more

Excellent work!! did a wonderful job answering all of my questions. just a very friendly and very professional manor, came out super quick to look at damage. took pictures of what needed to be repaired and the repair work completed. I would highly recommend this company. They are also the only company that managed to do a complete roof within the given budget. Everyone else simply talked about a repair. They showed up early and worked until late to get it all done. When they were done cleaning up, you could barely see that they had been there. Then there is patient when it comes to waiting for the insurance paperwork and checks. This kind of service, skills and abilities is sadly getting a rare commodity in this day and age. read more

Estimator came over, no follow-up. Apparently this work is not intere$$ting enough. Contracting 1.0 in Houston, don't count on anything. read more

Andy came to my rescue when no other roofer was available. I had heard about His company from an insurance broker who was trying to help me with quotes for my home insurance. Did you know that your brand new roof will bring down the cost? Well I put my faith in God as I always do with big investments and the It paid off. I was happy with the service and the quote was very competitive. I only had a few tarps nailed down to my roof when a storm unexpectedly blew through with very high winds and tons of hail. I discovered a leak in two areas and called my home insurance company to assist but they let me down. Typical I'm told. Andy's crew came out and was done in a day and came back the next day just to adjust a wind turbine that was squeaky. Yes his crew was efficient and cleaned up well after themselves and no neighbors complained about any mess or cars parked too long in the street. Andy and his team will be my go to roofers for the next few hurricane seasons... read more

Well these guys are amazing. Richard: Fantastic communications and desire to satisfy your needs. Team: Roof was placed in 3 days - and its gorgeous. They spent so much time cleaning up after the job also - nothing left behind but a spectacular new roof. Call these folks for your roofing job - you will be happy. read more

Chris handled the project promptly and professionally. Salvador and the crew knocked out my roof replacement in one day. The cleanup was as if they were never even here! I would highly recommend Andy Nichols Roofing for your roofing project large or small! read more

Richard Smith and his entire team went beyond and above any of my expectations. They are also the only company that managed to do a complete roof within the given budget. Everyone else simply talked about a repair. They showed up early and worked until late to get it all done. When they were done cleaning up, you could barely see that they had been there. Then there is Smith's patient when it comes to waiting for the insurance paperwork and checks. This kind of service, skills and abilities is sadly getting a rare commodity in this day and age. Update-the owner reached out and left a comment back. I appreciate the apology and I can understand it being hectic with the heavier rain season here. I just wasn't sure what happened. No worries! I'll circle back if I still need help and we can take it from there. I didn't realize how things worked from their end and all the moving parts involved. I'd consider working with them again at least based off of the attentiveness and decent apology and explanation. I wish I could give positive reviews, but my experience wasn't that great. They were good and fast about sending someone out to take a look at the condition of my roof, and the guy explained a rough estimate of what the costs would be for the repairs when he finished up, but I never heard anything back after that. I followed up a few times, and just decided to give up and go with another business that needed the work, I guess? Not sure what happened or why the ball was dropped, but it wasn't professional, unfortunately. read more

Excellent work!! Richard did a wonderful job answering all of my questions. This was my second roof in 20 years and I knew what I want and did not want. After several quotes and reading countless reviews, I decided to go with this company. The quality and detail of the roof was awesome. Love the gray gutters with the green lining inside really brought my house back to life !! The clean up was quick and spotless. "No nails left behind" and I looked extra hard for nails. Andy Nichols Roofing gets A++ in my book. I will upload a picture by the end of week. read more

Chris was fast to call us back, he got the quote back to us quickly. He communicated effectively about the crew and when they'd be out and how long they stayed. The work was done on time, correctly and as described. I would recommend this company. read more

Excellent company! In February 2019, I called Andy Nichols Roofing about several leaks on my roof. Salvador came promptly and repaired the leaks. The receipt said that their work was guaranteed for one year. Fast forward to September. I noticed a small stain on my roof. I called Andy Nichols Roofing and Salvador came out the same day. He found the source of the leak, sealed it - no questions asked. Andy followed up with a phone call. I would no doubt use Andy Nichols Roofing again. Simply put, Salvador is excellent. Their customer service is superior. read more

I spoke with Andy on adding some attic vents. He was honest, Provided great advice on what is needed so money wouldn't be wasted or cause other issues. Will be using his services for attic vents and advice on other roof issues. Giving this a 5 start for honest communication, advice to fix the problem and not just charging me money to install something I don't need. read more

They did work for me in the past and from what I know is that I definitely wouldn't use them again. After thousands of dollar spent on my new roof, I still have leaking issues from where I spent $$$ on. What a shame found him here on Yelp and there work was shoddy at best. Agreed, like the other reviewers, I experienced long waits for them to come out and service me as well. read more

Thank you Andy Nichols Roofing and a big thanks to Richard. They helped me out with the whole process and gave me some really great options. Really friendly and easy to talk whenever I had questions. Following the Harvey storms in Houston we needed a new roof. Unsure where to start, I went to Yelp. The company responded to my online request within an hour (it was outside their normal business hours too). An employee, Dean, came over at a convenient time for us, assessed the damage and gave us a quote within a day or two. Once the quote was agreed to, they had us scheduled for a new roof in no time at all (less than a week following a devastating storm is amazing). The day they were to start with the roof I was a bit worried since it was supposed to rain that night but we were assured the job would be done before the rain hit. Our house is over 2,500 sqft and they completed the entire roof before 6pm the same day. Following their departure we found only 1 nail in the flower beds. The rest were cleaned by the crew. I hope I don't have to get a new roof anytime soon but in the event I do or anyone else I know needs one I will be contacting them for it or referring anyone I know to them. Great company and great experience. Thank you! read more

Andy is a nice man, I am in the middle of selling home, buyer tries to ask money to replace the whole roofing which is only 4 year old with lifetime warranty. He sent his man there and check the roof for me and give me honest opinion that roof is in good condition. That is very nice of him to do that even without charge! Strongly recommend him for your roofing needs, very nice and honest man. read more

Our house was hit by lightning which created a hole in the roof. Anastacio was able to come out just a few days after calling. I though he would just look at it and give me a quote but he was able to fix it on the spot for thousands less than another company quoted me. Great peace of mind! read more

One day my husband and I noticed that there was a roof shingle on our lawn. A few days later there was another, then another, and fast forward to a few unexpected storms and strong winds later, we realized that we had to do something or we would have no roof left! I had no idea what a new roof would cost, or what repairs cost, but I was bracing myself for the worst. I made some calls (6-7) to various roofing companies around Houston to get an estimate. Many of these so called reputable companies did not return my call, and just now (2 weeks and thunder storms later) are returning my call. After a few estimates and research for knowledge of roofing materials and the process....we decided to go with Andy Nichols Roofing. The reasons: Mr. Nichols came to our home and really spent time on inspecting our roof and explaining the process to us. He offered a multitude of financing options to suit our needs and his pricing was very reasonable, no where near the astronomical amount that I feared. Mr. Nichols even took the extra time to meet our insurance adjuster to point out the issues that he noticed to our roof. After all is said and done, a few days later we have a brand new roof and we are very happy with it! The crew was professional, Mr. Nichols was thorough and meticulous with the work, and I am confident we made the right choice. A definite recommend. read more

This is based off calling Andy to get a quote. I've yet to start work on the roof yet, but if I were to, I'd definitely call him. Andy was super responsive, and proactive. I was very impressed. He was very honest and helpful and even after giving a quote he called back a few hours later because while he couldn't get out to the house right away, he used google maps to get an aerial shot of the house and give me a more accurate quote. Way to go above and beyond! Since then he's followed up several times and is overall really helpful. Just the kind of person I'd want on a big job like a roof. read more

My roof collapsed after a heavy rain. It was time for a replacement and based on the ratings on yelp (even though he only has 1 review), I decided to give him a call for an estimate. He showed up on time. He took his time to evaluate my old roof and noticed that the roof has 2 layers instead of one like newer roof. He gave me an exact estimate of how much everything would cost. He helped with insurance claiming process. He contacted the insurance person without me having to do anything. He and his team finished everything in one day and cleaned up all debris. The job was flawless. He also adhered to my HOA's restriction and guidelines (roof color and seam). He does offer refinance options. Great process and easy process using him as my roof contractor. read more

I had a leak in my roof. Their response was very fast, and they located the leak and had it repaired in short order. I am quite happy with this company! read more

I'm sure that this company does a good job in roofing but I wouldn't know it since they never came to do an inspection for the entire month. I got the run around via text message from a guy named Chris that told me he would come by every week for a month and never showed up. He now just doesn't even respond to any of my text messages. I would not waste your time with this company. I think they only care if they hear you have a bigger issue so that they can make more $$$. read more

Andy called me back the same day I contacted him. He came out him self and gave me an estimate. The work was done the next day I was available. I have used his services twice and been happy both times. Unlike other companies he will call you back and come out for small repairs. His services are great for fixing issues that less reputable companies did wrong. I highly recommend him for jobs big and small. read more

Workmen wore masks, as did I. They went in attic & up to roof, took pictures showing problem area; explained work needed & also wrote work order with Quote. After talking to my brother & trusted friend, I accepted quote & approved work. After work complete, I was shown pictures of roof and affected areas that were repaired. I was very pleased and the real test will be next time we have heavy rain! read more

Recently had our roof repaired due to a leak around our skylight. We got several quotes and their price was very comparable. The differentiating factor for us was that their price covered fixing the problem right vs a patch job that would work for now and be a problem again in a few years. They also did a thorough check across our roof and fixed a few other potential future problem spots. Highly recommend. read more

I used these guys to get an estimate to replace half of my roof. Richard came out and examined the roof and noticed hail damage. He advised me to call my insurance to have an adjuster come out. The adjuster came out and advised me that the whole roof needs to be replaced. It was quick and painless and the contractors replacing my roof did a great job. I highly recommend these guys. read more

After getting the run around from several local roofing companies, I luckily found Andy Nichols Roofing. They were prompt in returning my call and sent someone out to take a look the same day. I called and left a message for someone to come out and give me an estimate for possible repairs. Andy returned my call the same day and sent out someone the following day. We were unaware of the extent of the damage and an entire new roof was needed. We worked with Richard who walked us through and thoroughly explained the process as we decided to go through our insurance company. I was impressed that Richard assured us that once the claim was processed we are in no way obligated to use them, the decision was entirely ours. Once we made the decision to move forward, Richard and his team were here within a few days and did all the work in one day! They did an excellent job and cleaned up very well when they were done. I highly recommend Andy Nichols Roofing. read more
