Christian, the owner, came out to provide a quote. He took some measurements and then scheduled a time to come back and deliver his proposal. This allowed him time to compile all of the data and figures to ensure that the quote given is the final price without any hidden expenses. They have several products the offer and will provide detailed quotes and a plethora of information about everything they sell. 2 - Production. Once we decided on the product package we wanted, which was the Diamond Package (thank God for financing). Christian had a crew swarm on our house the very next day. The worked so hard and got 99% of the job done on the first day. The next morning they were back out to finish the last minute touches. The owner was onsite for most of the project, checking in that I was happy with the work and always asking if I had any questions or concerns. 3 - Service. I can't rave enough about Christian. So rare is it to find someone that is polite, kind, funny, honest, and just an overall good person. Christian is good people. Plain and simple. I honestly feel like he treated us like he would want to be treated and I have a great amount of respect for his customer service, dedication to his craft, and earning the respect of those around him. I am confident that if I should have any issues in the near future with this new amazing looking roof, that he would be back out in a hot second to take care of me. Great Product. Great Company. I called ASAP; they initially advised that they were behind on schedule (makes sense due to the hurricane) so it would be a few days before they could get to me. Fortunately, once I gave my address they realized someone was in the neighborhood and they came and gave me a quote that same day. Wow! The quote was a fraction, I mean like an insane fraction, of what was being quoted to me by multiple parties. They also advised my roof had several more years left on it before I needed to consider replacement. The roofer was here within the time frame he advised, did one more final inspection to ensure he was fixing all the necessary areas and discussed them with us, finished and explained what he had done. I was so happy to have found them! I do recommend their services for anyone in need!!! Fair rates and great service!! I will say - hold on to the expectation of perky service, the gentleman I dealt with was very direct and to the point. By no means rude at all, quite the opposite, in fact. But also not the preppy secretary from the Houstonian. I will be using them in a few years when it's time to replace my roof.

CONTRACTOR WARNING -- HOUSTON / ORANGE / SAM RAYBURN AREA…read more I'm sharing my experience with Ralph Valenciano of Quality Roofing and Construction LLC for anyone considering hiring him for residential or commercial work. I normally would never bring something like this to social media, but I believe people deserve the opportunity to do their research before handing over thousands of dollars. I'm also sharing this in case anyone else has had a similar experience and has information they would like to provide as I document everything for a case with Harris County. Here is exactly what happened to me. We met Ralph through a friend in April. Over the following months, we golfed together several times, met for drinks, and genuinely considered him a friend. In August, my laundry room flooded and had to be completely redone. After seeing a video I posted of the damage, Ralph reached out and offered to help. I already have contractors I know and trust, but Ralph strongly encouraged me to let his company handle the project. He showed me photos of previous work that gave me confidence he could deliver the laundry room I wanted. The scope included new drywall, baseboards, flooring and custom cabinetry. His quote was approximately $7,954, with a 50% deposit of roughly $4,000. I initially asked to pay by American Express. He sent me a Square payment link, I paid it, and within days the transaction was refunded. Ralph told me there was an issue with the tax information connected to his merchant account and asked me to pay by check instead. On August 27, I gave him the check. Shortly afterward, my credit union called asking me to confirm the transaction because Ralph was physically at the bank attempting to cash the check. That should have been my first major warning. I was originally told the project would begin within days and be completed approximately one week later. That did not happen. Week after week, there were delays and explanations. Ralph continued sending me drawings, sketches and ideas for the laundry room, but the promised work was not being completed. Meanwhile, my laundry room had been demolished down to the walls and floors and was left that way. On September 15, Ralph finally returned and told me the entire project would be completed within two days. He arrived approximately two hours late with cabinet bases -- but no cabinet faces, no drawers, no tile and none of the other materials necessary to complete the job. He performed drywall work that day, left after a few hours, and told me he would return early the following morning and finish everything. He was supposed to arrive at 9:00 a.m. He never showed. After I spent most of the day waiting and was unable to reach him, he finally called around 3:00 p.m. and told me he had run into "logistical issues." At that point, I started researching. I began looking through public records, company information and reviews associated with him and his businesses. What I found concerned me enough that I no longer felt comfortable allowing him to continue working in my home. On September 16, I requested my money back. He has refused to refund my deposit and is now claiming that I owe him an additional $527. The photos attached to this post show the condition my laundry room was left in and the work that had been performed when I requested my money back. I paid approximately $4,000. I do not have a completed laundry room. I do not have completed cabinetry. I do not have my flooring installed. I do not have the finished project I contracted and paid for. Instead, I have a demolished laundry room and a dispute over my deposit. Please learn from my experience: research anyone you hire BEFORE handing over a large deposit -- even when that person was introduced through someone you trust or you consider them a friend. If you have personally hired or done business with Ralph Valenciano or Quality Roofing and Construction LLC and had a similar experience, please message me. I am documenting everything and would like to hear directly from anyone with firsthand information. Receipts, invoices, messages, photos and the current condition of my laundry room are attached. Please share this so someone else has the opportunity to do the research I wish I had done before handing over my money.

**Avoid at All Costs - Dishonest, Unreliable, and a Repeat Offender**…read more Hiring Ralph Valenciano, owner of Quality Roofing & Siding, LLC, was a complete nightmare. From the beginning, he was dishonest about the job, constantly making excuses and lying about the progress. He took our money but didn't use it to buy the designated materials, leaving us wondering where our funds actually went. His workmanship was terrible--sloppy, incomplete, and far from professional. He does not supervise his subcontractors and rarely visits the work site. He is a master manipulator giving truly believable explanations for delays, missing materials, lack of supervision, and errors in construction. To make matters worse, he has left our home in a complete mess, showing no regard for finishing the job properly. After dealing with this disaster, we discovered that he has a history of these bad practices. Unfortunately, we are not the first to be scammed by him. **Do your research.** Ralph Valenciano has worked in multiple Texas counties, including **Jefferson and Orange**, and has operated under other aliases, such as **CRS Construction**. If you value honesty, reliability, and quality work, **stay far away** from him. Save yourself the headache and hire someone reputable instead!

Had a great experience with Craddock Roofing and Lawson Craddock…read more I got quotes from Craddock and several other roofing companies. Lawson was very thorough and gave me several estimate revisions as I worked through figuring out exactly what we wanted. In the end, Craddock also had the best price. Our house is a large 1-story with a large detached garage and carport. Our entire roof area entailed over 70 squares. The Craddock crew started exactly as promised at 7am on a Monday morning and finished on Wednesday. I very much liked the Craddock crew, all of whom had been with Craddock for a long time. Jesse, their foreman, was a 40 year Craddock employee and he was excellent. The crew was polite and very professional and very skilled. They cleaned up every day and there was no loud music, etc. When they finished our job, they cleaned up everything, including blowing all the leaves off of our driveway. It has been three weeks since Craddock did our job and, to date, I have found only one roofing nail and one small piece (1.5" x 1.5") of old shingle. We had used Stilley Roofing in the past and they always did a nice job but our Craddock Roof is superior in lots of ways. We also got a quote from Stilley and they were significantly higher than Craddock. We have gotten many compliments on our roof. It is a beautiful and very professional high quality roof. The other thing I got Craddock to do was to replace our old gutter guards with new high quality mesh gutter guards. The gutter guards are a big plus and they enhance the look of our roof.
