The employees will admit that they "don't have the best system" and can't seem to get to the screens they need to help answer questions. In other news, their repairs are only temporary and they try to upsell to new systems even though they putting the older system. We've used them for way too long but there just isn't anyone else in town to do the job. At the end of this transaction the worker was nice enough use his hand truck to take the chemicals out to the car.

Delivery took over two weeks, which was disappointing. I was told it would be first thing in the morning and received a call the day of the delivery and they said they were on their way. It's only about 45-60 minutes away. Nearly two hours later, they arrived. I wouldn't purchase for here if not for their contract with Costco. Employees gave me conflicting information and the one who worked at the Costco event seemed to not even care about what he was selling and did share much info. I ended up driving from Costco to the Emerald store to get better and more thorough information.

This was not true and although we were able to install it ourselves it was not perfect and we had to replace the liner within a one year. We installed it ourselves again and it leaked around the skimmer until the end of last summer when thoughts of just taking the pool down (due having to refill the pool daily) entered our minds. Our skills were obviously not up to par in pool liner installation so in March of this year we decided to inquire about getting some help from Haven Pool and Spa. We are so pleased this is what we did. Admittedly, we were taken aback at the price of buying a liner and getting it installed as it was as much as we paid for the pool. However, knowing that it took us days to do it ourselves (and it was not done correctly in the end), forced us to make the decision to have the professionals do it for us. Boy, did it make a difference and we truly wish this is the way we would have done it in 2020. I can tell our pool will last many years now and we will not have to continually worry about leaking and other issues. Use the professionals at Haven Pool and Spa! So when they knock on your door you owe them close to $300! They take their sweet time and walk through everything two three four times - generating more hours without actually doing any work. They also won't come out without a cc on file which they charge the moment they drive away. This means you have no idea of what your bill is before your card is swiped. Our simple fix of an issue costs more than a medical bill. I regret calling them and for your sake I advise you don't!

We had ongoing issues with our pool heater, and not only did their tech fix the equipment problem, he took the time to look at our entire setup. He discovered that our gas meter wasn't sized correctly for both the home and the pool. Because of his recommendation, NW Natural came out (for free) and replaced the meter (also free). Our pool has been running better ever since. They also appreciated that we handle our own water maintenance -- no judgment, no upselling, just genuine support and professionalism. Found an amazing deal at Classic but that has been the only amazing part of this. After finally getting the pad put down and electric run to the tub we were set to fill it and enjoy. Nope Fire it up, test water, adjust the chemistry only to have it shut off and throw error codes. Fine, call and get service out to see what's up. Gent who came out was super knowledgeable and thorough in going through everything to be sure what was wrong. This is where I am now stuck and angry. The main pump is seized from rust. Rust from where? Sitting in the showroom for 2 yrs. That would not be a big deal IF I was not now being asked to buy the new pump for $670.00. Why? It's not under warranty after 2 yrs. From the get go we were lied to. Told we were getting a discount because my partner is a Vet. Wrong, it was to move an old floor model. We were told it had a custom top. Another lie, the top we were given is two+ inches too big all the way around. I was told by service that someone was supposed to show us how to do chemistry for it, never happened or spoken about. Now I am sitting here with a tub that does not work, expected to pay for a new pump or have a useless hot tub. I don't care about buying a floor model. If they would have said it was a 2+yr old floor model I would have said test it first or deeper discount. What really makes it all worse is the lies. It's a crap business conduct, it results in customers that go elsewhere not 'customers for life' like their site says. I will update if/when I get resolution. UPDATE: pump is ordered on the shops dime. Just waiting for it to show up. Cover supposedly has been ordered to replace the one that is way too big. Still not a hot tub yet but working that way. Really thinking I am going to find some place else to service when this is all done.
