I have been drawing them on for 10+ years now and last year I made the commitment to have them microbladed. The artist I went to offered a "natural" look, so I thought it would be a great fit. It wasn't. I was displeased with the color, the shape (especially the tail!), the placement, and pretty much everything about my new brows even after having multiple, expensive touch-ups. I essentially ended up still drawing them on every day after I covered up the microblading with foundation and concealer. When I discovered Tessa on Instagram, I instantly fell in love with her work. I assumed this information would be reviewed before my appointment if it affected my eligibility for treatment. Instead, I received a phone call as I was parking for my appointment--after driving about 45 minutes --to tell me they couldn't perform the laser facial because I use retinol. To make matters worse, I had called the day before to ask which parking garage to use and whether parking was validated. I was told to use a specific garage and that parking would be validated. After arriving, I learned they only validate parking on weekdays--not Saturdays. That information should have been provided when I specifically asked. I appreciate providers prioritizing patient safety, and I don't fault them for declining treatment but the lack of prior notice and incorrect information about parking left a really bitter taste. the staff took zero responsibility for their oversight and said I should have read the policy.
