WONDERFUL Family owned Austin Business in Self Care, Alternative Health! I have been receiving body work from Alejandro for a few months now and AHMAZING improvements! I'm used to extreme-hard pressure but this precision work done by Alejandro is a much gentler process for body, supporting more release, more purification and more benefits! I AM a HUGE fan now and HIGHLY recommend Live Love Relax! I have been in Alternative health since 1993 and have spent the last 5 years trying MANY modalities for healing. Alejandro has advanced skills and intuition making him a master! Jillian and he have created a delightful space for healing and I hope everyone has the experience, I am receiving now. read more

I have been going to Live LoveRelax for a monthly massage for several years....returning for various reasons. Jillian always inquires about any current issues I am having that would direct the course of the massage. She nails it every time! She uses a variety of techniques that fit my needs. I have years of experiences with massage, and I keep returning to LLR for good reasons. They know what they are doing, they wisely shape their therapeutic approach, and are always a delight to do business with. read more

Read so many good reviews about this place but my massage was quite disappointing. I specifically asked my massage therapist to focus on my back, neck and shoulders yet they spent less than 15 minutes on it. After about 20 minutes, I was already lying supine. I definitely felt unheard. The massage also wasn't deep enough. I wanted to focus more on specific pressure points but it felt more like a Swedish massage. Overall, I left feeling not refreshed, still sore from my workout. The massage therapist was very nice though and so was front desk service. Easy place to find, plenty of parking outside. read more

Live Love Relax - Massage Therapy Near Me - Austin, Texas

Live Love Relax is a small independently owned massage business. I had a massage with Jo and it was awesome! I've had other massages that felt more like a "one-size fits all" massage that wasn't very personalized to the individual client. I've also had massages where yes my tension areas got release but I didn't feel relaxed afterwards. With Jo however, not only did she release my tension areas, but she really customized the massage according to my body's personal needs and she was able to feel where my body needed extra attention. Jo probably gave one of the best massages I've had and again I love how she personalized my massage according to my needs. read more

The therapist was excellent! Their knowledge of human anatomy shined. After speaking of my pain and discomfort they immediately knew where to focus. They took my tension and melted it away with pressure and motion. When the session was done I felt so much better than when I walked in. I highly recommend booking an appointment and treat yourself! read more

Great session and overall atmosphere. Wish my therapist would have used more force, but overall great experience!

I've been coming to LLR for several years and always have a good experience. The suite is clean, quiet and has easy parking. I saw a new therapist, Bre, and she did a great job. She was able to adjust her pressure when I asked and I was walking easier when I left. read more

My massage with Shirley was very relaxing and satisfying. Shirley is very nice and effective as a massage therapist.

Came in for focused care therapy on certain region to see if it could help in recovery with pulled muscle. Jilian is so sweet, she took my call and listened to my needs. Jillian radiates a personality that feels genuine, to want to help the clients that come through the door. I think Initial appointments tend to be the starting point to learn each-other, figure out what is best, where the energy is and to how to achieve the best outcome. I had provider, Jayelle. Where I 'am at in my journey, through uncertainty, I can feel nervous in a new environment however I felt safe during my session. I was able to communicate well with her during the process. I'm glad I went. There are other experienced staff to help provide clients with their various needs and I felt encouraged to come back. read more

Every massage therapist I have seen here has been awesome, but Bree is especially amazing! They have a very affordable first time rate, which is what brought me in initially, but the quality of their practitioners is what has brought me back every month for the past year. If you're looking for a massage, I highly recommend giving them a try. read more

I love love love LLR! Jilian and Alejandro run a beautiful, friend Lynn business. The space is so clean and their attention to detail is top notch. They are consummate professionals and will fix what ails you. read more

I had a terrible crick in my shoulder/neck and the team got me in for an appt same day. Bree worked hard to get all the knots out -- and she did! I'd definitely book with her again. read more

I heard about the $57 hour long massage they were running and immediately booked the appointment. I was scheduled with Theresa and she was very calming and thorough with her massage. I have tried many different massage studios and I believe Theresa is absolutely incredible due to her many years of experience and knowledge of the body. Will be going back. read more

I had my massage appointment with Tier- she seriously was the best massage therapist I have ever had. I often get massages on vacations and have gotten quite a few in California specifically Orange and Los Angeles counties. Tier spent time going over my specific needs and gave me recommendations for my pain. She was amazing. This place is nothing fancy at all but they certainly have a gem working here. The office staff is new and she didn't really know the details of the pricing but she was super sweet. read more

Jillian is amazing. I came in feeling anxious from life struggles and didn't feel grounded. Jillian combined her knowledge of craniosacral work with Rolfing and I left feeling grounded and connected to my body for the first time in months. She is very intuitive and really listens to your needs I highly recommend and will definitely be back! read more

Trying LLR is one of the best decisions I made this year. It's not your typical massage spot; it's a lot more personal and everyone's so genuinely sweet & empathetic while remaining 100% professional. The staff are all on the same wavelength -- they all seem to feel that LLR is a bit of a sanctuary, and the way they speak, move, and interact reflects that. I was matched with a skillful therapist who totally got my vibe and made it easy for me to feel completely at ease. And scheduling etc. was all a breeze. Ditch the corporate franchises and try this local business; you'll not regret it read more

I showed up to Live Love Relax in tears of pain and left in literal tears of joy. I CANNOT thank Alejandro enough from the bottom of my heart for squeezing me in today after I woke up in excruciating pain. I am currently training to compete in bodybuilding and have recently started to take recovery more seriously. After looking up and calling a few places I am so grateful to have ended up at Live Live Relax. Alejandro's understanding of the human bodily, willingness to teach me about my own body and how it works as well as his incredible energy and knowledge have truly transformed me. I have been dealing with debilitating hip flexor/leg pain for years....I've just learned to ignore it. It was so bad that my quads have started to develop differently. I came in limping and left walking straight - without pain - for the first time in YEARS. I don't know if these are typical results - but I can tell you Alejandro is truly and deeply gifted. Looking forward to working through the rest of my many issues with him. Thank you thank you thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!! read more

I go here as often as I can. I've seen Jillian, Alejandro, and Christina, and they are all fantastic. The decor is so pretty, the atmosphere is relaxing, and all the therapists really know their stuff. I am kind of a massage snob and have never had anything other than an amazing and therapeutic experience here. Also, you can pay with your HSA card if you have one. read more

Amazing experience! Careful, mindful, kind. Alejandro has healing hands. I will certainly return, even if I have no specific pains.

I did a 10 session Rolfing series with Jillian and have also done many deep tissue massages with her before and since. The Rolfing sessions were transformative and painless. And old knee sprain injury from 1987 no longer bothers me now. And my posture, 5 months since the series ended seems permanently changed for the better and my alignment and comfort doing yoga is much improved. Every massage session, which is what I usually do now, Jillian hones in on areas that will benefit from her work, she is very intuitive about finding knots and tense areas and helping the tensions release with various techniques, and she is great about asking for feedback about what is working and how much pressure and time on an area feels right. All the session I do with Jillian have helped both with physical ailments and to reduce anxiety and depression. I am looking forward to working with her over the holidays and I highly recommend her as the most professional, talented and skilled body worker I have ever worked with. I think her skills in Rolfing and experience teaching at the Rolfing Institute in Colorado help her know the latest techniques and how to be able to do deep tissue work painlessly. My friend also goes to Alejandro, and he has helped her neck improve so much that she is able to dance and do hip hop again, which she had give up, due to pain, for over a year. Highly recommend both Jillian and Alejandro. read more

A wedding day massage is an absolute necessity for all brides moving forward! I added on a one hour chair massage the week of my wedding, super last minute, and it was the best thing I did! My stepmom did 30 minutes and I did 30 minutes but you could easily do 10-20 minutes per girl. It set up the entire day for success. Not only did you get to relax, but it was the first time that day that I sat in silence and really thought about the day ahead of me and took in all of the moments I was about to have. They bring their chair, scented oils and flowers and really set the mood. My only regret is not hiring them for the morning after the wedding to take care of my husband and I after the long night! read more

They set up a relaxing and healing atmosphere at our location for a dozen of us. Very professional and timely set up and execution. I had a 90 minute with Alejandro, which was fantastic. He even gave me instructions on stretches I can do at home to help alleviate some of my pain. Sufficient attention was given to my problem areas, while leaving time to give me the full body relaxation that was my goal. Highly recommend! read more

Jillian is the best masseuse I've ever met. She has magic hands. I sometimes think there is nothing to work on, I don't really need a massage, and yet still leave feeling a million times better. Not to mention the times I *need* the massage, and leave with more movement and less pain. Alejandro and Jillian are also kind people who I met when we scheduled Live Love Relax to do bridal party chair massages for our doomed 2020 wedding. Now, I am a monthly client. read more

Live Love Relax makes me feel right at home. They always take the time to understand my needs for my treatment. Alejandro is the best deep tissue massage I've been able to find in town. They truly care about their customers long term healing journey! I love it here. read more

I have been going here ever since I moved to Austin, and I absolutely love it. Jillian takes time to really understand what's going on with your body and does an amazing job every session. 10 stars!!!! read more

As a chiropractor, I have used a lot of massage therapists over the years. I can honestly say Jillian is as good as it gets. Very skilled hands, a great working knowledge of anatomy. You can tell that she has had extensive training in many techniques. One of my concerns with trying a new therapist is that they won't be strong enough to do a good deep tissue massage but she was great. Definitely recommend. read more

Love this place! They are great at accommodating requests for appointments and the staff is very friendly. I have been a client of Christina's and absolutely adore her. She listens and customizes her massages based on areas needing extra relaxation and/or lymphatic drainage. She has a relaxing touch and approach that stands out from others and I often find myself falling asleep during her treatments. I highly recommend her especially for manual lymphatic drainage service. read more

Wonderful massage with perfect pressure to work out my shoulder knots. She listened to my needs and did an amazing job with all of them. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Amazing! I will definitely be going back monthly! Very clean, professional and one of the best massages I have ever had.

Alejandro and Jillian are INCREDIBLE. I've done so much work with each of them over the past 18 months - from energy clearing to relaxing message and from structural integration to cranial sacral therapy. In my experience, they are able to tap in to what is needed most and I ALWAYS leave feeling loved, nurtured, safe, and expansive. I have referred several family members, friends, and my employees - all of which still reach out to thank me every time they have a session. When my daughter was 3-4 she had speech challenges. Jillian worked with her a few sessions and its completely gone. I can't possibly list all of the physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic healing that these two have gifted me with. I'm such a regular now that I buy packages to keep it simple. I LOVE LOVE LOVE you! read more

I had the privilege of having Alejandro massage me for years in Boulder CO. I truly miss him. The first time he worked on me, and specifically on knots in my neck and shoulders, I asked if he had physical therapy training because his ability to work into and stretch out my tightness was akin to a physical therapist's approach. I have had a lot of body work in my lifetime and Alejandro is easily my favorite massage therapist. HIs knowledge of anatomy is superb and he will be quiet if you want a quiet massage. My husband also had massages with Alejandro. He appreciated the diligence, attention to detail, empathy and skill of Alejandro. I ditto these descriptors. Austin's gain is Boulder's loss. Enjoy him! read more

My massage with Jillian was so helpful and relaxing! I have had this chronic nagging neck pain on and off for a few years now. It was really acting up so we just focused on that area for the session. I'm glad we did because I needed it. I left feeling so much looser, not in pain, and able to turn my head easily again. Since then the pain has been rare, I'm so thankful! Jillian really listens to what you need and want. The studio is calm and relaxing and she makes sure your session is, too. I also got to experience a Reiki session with Alejandro which was so grounding and relaxing, I highly recommend checking them out. Thank you! read more

Amazing chair massages! Jillian came out to my office and we each got 15 minute massages. It was not enough time! But I had to spread the love to the whole team. She immediately found the spots that needed some love. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommend, best chair massage I've had read more

I love Jillian, always very flexible with my schedule and pays specific attention to my needs, aches, or pains. Def recommend!!

Great space, convenient location, and very warm and knowledgeable therapist. Will be back!

Wonderful experience. If you are looking for a massage that provides long term relief from your pain and tension, look no further. This is a very cultivated practice far better than any spa or masseuse I've been to in Austin. The communication is key and the sessions are constantly tailored to your specific body and needs. There is no way to go wrong here - 5/5 stars, highly recommend. read more

These folks do serious massage for serious people. I had to find a new massage therapist as my therapist of two years has left the Veteran's Administration. I tried a few chain places around town and they just don't cut it. I found Live Love Relax via Yelp and decided to try them out. I really had nothing left to lose at that point. The intake interview was short and to the point. It focused more on my needs and history rather than what they were selling. The office was pleasant (more like my Primary Care Physician's office rather than a "spa"). It is noteworthy that the interview was done by the therapist rather than a front desk person. The massage itself was exactly as it should have been. I need Deep Tissue work due to injuries and I got that in spades. It hurt. It should hurt. It was focused and muscle layer intense. The therapist worked her way downward into the muscle rather than across the top; that is important if you are seeking true therapy. I have no knowledge of their lighter work as of yet; but I need therapy, not a "Swedish" type of massage. If you can do Deep Tissue correctly you can do any other type easily. They are working to establish themselves as a CHOICE Provider for Veterans too. That is a plus for me. All in all I left feeling I had a professional massage by a well trained therapist. I hurt terribly the next day which a sign of a real Deep Tissue therapy session. I will go back. These people are serious about what they do. I need and want that. The prices are very reasonable and I intend to use them as a permanent solution to my prescribed massage therapy. read more

I'm so happy I found Live Love Relax. I've had many professional massages, but it's hard to find a masseuse who is able to really listen to my needs and adjust the session to meet them. Jillian was so thorough and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted - and she delivered. From start to finish, Jillian made sure I was comfortable, my concerns were voiced, and that she was addressing these concerns. She is so knowledgeable and was able to provide me relief for the tension and pain in my upper back and neck. The entire experience was relaxing and therapeutic. I cannot wait to return! read more
