No hyperbole, I believe Larissa West is the absolute best massage therapist in Austin. She has a deep understanding of the human body, how it moves, where it holds tension, and how one area of the body is tied to another and may impact it. She's strong so she can get deep into your muscles and tendons. I always have to ask other massage therapists to go stronger but not Larissa. I always feel a thousand times better after a massage with her, my tension is relieved and I'm more in tune with my body. On a personal level, she's also just a grounding calming person. There are good vibes surrounding her and her practice. She's communicative, smart, and open. Lastly, prices are a thing. Hers are very reasonable. I am SO GLAD to have found this place! I just had a thai yoga massage with Maryam and it was so delightful! The pressure was deep in all the right places, she helped with my tightest places and did some beautiful gentle stretching that felt AMAZING!! I get a lot of massage and could really tell that she knew what she was doing! Also, the studio is beautiful! So clean and decorated beautifully. The temperature was cool (which most people like but I get really cold) so they brought me the perfect blanket to keep me cozy while she worked.
