I've been seeing Dr. Heather after having a baby mid October. Her knowledge is impeccable about everything. The lymphatic massages are amazing and the fact that it actually helps to reduce swelling and puffiness after c-section is amazing. I have seen her twice and both times i have felt great. She even guided me on how to do at home drainage massage and massage my c-section to help heal my incision area. The massage itself doesn't hurt, and is so soothing. Jessica is an absolute gem!! She's so cheerful and lovely to talk to. She (maybe the practice, I'll update if I find out) specializes in post surgery lymphatic massages to help get fluid moving and out, this helps speed up the recovery. I recently went under 10 days ago to have my diastasis recti (separated abs due to oregnancy) repaired and came in for some belly swelling and back swelling. She was so tender, it didn't hurt at all and to be honest I was pretty nervous/scared going in because I am already hunched over and in quite a bit of pain, but there was nothing to fear and she made me feel completely at ease. Annie and Jessica have both worked wonders on me and I'm so grateful. I came to Austin Lymphatic at the recommendation of my surgeon at Westlake Derm, who insists this is the best place. The massages have really helped break up post-op scar tissue, relieve pressure and restore my mobility. They've given me wonderful tips for working on things at home between massages and have been encouraging about my progress.
