I cannot say enough good things about Erin and how the work she has done with me has completely changed my life. I suffered a debilitating low back injury in 2009; since then I have been through four different forms of physical therapy, had two steroid injections/epidurals, tried electroshock therapy, seen five different chiropractors, tons of massages, three different neurosurgeons (who all said I'm too young for surgery), a pain management doctor, and an entire horde of at-home remedies and OTC treatments. Some of these helped temporarily, but the pain was always there, ready to come back, sometimes worse than before. Then I met Erin through a friend who saw her for her chronic knee issues. Erin is incredibly knowledgeable and talented. I had no idea what myofascial release was until I visited her. She took the time to explain everything to me in terms I could understand. I went to see Erin after my husband (who is very particular and a harsh critic) had highly recommended her. My appointment was to help with gastro issues that I had been having for 4 years and taking medication for one year. After seeing Erin, I have now been off of my meds and feeling great for six months. Although I originally went in for my gastro issues, she also helped me with other chronic problems I had been just dealing with and not realizing there was a solution. I injured my shoulder in a car accident 15 years ago that would act up occasionally. While she was working with me, she noticed my shoulder and adjusted it. I visited Erin for pelvic floor work likely related to giving birth to 2 kids. She is fantastic and I highly recommend her for many types of body work! Her office is calm and private, like what you would expect from a massage therapist. I like the integration of physical therapy and massage therapy. It is highly effective! Erin has a great knowledge of how the body works and she gives easy, useful exercises to do at home. My issues were mild and I started noticing improvements after just 2 sessions.
