I had stem cell treatment which healed my shoulder and helped me avoid another surgery. They have fixed me after so many injuries. I'm so glad I found them (recommended by another chiro who no longer took my insurance!). Dr Fluitt is an excellent chiropractor who will be honest with you and offer you many alternatives, even if it means recommending an outside specialist.. And they don't keep making you come back for visit after visit. There's also good PTs and an excellent PA on staff who's well versed in orthopedics. Jeff Fluitt and his team are great! I am a marathon runner and had nerve issues along with some tightness and muscle strain. I went to another Physical Therapy office and they were just guessing as to what was wrong and not doing anything in making it better. I had a partially torn supraspinatus (rotator cuff) that had been nagging me for about 6 months. I went in and had PRP procedure. I was in and out quickly, no pain , no hassle. With the light duty suggestions given to me in combo with the PRP, I'd have to not only do I feel better. I feel at 95%. Pain was 7/10 ...hurt to lift and roll over in bed Pain now is barely noticeable only on the outermost limits of movement 100% would recommend and ill never have a correctable issue nag me like that without going to see these guys. read more

I came to Austin Preferred for multiple issues, mostly having to do with me knee and shoulder. What I was most impressed with is how they have multiple providers who used different techniques to treat my specific injuries. For my knee it was a combination of Physical Therapy and laser therapy. I went from a state of constant pain to 100% pain free after just a few weeks of treatment. For my shoulder they used this miracle massage device in addition to the Active Release Technique. Both hurt quite a bit during the treatment sessions but I found quite a bit of relief once my body recovered. The entire staff from front desk to the providers is very helpful and supportive, not to mention their beautiful office which is different from almost other clinics. read more

After struggling for two years and going to 3 separate PTs and 1 chiropractor to help solve chronic biceps tendonitis, I came to his office as a last resort before having to choose surgery. Less than 3 months later I'm now back at the gym lifting without any pain. I have been to many different chiropractors over the years, but by far Dr. Fluitt and his team have impressed by the most by far. When I have visited other chiropractic offices they just adjust you and you are in and out the door, but here they incorporate many techniques to help you feeling better as quickly as possible. This is the first office I have found that offers massages as part of your visit. Now that I have experienced this I would never have it another way. I carry a lot of stress in my neck and back and without a massage prior it is very difficult to be adjusted. Also, I dont think you can expect your back and neck to heal if you are only getting adjustments and not working out knots etc. I also like that they always give me stretching/strenghtening exercises and taught me how to do trigger point therapy, so that I can work on my neck and back between visits. Great place and people! The common room is your basic busy PT "gym," but there are different treatment modalities offered, including chiropractics, massage, and trigger point injections. PT Alicia is knowledgable and helpful. The dry needling she did for me was surprisingly effective. PTA Alyssa is the rock star of the bunch. I loved when she was assigned to work with me, but I also observed her in general. She knows everyone and their specific program, remembers details, and works to adapt to their needs. Give that girl a raise! There was another PT who I believe is "contract." She wasn't too impressive but was nice enough. I didn't work with the chiropractor, but he seemed efficient, and his clients seemed happy. The front desk staff were pretty impressive with remembering who I was and were very sweet. read more
