I've been to this massage place twice before without issue, which made my experience yesterday incredibly uncomfortable and bizarre. When I arrived, staff seemed confused by my appointment and the vibe immediately felt awkward. I requested a male masseuse which was accommodated at first. During the massage, the owner interrupted the session to have me redo paperwork while I was face down and topless on the table because I forgot to write the date instead of asking me afterwards. Later, the door was opened multiple times while I was actively being massaged face down so staff could casually talk to the therapist for almost an entire minute. At one point they apparently switched massage therapists entirely without informing me or asking for consent -- suddenly a woman, instead of the man I began with, was talking to me and I had no idea someone else was touching me. One therapist was coughing throughout the session, and another handled my body very aggressively, moving my legs without warning and forcing my hypermobile knees into uncomfortable positions. My neck hurts today afterward. The worst moment was when I was flipping over and the door opened AGAIN while I was completely exposed on top. No explanations or apologies. Overall the entire experience felt chaotic, invasive, unprofessional, and deeply uncomfortable. Honestly I feel violated. I've never had a massage where multiple people worked on me without explanation, the room was repeatedly interrupted, and my privacy felt so disregarded. read more

I had an incredible massage for Mother's Day. Let's Relax is a small massage place with a plenty of parking. As you walk in, you're welcomed with tranquil music, a comfy couch and some cookies. I made a reservation for 4:15p the day of. They called me quickly to change the appt at 4:45p. The room was ready quickly. The room smelled nice, with low lighting and very calm. I got a deep tissue massage with a focus on the upper body for 60min. WOOOW. The massage was pretty incredible. They were able to relive some knots, plus some. That said, the treatment room felt a bit humid and had a slight odor, which took away from the experience just a bit. Music also wasn't loud enough. The massage beds also weren't as plush as I prefer, but nothing deal-breaking. I am usually paired with one of the male masseuses and he is amazing at making sure he gives a good deep pressure massage and they pay attention to the spots that you ask and request to focus on. Unlike any massage I've ever had. Went and had a couples massage with my bf. He did say he enjoyed it but I on the other hand did not. They massage therapist did not take time to meet with us before our massage to go over any problem areas or areas to avoid. They came and didn't say were to us and started the massage the first 5 to 8 minutes he was massaging me with the sheet on me, which I thought was odd. The whole building was super warm. There was no music playing in our room and despite me writing on the piece of paper that I wanted my neck, shoulders, and back to be concentrated on it most I did not feel like they took the time to really work out all the knots I had. I was in From out of town for a work trip and I thought I would treat myself and my boyfriend to a nice massage but I will definitely not be going back here in the future. The Reservation: I called and made a reservation for a couples massage. Reservations made and confirmed. On the day of the massage, I took a wrong turn that was going to have me 5 minutes late for the massage due to the traffic so I called and told the person who answered the phone that we'd be 5 minutes late to the massage that we had booked. The lady said okay. The Arrival: When we arrived, I attempted to check in the for the time I booked the couples massage and the lady told me that she didn't have me down for a reservation which I knew I made a reservation and when I called on the phone to let her know I'd be late to the couples massage, she said okay. She told us to give her a few minutes and she'd get us to a room . The Experience: As we were waiting, we were offered beverages and the experience began to take a turn from negative to positive. We went to our room and there were two beds that were perpendicular to one another. I was on the bed near the door with my feet facing the other bed. As we're about 7 minutes into the massage, I hear the door open and some chatter near the other bed for about 2 minutes. Then I hear footsteps leaving the room, but I didn't hear the door close so I lifted my head to see if the door was closed and it wasn't so my massage therapist closed the door. A few minutes later the door opened again and the person walked to the other bed again and was talking to the person doing the other massage. I hear a lot of movement and I'm trying to figure out how many people are in the room. The person leaves, but again didn't close the door. My massage therapist closed the door again. A third time the door was opened and I hear footsteps and chatter. At this point, I'm trying to figure out what's going on because this was the third interruption into the massage so I lifted my head to look back and see two people talking. Not too sure what was going on, but I definitely wasn't liking all of the distractions along with leaving the door open and leaving me exposed. I think this happened maybe 3 or 4 times. Fast forward and I keep hearing little light taps on the floor and whining. My mind was all over the place trying to figure out what that noise was. I definitely couldn't relax with all the distractions going on. Finally, I hear something by ear so I jumped and looked up. Due to my reaction, the massage therapist grabbed a dog and took the dog out the room. Oh my goodness, there was a little dog in the room for a while making a lot of noise (deep sigh with an eye roll). The massage: The massage itself was actually amazing and the massage therapist did a great job. My only wish was that the massage was longer and with less distractions, of course. The review: The massage deserves 5 stars. The establishment and experience deserves 2.5-3 stars so I give the overall place 4 stars to average it all out due to the massage itself being great, but everything else being not so great. read more

For $70, they got me in immediately for a really lovely incredible hour long massage with some extra nice hot stone work at the end, and it would have been well worth it all just for that experience. But after about 15 minutes of warming up, this massage therapist went to TOWN on this angry knot in my back. This knot had showed up a week ago and had been getting worse, just awful. I wasn't even sure if getting a massage was the right move, it hurt so bad. When I got there, I just told them I didn't know what kind of massage I wanted, just that my back was hurting in this one awful spot. She spent a lot of our time just working on that one spot in different ways. It wasn't pleasant. It wasn't relaxing. It hurt just enough, but the pain in my back subsided considerably the next morning because of her work. (And the rest of the massage was relaxing after we got through that hard but necessary part). I seriously don't know what I did to mess up the muscle in my back like that, but Angie (or Angela maybe?) helped so much. I'm definitely going back. read more

Just landed in town today and in need of a massage. At 530pm, we went on their site to book an appointment for 6pm for a couples message but only available time was for 730pm. We called and luckily they had an opening for 615pm. Due to traffic we arrived just on time. The hostess/ manager greeted us right away and was expecting us already. She quickly took us to our room and got us settled. Asked which style we wanted and areas we wanted to focus on. They have 5 styles listed, one of them involved getting stepped on for added pressure. They have hot stones as a add on free of charge (i know a lot of other places charge for this). We got undressed and as soon as the masseuse walked in, they greeted us and got right down to it. They were not chatty and only asked how was the pressure. This was exactly what other reviews said as well. This is a no frills place, no amenities. Clean. If you're trying to get tension released then this is the place. This was exactly what we were looking for. We felt so relaxed afterwards. This place has a few glowing reviews so we decided to try something new, and I am SO happy we did! Wow! We both received excellent massages, above average in my experience. The location was very neat and tidy, smelled nice, and had thoughtful lighting. The oils they used also spelled pleasant and the whole staff was so sweet and charming. I booked myself a birthday self care massage this morning online (kick off to events). I arrived about 19 mins prior to my 11am appointment (I live close-bonus!) Immediately walking in to the space I felt relaxed and welcomed by this incredibly beautiful and pleasant representative who at once checked me in and did an accurate assessment on my needs for the day. I was given instructions and tucked into a comforting room where I got ready (and excited) for my massage with air cupping and hot stones. All extras as an add on to your choice of timeframe of massage. These add-ons where extremely reasonable in cost and to be honest very much needed. *They had fire cupping (my online choice) but is not currently offered. In my opinion I was ok with trying air and glad I did. It is a different experience but the results (less than 10 minutes later) are of equal value. Nancy, my masseuse comes in and for the next 90 minutes works absolute magic on my troubled areas. She was very patient and comforting and totally made me feel safe and not tense. Nancy understood the assignment of the assessment - deep deep tissue. She delivered. She too identified my areas of need swiftly and worked politely yet very sternly to help alleviate my tension. After administration of the air cupping she again told me how she could tell my varied areas of my body were telling her (without me having to say anything but an occasional yes/no) where to focus. Over all, getting a massage can be intimidating and off putting to some at some places....this is not one of those places! From the greeting to the massage to the good-bye, excellent service!!! I took a chance on this place and gave it a try and I'm really glad I did. I was visiting friends from out of town on Memorial Day weekend, so most spas were booked up. I randomly found this place on Google Maps. They had an opening so I gave it a whirl. And wow! I'm so glad I did! The lady that worked on me was so kind and sweet. She did a sort of Thai/Swedish style massage and it was one of the best I've had in a while. I usually am not a fan of Thai massages but now I think I may have not had a good one up until now, which is odd because I live in LA and Thai massages are everywhere. This lady did everything! She massaged me, stretched me, pulled me, stood on me, and even used hot stones (which most spas usually up charge for). I'm always skeptical at the beginning of a massage that the masseuse may not know what they're doing. About 1/2 way through this massage I remember thinking, "Damn. This lady is f%*$ng AMAZING!" Do yourself a favor and get the longest massage you can get. I got a 60 minute and I was so sad when it was over! Also, the facility is super clean, quiet and the staff is so polite.
