We have been booking sessions with Kristen over the course of a couple of years now for different reasons. My first session with her, I was pregnant, and with my most recent session, I've been dealing with multiple symptoms from stress, thyroid issues, and just fatigue from motherhood and work in general. She has not only been versatile in her practice according to my body's needs, but she is attentive with problem areas and addresses exactly what we've needed each time, even with suggestions on things to work on following our sessions! Even with the pandemic over the last couple of years, I've felt completely safe and comfortable in her studio, allowing me to fully relax and trust her to work on my problem areas. Recently I have had a lot of circulation issues with my limbs while sleeping. For the first time in months after our session, I was able to get a full night's sleep without waking up with numbness in my arms and the cramps I've been experiencing have also diminished greatly. Her Thai mat sessions are intense but so satisfying, and she is the only person we recommend to our friends and family! I highly recommend Kristen. I had my first appointment with her and she was very quick to respond to my appointment request. Her intake form and our initial conversation before the massage were effective and I felt the massage dealt with the areas of concern from sitting at a desk 40+ hours a week. Today I had an amazing massage by Kristen. I'm 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant, Kristen made sure I was comfortable, checked in with me during the massage to make sure I was still comfortable after laying in a position for awhile and the pressure applied was just right. Kristen deserves 10 STARS! I have never experienced the type of massage/body work that Kristen delivered. She is incredible! I watched her Instagram and YouTube videos and had to try it out. The first time I had her come to my house and quickly scheduled another appt but at her location. Both sessions were amazing and she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She checks in frequently during the session, listens, and is attentive to your needs. She also can make adjustments if you have limitations or uncomfortable in anyway. If something isn't working or if you can't handle a certain movement or position, she quickly has another "trick up her sleeve" or way of doing it so that you can still get relief in that area. Initially 3 hours sounded too long but it goes by so fast and I always wish I had booked longer. She answered so many of my questions and she is extremely knowledgeable. It is clear she has 10 years experience. In addition to her being a wonderful licensed massage therapist, she has excellent customer service. She is extremely responsive, a great communicator, checks in with you the next day, and truly cares about her client's physical well being. I highly recommend Kristen. read more

I had a great experience with Kristen. I suffer from lower back pain (stiffness and sciatica) and Kristen took the time to discuss which areas needed work and ensure they were addressed. I usually get Swedish massage on a table. While that is relaxing, it does not work to relieve my lower back pain. Kristen gave me a Thai mat massage and it made a world of difference! She was able to identify and work on my specific pain and tension areas for a full 90 minutes. I left the massage feeling incredibly relaxed and all of my muscles, which are normally stiff and tight, were loosened up. I also immediately had relief from my back pain, which has never happened following a massage. I've been a client of Kristen for almost a year this point, utilizing her services about once a month. I just did a 3 hr Thai session with Kristen, and let me tell you- if you're even THINKING about a session- DO IT. It may sound crazy, but life changing is the best way I can describe this. I have lived with chronic pain in my hips for years, my back and shoulders carry typical tension, and like most my lack of stretching has limited some of my flexibility/ mobility. By the end of my session, I was able to turn in ways I hadn't in years, and I slept without meds for the first time in years as well. I've already booked a followup session, but I was amazed all evening and the next day at what a tremendous difference I already felt!! My husband could actually feel the reduction in knots in my hips, it was that significant!! She is wonderful, explains what's going on, guides you through and the space is serene and relaxing . I was worried it would be too painful, but she does amazing at going at your pace and never once was I hurting too bad, or needed to ask her to adjust (which I know she totally would have.) this is your sign. Exactly what I needed! I had a few nagging injuries from CrossFit. Kristen really listened to what I was looking for and completely tailored our session to address those issues.
