Beyond lucky to have found such an amazing massage therapist in Kristen! I came to her with tension/stress/tightness from my neck all the way down to my calves. I work out very hard every single day at the gym, and also sit at a desk for work, so basically my body is always very tight and full of knots. Kristen did an incredible job at getting EVERY SINGLE KNOT over the 2 hour session that I booked. She knows the body incredibly well and knows just how much pressure to apply in any given area. I plan to go to Kristen every three weeks (like clock-work) to ensure my body is in top-top shape and firing as it should! Thanks again, Kristen! You're the best!!! read more

I ran the Austin half marathon recently, didn't train much for it so my body was so locked up the next day. Kristen worked on me for almost 4 hours and it was almost like I'd never ran! Not only does this girl know the body but her massage has a greater impact on my daily function than any other massage I've ever had. Highly, highly recommend! read more

Bad communication , texted and called and never got a reply back to either. Ended up going with a another therapist

We have been booking sessions with Kristen over the course of a couple of years now for different reasons. My first session with her, I was pregnant, and with my most recent session, I've been dealing with multiple symptoms from stress, thyroid issues, and just fatigue from motherhood and work in general. She has not only been versatile in her practice according to my body's needs, but she is attentive with problem areas and addresses exactly what we've needed each time, even with suggestions on things to work on following our sessions! Even with the pandemic over the last couple of years, I've felt completely safe and comfortable in her studio, allowing me to fully relax and trust her to work on my problem areas. Recently I have had a lot of circulation issues with my limbs while sleeping. For the first time in months after our session, I was able to get a full night's sleep without waking up with numbness in my arms and the cramps I've been experiencing have also diminished greatly. Her Thai mat sessions are intense but so satisfying, and she is the only person we recommend to our friends and family! We look forward to booking her each time we are able to and I highly recommend the Thai mat sessions! read more

Kristen is very skilled and will get you fast, lasting results. I referred two bodywork clients to her so far since her Thai Yoga Mat techniques deeply open lateral parts of the body that are harder to access in Ashiatsu and Western-style Deep Tissue. read more

Don't walk, but run to her mat! Now!!! Best decision I have made of 2022 and I can't wait to return. I've known Kristen for years, but this was my first experience on the mat and I'm not looking back. I bet you won't either, trust me! read more

I highly recommend Kristen. I had my first appointment with her and she was very quick to respond to my appointment request. Her intake form and our initial conversation before the massage were effective and I felt the massage dealt with the areas of concern from sitting at a desk 40+ hours a week. After the session, she took the time to give me some stretches and exercises to do between appointments. I appreciated how individualized my appointment was. I've been to many places where they just hand you a cup of water and then you pay. Also, she had very reasonable rates, and I'll definitely book again. read more

Today I had an amazing massage by Kristen. I'm 40 weeks and 2 days pregnant, Kristen made sure I was comfortable, checked in with me during the massage to make sure I was still comfortable after laying in a position for awhile and the pressure applied was just right. The entire time I was relaxed, and felt safe in the sense that precautions were taken regarding any concerns of COVID. The ambiance was perfect, smelled, sounded and felt like you were in a true spa environment. I felt very loose and relaxed after the massage....didn't want it to end! Definitely what I needed after carrying a baby full term, feel loose and limber and ready to be induced tomorrow. Thank you Kristen for helping out this mama in need! Highly recommend you book your next massage with Kristen. read more

I had a great experience with Kristen. I suffer from lower back pain (stiffness and sciatica) and Kristen took the time to discuss which areas needed work and ensure they were addressed. I usually get Swedish massage on a table. While that is relaxing, it does not work to relieve my lower back pain. Kristen gave me a Thai mat massage and it made a world of difference! She was able to identify and work on my specific pain and tension areas for a full 90 minutes. I left the massage feeling incredibly relaxed and all of my muscles, which are normally stiff and tight, were loosened up. I also immediately had relief from my back pain, which has never happened following a massage. I highly recommend trying out Kristen's services, and giving Thai mat massage a go if you have never experienced it. I will be going back for sure. read more

Kristen deserves 10 STARS! I have never experienced the type of massage/body work that Kristen delivered. She is incredible! I watched her Instagram and YouTube videos and had to try it out. The first time I had her come to my house and quickly scheduled another appt but at her location. Both sessions were amazing and she makes you feel comfortable and at ease. She checks in frequently during the session, listens, and is attentive to your needs. She also can make adjustments if you have limitations or uncomfortable in anyway. If something isn't working or if you can't handle a certain movement or position, she quickly has another "trick up her sleeve" or way of doing it so that you can still get relief in that area. Initially 3 hours sounded too long but it goes by so fast and I always wish I had booked longer. She answered so many of my questions and she is extremely knowledgeable. It is clear she has 10 years experience. In addition to her being a wonderful licensed massage therapist, she has excellent customer service. She is extremely responsive, a great communicator, checks in with you the next day, and truly cares about her client's physical well being. I highly recommend Kristen. read more

I am so thankful I came to Kristen for a massage. My back and shoulders were in so much pain from all the stress. I booked a massage on a weeknight. She was so kind asking me about my health, the type of music I wanted for the hour, and what area she needed to focus on. Next time I am going to book for an hour and a half massage. Thank you so much for everything! read more

Kristen is the best. "Hands Down" lol. I suffer from alot of back pain due to years of skateboarding, snowboarding and stress. I call Kristen for an appointment at least once a month to stretch, work and get those knots out of my back. She makes it a mellow envornment to relax and be worry free for an hour or hour and a half. I always end up so relaxed that i can never keep track of time. Her rates are great and will give you referral discounts too, which are a plus. Kristen is the BEST IN AUSTIN!! read more

I've been a client of Kristen for almost a year this point, utilizing her services about once a month. I work out frequently, and enjoy her expertise to soothe and rejuvenate all my self-inflicted soreness. Recently, I had an unexpected event, where a root canal was needed. The three-day long intense pain made my body contort into shapes and figures only seen in a Picasso. I called Kristen, who not only made my muscles finally relax, but also recommended a Cryo facial to help alleviate some of the tooth, and facial swelling I encountered. I couldn't be more happy to have Kristen around to help repair my body when I cannot on my own. read more

Kristen is very welcoming and professional. The atmosphere is relaxing and the service is outstanding. The whole experience helped relax and fix a lot of my issues. You will not be disappointed with spending your hardworking money here!!! read more

I just did a 3 hr Thai session with Kristen, and let me tell you- if you're even THINKING about a session- DO IT. It may sound crazy, but life changing is the best way I can describe this. I have lived with chronic pain in my hips for years, my back and shoulders carry typical tension, and like most my lack of stretching has limited some of my flexibility/ mobility. By the end of my session, I was able to turn in ways I hadn't in years, and I slept without meds for the first time in years as well. I've already booked a followup session, but I was amazed all evening and the next day at what a tremendous difference I already felt!! My husband could actually feel the reduction in knots in my hips, it was that significant!! She is wonderful, explains what's going on, guides you through and the space is serene and relaxing . I was worried it would be too painful, but she does amazing at going at your pace and never once was I hurting too bad, or needed to ask her to adjust (which I know she totally would have.) this is your sign. This was my first time using Kristen and she was awesome. She was timely, knowledgeable and addressed all my problem areas. One of the best deep tissues I've had. Will definitely be using her in the future!! read more

Wow! Kristen is beyond incredible. I went to her based on yelp reviews and was not disappointed! She has techniques that get into the lower back, neck and shoulders like no one else. By far the best massage I've ever had. Her knowledge of the body and her focus was amazing. I had lower back pain and she was able to trace it to a muscle in my leg. Exactly what I needed! I had a few nagging injuries from CrossFit. Kristen really listened to what I was looking for and completely tailored our session to address those issues. She incorporated stretching, deep tissue and trigger point releases. Kristen obviously has well above average professional knowledge in dealing with sport related injuries. I would highly recommend her to anyone with sports related injuries that is looking to incorporate massage into their recovery. read more

Kristen has great hours, great rates, and is REALLY good! She has a lot of power, and her Thai game is on point.

Had my first visit with Kristen. She is not only kind, compassionate, and friendly- she is an amazing masseuse. I suffer from a lot of back/ neck pain. (Gymnast in former life). Great service for pain relief! I plan on becoming a regular. Very grateful I found her on Yelp! read more

I had a massage from Kristen a week ago and I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am. My sciatic nerve pain crept up on me and I was laid up on the couch for a good week. Kristen recommended I go to her and I'm mad I waited so long! I had a two hour long Thai massage from her and went from walking like the letter C and crying in pain with every step to being able to literally leap out of bed the next day with absolutely no discomfort. Thank you read more

Massage by Kristen was the best massage I've ever had. Her skill sets are excellent and she understands intuitively the areas in my body that needed more attention. I am a visitor to Austin, but when I return I will definitely book an appointment with Kristen. Kristen is awesome! She will come to your house, which is a huge plus for me. It made for a very relaxing 90 minutes. The pressure was just right and she really understood my needs and troublesome areas. The atmosphere was already nice since we were in my own home, but the music was very nice and helped me relax more. I highly suggest contacting Kristen if you are wanting a massage. read more

Kristen was very prompt in getting our appointment setup, which was important since I only contacted her one day in advance. She's good at what she does - I appreciated that the massage was very "connected" without a lot of breaks. I've been to others who seem to spend extended periods of time wandering around the table and getting things out of drawers. Worth the trip! read more

I came in with sore, stiff shoulders and neck. By the end of the session, I felt like a million bucks. Kristen received her training at Lauterstein-Conway, and is one of the most professional and effective massage therapists I've ever been to (which is saying something in a city chock full of excellent body workers). I recommend her unconditionally. read more

With everything going on I was a little hesitant about having an at home massage, but speaking with Kristen over the phone made me feel a lot more comfortable!! Everyone's safety is a priority to her and she made that clear. Both my Fiancé and I had an hour and a half massage-deep tissue- with some Thai techniques! It was absolutely amazing and exactly what we needed. Kristen brings her speaker and has several playlists so you can choose the one that best fits your style of massage. She's the type of masseuse you want in your home relaxed and comfortable through the whole session. I definitely recommend her to anyone needing a massage and would rather stay home than go to a spa!! read more

Honestly one of the best therapeutic massages I have ever had. Tiny girl, but amazingly strong hands, adjusts pressure to your comfort level. Does stretches and really works the problem areas. She also shows you some stretches to do, to help you until your next session. Her #1 concern is your well being. She loves what she does and it shows. Great price and very friendly. Would recommend her to anyone in need of a great massage. read more

My massage with Kristen was extremely relaxing and helped to work out a pain point for me. When we first met, Kristen listened to my request for relaxation plus increased circulation to an injury in my hip. She was incredibly knowledgeable on the topic. She quickly recommended a blend of swedish and thai massage. I left feeling better than I have in months and look forward to going back! read more

I put my body the ringer a lot. I haven't had a decent massage in months. Probably hands down one of the best massages I've ever had.

I had horrible neck and shoulder pain due to stress and other stuff. After 1 session she made me feel amazing. Best massage I had. She is great with knowing what your body needs. Highly recommend her for all body work!! Don't sell yourself short! I will be going back this month and the following months. read more

I had my first massage by Kristen during a monthly work visit and it was amazing. Month after month I would always go to her when she returned, so for my birthday I went for an hour long studio session. The hour flew by and I felt amazing coming out. Kristen is an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced therapist. One of the best massages that I have ever experienced and from a former athlete that has had a lot of PT, muscle issues, stress, fatigue, and pain, Kristen was a true professional in taking care of all my specific pain points. I don't place a lot of Yelp reviews unless I feel strongly about my experience and this one of the few times I can strongly endorse. read more

I've seen so many massage therapists in the Austin Area but none of them have been as amazing as Kristen! Kristen has worked on me multiple times now, each visit usually is me pulling/tweaking a muscle. She's gentle yet firm, and I swear each massage instantly makes me feel better! She's one of the few I've met that's very consistent in their work and very professional! Shes pencils me in last minute, late at night, you name it! She's also always giving me great advice in after care, preventative care, etc. I highly suggest booking with her for your next massage. read more

Never had a better massage therapist, and I've had a few! Her first and last thought is what's best for her clients. She feels an obligation to partner with you rather than treat you like an hour-or-so-acquaintance. Always sure to ask what areas need work the most, and how much pressure to use. Nice studio and an awesome table! Kristen truly loves her craft and it shows in everything she does. I'm happy to have found her. read more
