This little diner in the Creekside area of Whistler was packed full of hungry people! The wait at 11:15am was about 20 minutes. There wasn't much other choice nearby, which might partly explain it. But the food was delicious! My husband inhaled his Huevos Rancheros while I devoured my combo that included 2 blueberry pancakes, 2 eggs, country fries and avocado slices. It comes with bacon & sausage but I substituted avocado. The pancakes were excellent! The rest of mine was good but nothing that special. They give you lots of food and the service was friendly and attentive. We'd eat there again!

First time eating here after reading Yelp reviews as a great place that locals frequent. Just 9 min outside the village by Creekside. Stopped by on the way home. Not to busy for a late morning, mid week. Service was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Meals were all delicious and well presented. My fav was the Bene with Montreal Smoked Meat with Mustard. I've never seen this before. It was a great combination, especially with the hand cut hash browns perfectly done. Also, the Bene Poutine was another interesting combination you don't normally see. The added cheese curds with gravy was a perfect fit. Highly recommend stopping by. I will for sure!

The place is small. but one of the best breakfasts around, I stopped here 2 years ago, same employees, and yes same amazing food. I will always make it a point to stop here on my many trips to Whistler.

These portions are massive! Honestly feels like I'm back in Texas to be honest lol Recommend getting the ham over the bacon as the bacon is a bit too salty. Really enjoyed the blueberry pancake as well with Canadian maple syrup of course!

I really enjoyed this little hole in the wall. If you like milkshakes, you have to get one from here! I had the espresso milkshake, and it was to die for..sooo good! I had the blueberry pancake breakfast spread, and it was good... except for the pancakes - very white, very gummy in texture. I like my pancakes cooked, lol. The waitresses and hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very small but very fast. They play great music and will probably have a sporting event on if there's something to play. You will have to wait a bit for a table but they are very fast. I would definitely go back!

A bit overpriced for what it is. The food was okay but nothing amazing. My friend and I came Monday morning around 11:30 and the restaurant was maybe half full. Busier than I thought it'd be on a Monday morning. I started with a large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice for $6.99. It was good but wasn't as sweet as I was hoping. I was starving, so I got the Southside Slam for $19.99, which features two blueberry pancakes, bacon, sausage, 2 eggs cooked in any style, and potatoes. It was a lot of food. I couldn't finish the pancakes by the end and needed my friend's help for the last couple bites. The pancakes were probably my favorite part of the meal as they put plenty of blueberries in there. Everything else on the platter was pretty standard. They have a good selection of benedicts as well. My friend got the Veggie-licious ($16.99) that comes with tomato and avocado and really enjoyed it. Paid almost $60 for breakfast + juice/coffee for the two of us, so definitely not a cheap breakfast spot.

Great little diner by Creekside, right across the Huskies gas station. It's got a rather authentic feel, like something out of diners, drive ins and dives. The pancakes were great, with a crispy edge, light and fluffy. The rest of the slammer was good, nice flavored potatoes and standard other elements. We made it for the second breakfast wave around 930 and waited about 10 mins. I can imagine they'd get quite busy though and they do ask you to wait outside, which was a little chilly in 1C so be prepared for that. Mocha was quick, drip coffee wasn't great, but all in all a solid breakfast experience with great background music and a few sports on the scattered TVs throughout.

We stopped by here for brunch. Seating was challenging for a small restaurant. We wanted two tables close to each other. There was a limit of 6 people to a table with covid precautions. After talking to staff, they managed to make the table set up work and there was an empty table between the two tables. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich. Food arrived fairly quickly. Portion size was good for the price. There was a generous portion of home fries. My sandwich was loaded with chicken, bacon, lettuce and tomato slices. It was very satisfying eating my meal. No complaints on the food. For some reason, the restaurant was not enforcing customers to use hand sanitizer upon entry into the restaurant. There was hand sanitizer located just outside the door. Also, staff did not wear face masks. I was expecting most restaurants would be taking these steps during a pandemic. Overall, everyone at my table was happy with their meal. Great option in the area if you are dining as part of a small group.

Provisions is definitely a popular, buzzing spot in the morning! I noticed tons of people ordering…read moretheir breakfast sandwiches--which looked great--but for me, the tater tots were calling my name. I am so glad I went with my gut because they were incredible! They came out perfectly hot, nice and crispy, and were tossed in a seriously flavorful sauce that took them to the next level. The space itself has a few tables if you want to sit and enjoy your food, along with a super convenient self-serve water station. Definitely a great, lively little spot to kickstart your morning--don't skip the tots!

Another 1 star review for the laptop issue. It's their prerogative to have whatever policy they…read morelike, but they could not have handled it any worse. They have a tiny sign hidden behind the water faucet, so small that I didn't see it in two visits to the place. About 20 minutes in, I was made aware of the no laptop rule and put it off to the side. At this point I hadn't even finished drinking my coffee or eating my pastry. As soon as I was done with them, the same boss lady came over and basically asked me to leave because "there were families looking for a table." She even had the audacity to tell me to "read the room." At this point it had been 42 minutes since I entered the establishment and about a half hour since I received my order. I was seated at the smallest table in the place and not taking up much space at all. It would have been tough for even two people to squeeze in to the table where I was seated. Adding insult to injury, in between my two interactions with the boss, a customer rudely asked when I would be leaving. It took all my strength to politely offer to share the table with her, but she just said she wanted the whole thing to herself. So in the span of about 20-25 minutes I had 3 separate conversations trying to justify my existence at this tiny table. It was unreal and I honestly thought I may have been on some hidden camera television show. This place basically wants to take your money and then rush you out so they can get more people in there. I understand the obvious dollars and cents motivation for this, but it's crass and callous and completely unbecoming of even a small town coffee shop. I travel about 200 days a year and I've been to literally hundreds of terrible coffee shops, but I've never in my life been treated this poorly as a paying customer. Maybe just place a big sign informing everyone of a time limit on how long they can sit. Or at least tell the guy who walks in with a laptop bag and blatantly sets up his laptop that he can't hang out there (like I said I was unaware of the policy so obviously wasn't hiding anything). I would have paid double, even treble, to just be informed in advance so I could patronize a different local business in Whistler and avoid that experience.

Free parking in the underground lot for the lodge. I tried several items from their summer menu: kale salad - actually quite good. Served warm, charred veg, one of the better dishes. 4/5. Wagyu tartare - 2.5/5. Very small portion, mediocre tasting beef, served with toast that was super greasy. Roast carrots - also pretty good. Nice cook on the carrots, served with a puree. 3.5/5. Truffle fries - average not a lot of potato flavour, but nice texture. Truffle flavour was barely there. Duck breast main - nice cook on the duck meat but the skin and fat were inedible and tough. I like it rendered down more. 3/5. Barely served with anything. Main problem and theme throughout is the poor value. The portions are all tiny for the prices you pay. Yes it is Whistler and its in a lodge with lots of tourists. But still, if you're going to charge these astronomical prices and have tiny portions, then the execution better be immaculate, which it definitely is not. The real highlight was the service and free parking. I wouldnt go out of my way here for the food.

The gluten-free brioche and Gruyère are thoughtfully proportioned, fully melted and lightly gratinéed, adding depth without overwhelming the soup itself. Nothing feels heavy or overly salty -- just precise, comforting, and very well executed. Enjoyed with a snow-covered lake and mountain backdrop, it's the kind of dish that quietly stands out. Not flashy, just exceptionally good. Easily one of the best French onion soups I've had, and a reason on its own to return to The Den.

We ordered the Grants Platter for Two and shared it between three hungry adults and we still had a lot of leftovers (which were super tasty later)! My favorites from this platter were the brisket (so tender and just the right amount of smokiness) and the chicken wings with dry rub (fried to crispy perfection). The ribs and pulled pork were also really good, but since I prefer my barbecue without sauce, these didn't appeal to me as much as the brisket. I also liked the fresh and tasty mixed greens salad that we got as one of our sides--very balanced and delicious. The staff are super friendly here. Our waiter checked on us several times and even the chef came out to see if we liked the food. It was a wonderful lunch.
