We had a mixed experience at Splitz Grill. We ordered the classic cheeseburger, the Korean BBQ chicken sandwich with grilled chicken instead of crispy, and a side of fries. The Korean BBQ chicken had good flavor, and the fries were very good. Unfortunately, the cheeseburger was disappointing. The burger was quite small and significantly overcooked, which was especially surprising for a restaurant known for its burgers. On the positive side, the service was very friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor patio was a really nice setting. Overall, this was a 3.5-star experience for us. I asked them to replace the fries, and the second batch was just as bad. There's no refund option, and the quality is far below even fast-food franchises. We walked all the way from the village based on the review scores, but I can confidently say: Don't believe the hype. This was a complete waste of money. This is one of our favorite whistler go-to restaurants during our trips up here! Ever since I did my last review from a few years ago, the restaurant is still pretty much the same in terms of food items but no more customizing your burger like you would do with a subway sandwich. [Visited March 2023 - dinner] I was super excited to try this place. It's not in the main village, but still an easy walk, crossing only one real street. Walking in, I thought it looked really fun: black and white tiles, red accents, food cooked on a long visible grill. It was cool that they had a DJ, just made it fun to sit and wait for our food. But, the layout was a little choppy and there weren't really that many places to sit. This place could not accommodate a large party if it had any other customers in it. When the waiter ran our milkshake out, he spilled the cup, and about a hand sized amount came out on the table. He said, " well I didn't really spill that much" [worried we would ask for a new shake?] and ran off. My husband said, clearly he went to go get a rag to clean up. But he never came back. So we had to mop it up with napkins and then clean the sticky off the table with water. Saving grace was the food and selection. You can build your own burger, and there were a bunch of unique options. We got a poutine burger and a hawaiian burger though. Very good. I did find a small hair in the sauce of my burger.
