Build your own bun-less burger - SO good!
Marcie S.

This was one of the best burgers we've had in a long while. Came in for a quick dinner after browsing through all our options and it did not disappoint! First off - I was so happy to see the option for a build my own burger *in a bowl* which is exactly how I like my burgers - bun-less and more of a salad. The meat was cooked just right and all my additions were fresh and perfectly prepared. Second off, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It's so nice to go somewhere and engage with folks who seem genuinely happy. The food was prepared quickly and we all enjoyed coloring during our short wait. Highly recommend and will be back!

Spritz Burger is often touted as the best burger joint in Whistler, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Spritz Royale (topped with bacon and hash brown) along with regular fries and a plate of hot chicken wings. The positives: - Pricing is fair, especially during *happy hour*, when the wings were $7 off. - The burger came as an option on a brioche bun, which initially looked great, and the sauce/flavour setup was definitely tasty and satisfying. - Overall, good value for the money. The drawbacks: - The brioche bun didn't hold up structurally--it completely disintegrated halfway through eating, which made things messy fast. - The burger patty's texture was a bit *mushy*, which raised some concerns and took away from the experience. Hoping it's just a one-off kitchen miss, but it's worth noting. Final thoughts: Spritz Burger delivers on flavour and value, especially if you catch happy hour, but the execution--particularly the bun integrity and meat texture--left something to be desired. With small improvements, it truly could live up to its reputation as one of Whistler's best burgers. Ambience was satisfactory offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was self-serve type that expects 18% + tips. The cashier was friendly.

Always a great burger at Splitz Grill. Such an efficient kitchen. Great to see how everyone works together to prepare a delicious burger. This was one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a long time!!

Classic cheeseburger

Had a great time when we stopped here; first of all, reasonable prices for Whistler and an amazing burger, absolutely loved the classic cheeseburger. My partner built her own and was also very happy with her choices. Lots of ability to customize your burger. Service is simple order at the bar and the food comes out pretty quick. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Casual ambiance, feels like a classic burger joint.

Poutine burger

Casual place in Whistler Village serving superb burgers at a reasonable price. I got the poutine burger and it was delicious and flavorful without being gimmicky. If you can, I recommend sitting at the few outdoor tables they have in the back for a quiet setting.

This spot has a great location in the Whistler Village, making it an easy choice after a long day on the slopes. The burgers coming out of the kitchen look amazing, and dining in might be the way to go because the to-go orders don't hold up as well. Our fries were a bit disappointing, and the food wasn't as hot as we'd hoped by the time we got it. That said, for the area, it's a decent value and still a solid post-ski meal if you're eating on-site.

Splitz has the best burger, the onion rings are so amazing too. Their burgers are tasty, our choices are LEGENDARY STACKER and SMOKEHOUSE. They have a veggie option. The staff was warm and welcoming. we'll be coming back here Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5

Found this place just after arriving from a 13 hour travel day into Whistler. It was like a mirage in the desert. Amazing char grilled burger with great sides, mountain town vibe, great service, fair price, top 10 burger for me when all things are considered. Ended up going three times across 6 days and will be coming back the next time I am in town. If looking for a casual burger vibe after a day of skiing or riding, look no further. Was dumping pow the second time i was there - good vibes

Legendary Splitz burger and fries

Whenever I'm in Whistler and I'm craving a burger, Splitz is my go-to spot! For many years, Splitz has been known for its high quality, filling burgers at affordable prices, and it continues to deliver! I typically get the legendary Splitz burger, but I've tried other burgers in the past as well, and they're all fantastic.

Loved the food here ! So glad they had vegan & veg options compared to just impossible patty. The patties were so flavorful with quinoa & corn & other things. Glad there was vegan chipotle mayo as well. Totally recommend! Def hit the spot.

If you're in Whistler and just craving a good burger I'd highly recommend Splitz. We ate here on the first day we got here and by the end of the trip we were wishing we went back for more and it finished as one of our top 3 favorite places we ate all week. If I go back to Whistler I'll definitely make sure to go more often. Also try some of the vinegar on the fries I know we don't do that in America but it is wicked good so give it a shot.

Nice little burger joint away from the busy gondola area to pop in to in Whistler Village! The burgers were juicy and yummy. Good tunes playing. The staff were friendly. Chill place! I am gluten sensitive and opted for the GF bun and it almost stayed together before I was done eating my burger. IYKYK That's a win! Loved the fries. I will definitely go back when skiing there this ski season 2025.

Hammered all to he@l

Do you like your hamburgers absolutely hammered beyond belief? If so, eat here. Got two burgers, asked for medium, got well done plus char. And they're a thick burger. You can't cook thick burgers like they. Fires were good. Poutine gravy far far far too salty. Nice people, bad burgers. Maybe they just cook everything to the same temp, regardless of what you say. 1 star but bonus star for doing good fries and a nice bricoche bun. Please hire an American to teach burger temps.

First, there's plenty of seating. You come in, get a menu, seat yourself, and when you're ready, order at the counter. They will bring your food to you. We got a table outside in the sun. We ordered the Grants Platter for Two and shared it between three hungry adults and we still had a lot of leftovers (which were super tasty later)! My favorites from this platter were the brisket (so tender and just the right amount of smokiness) and the chicken wings with dry rub (fried to crispy perfection). The ribs and pulled pork were also really good, but since I prefer my barbecue without sauce, these didn't appeal to me as much as the brisket. I also liked the fresh and tasty mixed greens salad that we got as one of our sides--very balanced and delicious. The staff are super friendly here. Our waiter checked on us several times and even the chef came out to see if we liked the food. It was a wonderful lunch. If you're looking for a great meal in Whistler, definitely check out Hunter Gather!

Every time we're in the area we stop in a least twice - once as a family and again just for date night with my husband. I'm blown away at the food and drink prices (you can't beat them) . The food is pretty darn good and the drinks are the best. We came in for lunch and I ordered the Warehouse Mac and cheese which was a perfect conviction of cheeses and Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce on Cavatappi Noodles, and it was just spicy and flavorful enough. We also ordered the sun-dried tomato pesto penne and my son had the crispy chicken Caesar wrap - all were equally as delicious. Returning for drinks, i had a couple of the Sour Keys - (Smirnoff Raspberry, Peach Schnapps, Lemon, Sprite and Sour Key Candy) and oh man - they were dangerously good! Both visits the staff was very friendly and attentive, we never had to wait long, and the bar tender was on top of making sure we were always hydrated. Love this spot and will happily return again.

When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hosts. We came mid week and tried their spring menu which was 4 courses for 33 before tax and tip. The server was prompt and attentive with a sincere, friendly demeanour. They were out of the tomato soup so we got the chowder and some chips and salsa (not pictured). Both were so delicious. The chips were ultra thick and reminded me of eating bugles as a kid, but way higher class. The salmon and chicken were way larger portions than we had expect , and done to perfection. Chicken is a little spicy but this is the type of service and cooking I liiiiive for! If you've ever had any other Earls scratch that out of your mind because when you come here, this is literally the place to be. Sticky toffee pudding also wonderful. It's not like a pudding more like a mini chocolate cake with toffee, vanilla ice cream and this almond florentine style cookie. The place is part of Mark James group (Yaletown Brewing etc.), so one can already know what to expect if one has been to the other locations. Staff are friendly. Most of them seem to be Australian. Only complaint was that my friends and I couldn't be seated outside on the patio for some reason, even though there were clearly tables available (I didn't see any reserved signs). Not sure why the waitress insisted we sit inside where the place was maybe 30% full, but oh well. The place feels like a giant chalet, with the timber trim everywhere. They have a pizza oven, and the beer production tanks are visible over the kitchen area. There's even a toy train that does a circuit throughout the dining area (look up). One thing worth mentioning is that the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor, which may be a problem for some. Food here is Whistler pricing, so be sure to have deep pockets. I was told to try the High Mountain beef ribs, so there is now 1 less cow out there. 3 bones drenched in BBQ sauce, served on top of a pile of coleslaw and next to a pile of mashed potatoes (there is a fries option). Ribs were cooked well but the sauce was definitely on the salty side. I tried a piece of my buddy's prime rib and it's pretty solid. The portion size was definitely enough. I was stuffed. I also had a flight of their craft beer (4 glasses). As of the time of writing, they only have 8 beers available, but it was more than enough. Overall the place is worth a visit if one wants pub style comfort food.
