When you walk in you're promptly greeted by the hosts. We came mid week and tried their spring menu which was 4 courses for 33 before tax and tip. The server was prompt and attentive with a sincere, friendly demeanour. They were out of the tomato soup so we got the chowder and some chips and salsa (not pictured). Both were so delicious. The chips were ultra thick and reminded me of eating bugles as a kid, but way higher class. The salmon and chicken were way larger portions than we had expect , and done to perfection. Chicken is a little spicy but this is the type of service and cooking I liiiiive for! If you've ever had any other Earls scratch that out of your mind because when you come here, this is literally the place to be. Sticky toffee pudding also wonderful. It's not like a pudding more like a mini chocolate cake with toffee, vanilla ice cream and this almond florentine style cookie. Earls normally great. But let me say this. The server was great. She did an amazing job. The hostess clearing off a table broke a glass. And it took her 15 mins trying to broom it up. She didn't know how to work a broom which isn't the problem but this girl was inebriated if you guys want to fight me on anything I'll post the video I'm trying to keep the peace by not making this girl get fired. But man this was garbage. She then started arguing with my girlfriend and saying the glass wasn't there. And made a face to the staff about it. We walked in and see if we could make reservations at this restaurant but were told that there was a patio seating available. It was a rather cold April evening, so we asked if there were heaters. We were told that the heaters would be above our seats. We quickly accepted and were taken to our table. It was quite nice because the heather gave off enough heat for it to be enjoyable to sit outside. My friend ordered the 6 oz prime sirloin with the peppercorn sauce. Our reservation was at 4:30pm, perfect and just in time to order from the happy hour menu (order be. I spied a Mai tai on the cocktail list and asked our server whether he thought it was good. I had tasted an amazing mai tai in Maui a few months ago and even on the island, not all mai tais were equal. I was pleasantly surprised that this one was comparable to the one I was reminiscing. Luckily, we chose to sit at the bar instead and that cut the wait time down to about 20 minutes. Service was friendly and timely but a tad slow. 1. Wings - Came with hot sauce instead of buffalo sauce. The hot sauce had a good spice to it and slowed me down to about 3-4 wings at a time. 2. I enjoy all the Earl! This one is fun on a 3 day ski weekend, where you're going to take day 2 slow and chill and browse the stores

I was a bit hesitant about going here after reading some of the reviews but I'm so glad we did! First, yes it's overpriced (but many places in Whistler are). But the atmosphere on the patio was great - this is a weird thing to focus on but my husband and I kept talking about how great the outdoor seating was - outdoor tables and chairs always feel uncomfortable but these were cushy and the table was spacious and easy to eat on. Ok, enough about the chairs... Our server was great - super friendly and easy going but still very competent and professional. And our food was really solid. We all got different things - burgers, Asian noodle salad, etc - and they all were surprisingly good. Not worth the price we paid of course but at least when prices are racheted up in tourist areas, it goes down a little easier if you enjoy your experience and we did just that. read more

We started with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps which were spicy, tasty and a nice portion. Then, it was steaks all around for my crew - Canadian Ribeye and Sirloin. One steak was tataki style with sushi (Steak and Sushi combo) but sadly the sushi was not dairy-free (strange) but we were glad they checked. Fries were tasty dipped in the sauce that accompanied the steak. Cocktails were also delicious and would recommend the Grape Crush Vodka Soda. This was one of our favorite meals of our trip. Great ambiance and a wide variety of options to appeal to everyone.

We came here in November 20 21 and had a great time overall. Granted it's during Covid and before the snow, so the experience is different than probably what it would be now. The restaurant is very big with indoor and outdoor seating and the staff is very easy to talk to and has great service overall. The food and drinks that we had during happy hour menu were OK and nothing really that exciting which was a little disappointing considering we're at such a luxurious location. Hopefully the next time we come and visit we can try some different options and see what it's like when it's snowing outside. read more
