Nice grill with a river front view. We got outdoor seating on a nice day, though slightly windy. From our table you could see the river and eagles if they were there. Food is decent. My daughter ordered chicken pot pie with side of soup. It was tomato soup home made which is great, very hearty. The chicken pot pie comes really hot and has the classic top crust done very well and is very hearty. I ordered truffle mushroom linguine and it was decent. Nice sauce, creamy, very hearty and satisfying. Decent place to stop by if you're in Squamish. read more

Consistently Poor Service - Avoid This was my fourth visit, and the third time something went wrong. Today's experience was particularly frustrating. Our waitress was distracted throughout the meal, missed parts of our order, and failed to deliver items to the table after we paid the bill. We waited 30 minutes for desserts that never came. When we asked about them, she said she had punched them in but guessed the kitchen ran out of paper and never got the order. She then attempted to charge us a second time for a bill we had already paid. Over my last four visits, three have involved the server forgetting to put orders in entirely, leaving you waiting with no idea anything is wrong. When you finally ask about your food, you get some excuse with zero accountability. The service here is consistently poor and I would not recommend it. read more

Perfect perfect well known classic for Squamish. Right on the beautiful river with ample bike parking, a trail to explore if they're on a wait and lots of tables with a view, even decent car parking considering! Well, of course we had to stop in twice while we were on vacation in Squamish to take in the local vibes and the beautiful scenery after a hike on the government road around the Squamish River. Great spot located on the river so the setting is lovely. Parking is across the road, down just a bit, but not too far away even on a cool evening. Service was good, we sat in back area and I imagine during the warmer months this would be a perfect place to linger over dinner while enjoying the view. We had a couple of the local draft beers which were great. Husband had the fish & chips which was fresh and good. I went with the Salmon burger and subbed the salad for the fries. It is off the main road right next to the river, great serene place with great burger and super friendly staff. Yes, I am a Virgin River fan and went looking for Jack's Bar...found it here at The Watershed Grill and so glad we did. It sits along the Squamish River---a beautiful view from anywhere in the restaurant and relaxes you as soon as you get there. I am giving this place 5 stars for their food and their service. First, they have a very diverse menu. Canadian staples, a few Japanese items, and then just great down home offerings. You also have the opportunity to do Happy Hour every day: I ordered the burger with fries and had some tomato soup on the side. The burger was cooked perfectly--just slightly pink on the inside, well seasoned, and juicy. They add a house made sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and bacon at no extra cost. It was really good. The fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The tomato soup was delicious as well---not acidic, small tomato chunks, and lots of cheese. Our server was present and quick and really took ownership. I'm glad that Virgin River brought me here, but this place definitely doesn't need a tv show to keep its customers coming back. read more

Fantastic restaurant with amazing views. This quaint little restaurant placed on a riverbed was buzzing when I walked in on a Friday afternoon. Considering how busy the place was they were very enthusiastic about sitting a party of 15! Super accommodating and did everything to make our big bunch of people aging 70 years to 3 months comfortable. The food is absolutely divine! You cannot go wrong with anything that u order. We ended up having almost everything on the menu tomato soup, green coconut curry, burgers, fish and chips, pasta, sea food linguine, baked Brie, gyoza, all mix of veg and non veg was absolutely delicious. We wished we had 2-3 stomachs to eat it up all. The service was very attentive and absolutely courteous. 100 points there. Oh you know the best part?? It's the eagle watching area and while your savouring your delicious meal, you have a breathtaking view with bald eagles on trees!! Straight out of a documentary!! We dined on the baked brie (as a main) and the salmon burger with yam fries and homemade tartar sauce. If you're into cheese and bread, the baked brie is where it's at. It comes with roasted garlic and onion jam and to add some freshness, a salad of mixed greens. This was everything, melted cheese paired so well that I didn't even feel guilty about it. We stopped by here on our way back to the city and wow was it worth the slight detour. Apparently this was the first day the restaurant had reopened after shutting down for COVID-19 but we were so impressed with our whole experience. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and seemed well trained to ensure the highest level of customer safety and health. I appreciated how open the staff was about their new protcols and measures they were taking to remain compliant. With that aside, the food, drinks, view, and atmosphere was all fantastic. I am not a caesars cocktail fan at all, but I actually loved it. I was so impressed a cocktail could have so much flavor and spicy it was so scrumptious! All of our burgers were perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. My boyfriend and I got the yam fries and house salad as our sides to split and they were both fantastic. I loved how crispy the fries were while accompanied with a yummy aioli sauce. The salad was fresh with the perfect amount of balsamic dressing. We were on our way to Vancouver from Whistler and needed some lunch. We found this place on Yelp and chose it because it was by the river. It was a beautiful setting and all the food we had was amazing. We had the crab cakes that were the best ever. My wife had the tomato soup that was cream based and had lots of cheese. For my main dish I got the curry shrimp that was very fresh and tasty. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of her game. The place filled up fast and had a wait by the time we left. The Watershed Grill was the first restaurant that we visited in BC soon after we moved here from the US 3 months ago, so it holds a somewhat special place in our hearts. Given that we were living in North Vancouver at that point of time, we literally went out of our way to visit this place! But it was truly worth the long drive along the beautiful Sea-to-Sky Highway to get to this neat and hip joint which has amazing views (thanks to it being located right by the Squamish River, far away from the hustle bustle of the main strip mall in Squamish), a lively ambiance, yummy food and very friendly staff! We had our first plate of Poutine here after reaching Canada, and enjoyed the Mussels, Onion Rings, and delish Tacos along with the nice cocktails (the Beergarita is recommended!). It was an absolute pleasure to be served by Ami and Ellie, and to chat with them. Taking a stroll by the gushing river was a pleasure when waiting for our turn to be seated and also after a sumptuous meal. Pro tips: The place can get pretty crowded during weekends, so please come prepared to wait for a bit after putting your name on the waitlist and/or to receive the food after placing your order. Dress warm on days with lower temperatures because it gets nice and cold, both outside and inside the place. The parking spots by the restaurant building are limited, and you'll have more luck finding a spot in the lot further up the road. read more
