I loved how fresh the ingredients were! Super tasty burgers and amazing truffle fries! There is seating outside and they have an upstairs patio area! Service was friendly and quick. The views were so beautiful!!

perfect pit stop on your way! talk about a view while you eat :) the gravy here is amazing, i had the cheeseburger and it was the perfect size, the bun was so soft and good. shared fries with my husband which was good because it would've been too filling otherwise! i'm glad i got to stop in, it's been too busy any other time i drove past :)

This is a late review from the summer - too bad I still remember it so clearly. Great view - as it's along the Sea to Sky - plenty of parking space. There is a burger restaurant and a cafe right beside it - operating under the same name - but you'll need to make separate transactions. Service was somewhat quick - however the cashier at the food side of things kept rolling her eyes - literally said "it's a burger, pick one" - guess she was having a off day? Truffle fries were mushy - they were fresh - didn't taste any different from a standard fry - Burger was literally a hot mess - literally dripping everywhere - if that's your kind of burger - great - however for me - i felt like i was eating something from the swamps - literally couldn't keep it's form - and just broke apart like a mushy mess. Burger taste wise - was very very salty. 2 stars for the view and the coffee being decent - I am going to skip this one , and pack food for the next adventure.

I come here on my way in to Squamish. I like their matcha latte and it's nice to sit outside on their big red chairs during peaceful mornings. Friendly service.

Love the views here and the burgers! So fresh and juicy, and I was so excited to see all the options on the menu. Of course I had to get an iced coffee afterwards, and it was truly one of the best iced lattes I've ever had!

This is such a convenient stop alongside the sea to sky highway. I've stopped by several times either for coffee or burgers and the experience is usually positive. I agree with other reviews that eating the burger can be kind of difficult in the winter season since they don't really have much seating that's sheltered from the elements. It also gets really dark and cold well before dinner time so definitely be prepared to eat in the car. Summer time was much better and the picnic tables were great. Unfortunately, their hours are occasionally inconsistent due to staffing :( They also have a washroom available which was super convenient.

Build a burger this top notch in the middle of the mountains on the roadside????? WHAT ?? The view we had eating this deliciousness was off the charts

This cup was 12oz which was true.

False advertising about the cup size.. very disappointing.. coffee was good but lemonade... they said its size 16oz but looked almost the same as 12oz so I had t do this.. btw, it was over 7 dollars.. The size is 14oz and they put ice.. so.. very disappointing about their false advertising

Stopped here on our way to Whistler after observing it being built the past year or so. Super convenient location off the freeway with some bathrooms but there is limited seating for both the burger joint and coffee shop. The coffee shop is decorated nicely and has some nice espresso machines but the coffees we got were not good - it tasted burnt and super bitter and customer service was not very friendly. it took a while for our americanos and my latte to come out so not sure we will return anytime soon. Maybe will give them some more time to figure out their brew timing and recipes. promising spot though.

The menu has an Italian and Greek touch. They also have a full coffee menu, and I noticed the tea selection was especially impressive with quality brands. I got a green olive sandwich, which was an interesting combination of hummus, fig spread and fresh figs, olives, and arugula on a pita. I thought it worked surprisingly well! The overall flavour profile of the sandwich was savoury - the figs didn't stand out as sweet when combined with the other ingredients. I also got an iced tea (lapsang souchong - a tea that I really like but rarely see in tea shops) and what they called an "ugly but beautiful" cookie. I don't know what the type of cookie is actually called, but it seemed like a meringue-based biscotto with crunchy nuts inside. It was good - I liked the texture! I liked how they decorated the store, it had a homey vintage look. They were swamped when we visited but the staff was very pleasant nonetheless!

It was stacked with plenty of meat! I wish it had a bit more of the veg, but it was quite filling with all the meat. The brown sugar hojicha was pretty good. Even though it had a brown sugar syrup, it wasn't too sweet. Overall, it was a great snack and I'd probably stop by again (:

Excellent cup of latte and cappuccino. Truly one of the BEST brisket baguette and just I've ever had. They neither compromised on the quality or quantity. I already was planning on driving up north to Squamish so I knew I wanted to stop here since I remember getting a really good scone here a few years back. I made sure to download the offline Google map before heading out because I know service is spotty in the area. As the name states the place is a combined general (convenience) story and cafe. It has a parking lot right at front so parking is easy. I went with a caramel macchiato & the only scone that was left which was cheese scone. I'm pretty sure the place gets limited fresh backed goods and all the good ones sell out earlier in the morning. It was afternoon so pickings were limited & sadly my scone was a little stale. Luckily the caramel macchiato made up for it. It was a really good balance of balanced sweetness from the caramel & what tasted like med/dark toast coffee. Nice, hot & flavorful on a cold day. It was even more enjoyable because the counter top/bar seating faces the water outside. Aside from the usual cafe, they also sell local beer which you can even enjoy outside if you so please. The general store part contains many of usual goods you'd usually find. I don't have a photo but they had this spicy ketchup chip that was very good. Oh & if you do make this stop (& you should) be sure to check out the nearby "waterfall." It's to your right as you exit.the store, just up the little hill. It's worth the short walk. I plan to go to Whistler the next time I'm in Vancouver and I also plan to stop here once again. Cheers!

There is a whole new development with ice cream, bakery, and 3 or 4 eating establishments, all perched overlooking the ocean and the mine museum. We wandered in, and were seated right away, lots of room (it is sort of at the back of the new village area, so you'll pass by 2 or 3 competing options for food first! And it just opened on Thursday - we knew we were lucky! First, the view. The restaurant is perched looking over the highway (or Autostrada in Italian) for an amazing view of the sparkling ocean AND the towering mine museum, freshly renovated and looking good! Plus there are a few mountains scattered around, it IS BC, after all! Second, the fish burger. They have an oyster bar right as you come to the front door, they do seafood towers, it is THAT kind of a place! (On the side of the highway, in deserted little Britannia Beach, I know!). The rockfish was done perfectly, in a burger, and Im no chef, but the sauce gave this the best taste of ANY fish burger EVER. I asked for the side Caesar alongside it - and IT was the best Caesar salad EVER - and I used to make them! Something about the really finely grated cheese and slabs of anchovy filets - and the fries looked good too - but the combination was LIFE CHANGING! (thats why I HAD to write a quick review) Third, the bar. Crazy to serve drinks as you are headed down the highway, isn't it? Almost entrapment! OK, so if you could only have one or two drinks, you'd want them to be GOOD drinks! They have great beer and wine selection, but the bartender mixing the drinks is MADE for Pisco Sours and fine cocktails, crafted right in front of you. He mentioned that he had his OWN version of Pisco Sour - and Im going to highly recommend having a cocktail and looking out at the world with a renewed satisfaction. Third, the patio. No lineup - YET! The word will get out! (Right here) High top tables and chairs AND lowered firetables and couches facing out over the ocean, with umbrellas - classic! And beautiful, well done, interesting - check out the rosewood looking art deco couches, lift the cover on the firetable - here comes fall, it WILL come in handy! You COULD lineup in Squamish for a fast food joint. You COULD be 50 deep at a restaurant in Whistler. OR you could turn off the road in Britannia Beach, explore the new village, find the ice cream shop inside the old church - they hail from Ontario, so they KNOW what they are doing! Autostrada hails from Vancouver, you can find an outlet there too. Add in a great bakery, a stroll to the art gallery on the waterfront, a tour of the mine museum - and you'd better leave early because this is going to be a "secret" favorite stop for years to come!
